- If you thought it isn't possible to knit ribbing without using purl stitches, then you need to take a quick peep at this super squishy, chunky knit scarf! In the entire scarf there are only 7 purl stitches, and those are ALL in the cast off row of the pattern.
This scarf pattern is perfect for EVERYONE, from a beginner, to an experienced knitter looking for an easy project.

My pleasure 😊
Obrigada por ensinar tão bem!!!!
Thank you!
New to knitting. I’ve crochet for 52 yrs. I’ve always wanted to learn to knit. I understand the continental knitting better than other ways. Thank you for the great instructions.
You are so welcome! 😀🧶
This is lovely and so easy. This makes me want to study knit stitch anatomy a little closer, because this slip stitch purlwise makes such a lovely texture and I wonder what other tricks are out there to simplify my knitting journey. 😉
Thank you for sharing this very eye opening pattern and technique. ❤😘
I am loving your patterns & you are so clear in your instructions…I am loving getting back to my knitting after being away for awhile. Thank you for your beautiful patterns & great video tutorials. A loyal fan

Love it! 🎉
Yay! Thank you! 😀🧶
Another wonderful pattern! Plus, awesome video tutorial. I’m not a fan of purling, so perfect pattern.
Great scarf, great video! Thanks! And thanks for the free written pattern. I was just about to write it all down when I noticed that you gave that pattern to us and I don’t have to! ❤
You are so welcome! 🧶😀
Such a pretty scarf 🧣. I'll have to write the directions down and try it with a row counter to keep track... otherwise it looks like a mistake waiting to happen lol. Seems like I started a green and black hat in this same pattern years ago, and went to continue working it, again years later. It didn't end well.
🇧🇷💕🌷💥Lindo obrigada.
I love this pattern! I like your lessons because you go slow enough and directions are great!
Thank you so much! Happy Knitting! 😀🧶
I seem to be doing a yarn over and increasing stitches bc I knit English style
Love this and all your patterns! I bought this one and it says to knit the scarf in multiple of 3+4 yet in the tutorial you say multiple of 4+3. Just clarifying which is correct? Thanks!
4+3!! Will get that corrected tomorrow - if you purchased on ravelry it’ll email you out a new copy of the pdf. Thank you so much for pointing this out! 🫣
Finding it difficult to do continental way could you please do a uk way ❤
I’m afraid I can only knit continental 🙂
Hello! I’m a beginner knitter, and I was wondering, when you say to cast off on a row 1, does that mean cast off when you’ve just finished row 1 or before you start it? I hope this makes sense. Thank you!
It means you cast off when working the row one. Hope that helps
I have my scarf nearly finished, have been doing some of your baby blankets in between. One thing I am not happy with is that one side is bumpier in the stitch but the other side is excellent. Is it the yarn because I am not doing an anything wrong…just curious, it is still very pretty in a lovely cherry red color. Thank you again for your great videos & clear instruction.
