Love the Allett Liberty. I just picked up the petrol version of the Battery liberty in the kensington Reel mowers are definitely the superior cut ✂️ I've only just come back to your channel as I was looking at the ryobi battery reel way back when and then I thought about buying one again as my lawn is only 55 metres square which I cut with the Kensington, I just was thinking would it be easier and what not. But the height of cut isn't low enough on the ryobi, so i will stick with my beautiful kensington. I was wondering if you are going to purchase anymore cartridges for the Allett reel? I notice the scarifier cartridge in the back ground of your vid. I'd love to see the comparison for your ryobi electric dethatcher and the Allett dethatcher cartridge on the liberty. I'm thinking of purchasing the scarifier cartridge, dethatcher cartridge, verticut cartridge and the 10 blade cartridge $$$$$$$ not cheap, but I'd love the full kit to be able to really manicure my lawn. P.s. how do you find the scarifier cartridge? do you use it much, for say a light sweep of the dead material. Do you find it helpful and advantageous in the quality of your lawn going forward by grooming with the scarifier cartridge. Anyway thanks buddy Loved the mini reno, I can watch every lawn vid available lol. I have a problem 😄 Allett Mowers Australia. Facebook
The Kensington is a great mower too, a friend of mine has the Rover version, and borrowing that is what got me into the reel mowing world! I find the scarifier cartridge really helpful, I plan to use it once every 2 - 3 weeks during the growing season this year. I didn't get to use it often enough last season due to all our wet weather, the lawn just wasn't in the right condition for it. Sounds like you've got quite the shopping list for yours! I have a similar list, but the next one I think I want is the verticutter. I think it will do wonders for the runners in the kik. I'm going to do a comparison soon of the Ryobi dethatcher, so definitely stay tuned! Cheers! 🤙
Good stuff mate. Could you have been more aggressive with the scarifier or would that do more damage than good. Liked the garbo bag idea, why not have a compost pile if you have the space or use it as mulch around the plants. Just so you know, I've never done any Reno before but I'm busting to use my new Sawmi Scarifier with a dethatching reel as well for my first attempt ever soon.
Probably could have done another pass or two with the scarifier, but was running out of puff by that point! Haha. Good luck with your reno, I'll be keen to hear how the Sawmi goes!
So, you’re probably not taking requests.. but I’m legitimately curious how many calories you burn walking back and forward 9000 times.. you’re clearly jacked and tanned, so I assume it’s a lot.. I reckon there’s a tangent video working out how many beers you burn in a single session… aaand go!
I reckon I know a guy who has done a few calorie burn comparisons in his time. Will have to enlist his help. Also, I'm not jacked and tanned, I'm swole and staunch. 💪
I'm not sure, mate. There's a list on the Old Time Parts website of different units they've tested them on, and 18v isn't on that list. Not to say it won't, though, but I've not seen an 18v expand-it or similar?
Great video mate. PLEASE get rid of that pathetic hand spreader and get yourself the ryobi 18v hand spreader. I use them professionally in my business. They are fantastic. Loved the video. I want to buy my daughter a ryobi mower and snipper for xmas. Love your thoughts?? Not sure about the 18v or the bigger one that you have.
Haha, a proper spreader is on the list! It jammed up on me today while doing the front! So frustrating!! Depending on the size yard, the 18v can be perfectly fine, especially considering the weight difference in the whipper snipper. I used the 18v snipper for years, and my mum and sister both use the 18v mowers at their places and love them. But, if you've got more than say 350m2 to cover, the bigger 46cm 36v option might be a better choice.
Loved the last scene. It's what its all about.
Definitely mate. 🐶

I'll let you know but not having ever used one before, I'll have nothing to compare it against. But I'll do my best with it.

Will the rotary scissors work on the Ryobi 18V?

Ahh ok thanks mate - I’m keen on a pair so looks like I’m upgrading at some stage. Great work on the channel 👌🏼
