  • This is the 2020 BMW R 1250RS. It has to be the best all round bike we've tested so far. The power of this bike is just perfect, storage capabilities are spot on.
    Check out the review and leave us a thumbs up and a comments on what you like about this amazing BMW Motorad.
    Below is a like to the BMW Alton website, where you can check out the R1250RS

    One major feature you didn't mention is the electronic suspension, it's the main reason I bought mine, best I've ridden and I'm now retired and I've been riding since I was 16!
    You won't regret owning one.

      I am thinking about getting this bike do you use the stock seat or the Low seat option or an aftermarket one .

    Welcome To The Best bike ever.
    Austin Yellow with all the goodies. 154 top speed is. (qs smooths off after about 600 miles it’s best when revved hard going up and you must be completely off throttle going down).

    Nice review mate. The quick shifter takes getting used to. You have to be precise and as it says 'quick with your shifts. I love my r1200rs, In my humble opinion this bike is the best BMW. Keep up the good work. 👍🇦🇺

      I do not own this bike and I have not yet tested it but I tend to agree. Currently on a roadster, when time will come to switch to a more touring oriented option this will be my first choice ✌️

    Always good to hear what others think of a bike as an alternative to the regular mob😉 A couple of minor niggles, you said it was low on torgue-really? It's got 140 odd nm which is more than the vast majority out there except stuff like the Rocket 3 and new R18 . My 1250 GS runs fine on supermarket unleaded as that's all 95 ron so no need to go elsewhere unless you want to. Yeah the QS isn't the best, but it does get better as you get used to it and it does come in useful for overtakes, barp, barp, barp sorry officer. I've ridden both the 1200 and 1250 RS' and couldn't find a better overall sports tourer though unless BMW have changed the way they sell the RS much of the stuff you want isn't on a model you can buy, you have to add "packs" to it which soon adds cost to a new bike but little value come trade in. Crash protection 😰 you need either BMW or aftermarket engine bars or Machineart xheads. I know it's horses for courses but I have chosen the GS both times when the RS was in the frame come new bike time. The extra comfort, visibility and the telelever front end being the deciding factors.

      Thanks for your reply to the video. When I test rode other bikes I kept wanting to get back on this one. I really like it. And now I'm looking at getting one 😊

      @@RevZolution you won't dissapointed if you're after a sports tourer. As a complete package it's hard to beat. If you do get 1 the SOS can be a PITA-I had it on my 2nd 1200GS and it would very often bring a big error message up on the TFT which was just because it had lost the mobile signal. It is a good system as if you have an off the IMU detects this and the bike automatically calls BMW and they speak to you through a microphone in the switch to check if you're ok or if you need help so it'd be worth checking if they've updated the software so it doesn't keep distracting you before you decide if you want it or not. I've got the what3words app now which isn't quite as good as you have to use your phone to get help but it is free and doesn't distract you. Good luck 😉

    Nice review and you discussed a low speed u turn, albeit briefly. However, I don't know why you Brits don't cover weather protection from the front and rear mudguards in your reviews given your inclement weather. The rear mudguard on this bike look minimal.

    • @RevZolution
      @RevZolution  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. To be honest. I can't really comment on weather protection from the mudguards without being in bad weather, however if its raining you're going to get wet and even without a rear hugger the seat will keep the dirt from you as it'll go under the bike. But I'll try and mention it in my newer videos

    Hi, very comprehensive review.
    Any vibes with the mirrors?
    Any vibes at 4000 revs on foot pegs/ grips?
    Does it need a hugger to keep crap off

    • @RevZolution
      @RevZolution  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. I didn't notice any vibrations. I felt this bike was made very well and I'd happily own one. I didn't take it anywhere which got the bike dirty however, I think if you can find a nice carbon hugger it'll always be a nice addition 👌

    I think the base model without the quickshifter/blipper may be the best option for this bike and black the best colour.

    What's the advantage of a boxer twin over other twin engines?

    • @TheFlemmo123
      @TheFlemmo123 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very low center of mass, been in development for almost a century, pretty extreme torque numbers but first and foremost it is bmw's crown jewel. 🤣

      @@robertprosser6856 the massive cylinders sticking out like that should be enough to convince them to go with practicly any other configuration but bmw-fans wanted the boxer back when there were alterantive engines presented by BMW motorrad, (so I've been told)
