    Hey guys! Regarding the glitter:
Thank you all for your comments, and thanks to the people who informed me that edible does not mean that the glitter is biodegradable (which is concerning in its own right... yikes).
If you want to use glitter, make sure you get one that is LABELLED as being biodegradable. “Eco Stardust” makes some great choices, and they are stocked on ASOS :) stay sparkly, my loves ✨✨✨

it is also not edible, it is "food contact safe", but yeah, still microplastic

Instead of the alcohol you can use witch hazel - it'll hold like he alcohol does, and has healing properties for your skin 💖

Mix the citric acid the last to minimize reaction. Additional oils with corn starch and baking soda first. Once they're mixed, add citric acid

@- ̗̀ mischa ̖́- that's true, from the sulfur. I got "coal bath bombs " for xmas. They're just chocolate & coffee scented & are dyed such a dark brown they're nearly black. So in that sense it would be a good gift for the naughty listers like me Haha. If anything else, can be used for a foot soak, I use the little ones for my feet only.

My daughter and I made these and they are amazing and magical. We did have a hard time getting them out of the molds though. We doubled the recipe. I figure if you're going to take the time and make the mess, may as well make plenty. We did not use glitter, but we did use sugar crystal sprinkles on the top (found in the baking section). She warns to be careful not to use too much coconut oil, but we ended up using quite a bit ( a little at a time) to keep the salts from falling off.

Okay so I need some help lol. These are super cool and I REALLY want to make some to send to friends out of state, but I’ve tried making them twice now and I seem to be struggling. I have to add that I’ve never made bath bombs before so I definitely expected to have some trial and error lol.
My first batch got super wet when I added the coloring to it, I’m not sure if I accidentally added too much rubbing alcohol, but I tried to save it by adding more corn starch until it was a little thicker and dryer again. They came out super fragile and break apart really easily.
My second batch I tried really hard to follow everything exactly and mixed it all up before the liquids could activate. I used about a tablespoon of rubbing alcohol and it was a little on the dryer side but I trusted the recipe and they fit into the molds pretty well. Now I’m trying to get them out of the molds after a full 24 hours and they are SUPER difficult to get out of the molds even after I tap the sides and they keep breaking around the edges while I try to get them out.
What am I doing wrong? Both times I struggled so bad to get them out of the molds without breaking them and I think I’m missing something here lol.
If anyone has any feedback, I’d appreciate it so much! Thanks :)

First off, great video. I really enjoyed watching it and it was easy to follow along. Sadly, only one of my bath bombs worked out of the 3 i made. During the drying process they kept bubbling up in the middle so i had to keep flattening them out. 2 broke when i tried taking them out and the 3rd one is fine--ish lol. I did however use Wtich Hazel instead of rubbing alcohol so not sure if that made the difference??? I also noticed that i had to use like 1 table spoon and a half to make the mixture sticky enough to mold. Any suggestions?
