- Double Knitting is a way to knit two back to back pieces of fabric at the same time with two different colors. It's a fun way to add extra warmth to your knitted piece and provide a unique two color pattern. In this video I will show you how to do double knitting with straight needles including how to cast on, how to do the double knitting stitch, how to produce the clean straight selvage edge for two color double knitting as well as how to bind off.
