@ your probably looking at a 1990-1993 model too btw. Its had a new donor motor as green chassis had black top and gray chassis has the orange top motors . Both green / black and grey orange are early 90’s mowers
@theaussielawn Ah sweet. Thanks mate, I tried to search on the part numbers I could find for it, and all I came up with was a super vague "1978 - 1988" for the numbers I found. It would make sense it's a bit of a Frankenstein, given where I found it. 🤣
Great vid, looking for a similar mower for renovations .The Honda doesn’t go low enough. Just moved over to plant doctor products do you water it in after your application.
G'day mate - the struggle is real with getting some of the mowers low enough, that's for sure. Some of the Masport mowers drop down quite low though, so give them a look if you need something that can do it all from start to finish. 👌. A lot of the Plant Dr stuff can sit on the leaf, but I usually give it a water, because I only apply it with around 8 - 10 litres in my sprayer, so a quick hit with the irrigation afterwards is perfect. But, I think they recommend if you use somewhere around 15 litres per 100m2, you wouldn't need to water too much in. 🤙
Hey mate..How u finding your scarifier..mine seems to be cutting out even when i have the them pulled in all the way..its like i have to let them off & pull them in again
@@hermits-cabin8334 Yeah I've noticed mine doesn't like being loaded up any more than a basic amount. So if it's spinning away and comes to a section that is particularly thick, it'll cut out, then come back on, and sort of stutter its way through. On normal running though it's fine. Mine just seems to not like a sudden load-up when it's already running.
@hermits-cabin8334 Yeah 100% worth getting changed over. The Ryobi warranty process is so easy. If you have the 18v one, I'd angle to swap it (even with a bit of extra cash on top) for the 36v one.
@hermits-cabin8334 Yeah that's fair enough. Once you get into a specific system it's hard to justify swapping for just one tool. Good luck with the warranty, hopefully the replacement works like it should!
@@1972prem Hey mate, its an AE-054 Utility. According to the only identifier I could find. When I googled that, that's the model that popped up, so I assume that's the correct numbers. 🤙
That victa is running ultra well mate, you scored well 😎
@@theaussielawn Thanks legend 🤙 I didn't really know what to expect with it, but I'm stoked!

I've never used one, but you could try a corded mower to see how it goes.
Great video mate can’t wait to see the results 👍👍

The old toe cutter! You wouldn't be able to do that with a battery mower.
