European Road Trip - Day 3 - Episode 16
Well here it is everyone, my European adventure, from the UK to Bosnia and many more places.
It was one if not the BEST road trip we've done on a motorcycle. 3,500 miles covered in three weeks.
This series is going to be EPIC and running for many months. I've got so much footage to upload. You're going to be there for the journey. I want you to experience as much as possible.
Some of you just can't do this kind of trip for many reasons, so sit back, grab a drink and for the foreseeable every Sunday join us on our adventure.
Please subscribe to my channel and help grow my community.
The amazing team at Crescent Yamaha, previously Honda have been supporting my channel from the start. Check out their site and if you're in the Southampton area, pop down for a FREE coffee and see what they have to offer.
I have also partnered up with SIZZAPP,
I have managed to get my followers 15% off their tracker with the code - RevZolution
This is an AMAZING motorcycle and Vehicle tracker - The video will be coming soon but check out their site in the meantime.

As you can see in all my recent videos, I ride with a Helite E-Turtle 2 Air Vest. I purchased this myself and Highly rate it as a nice safety blanket.
Helite have provided me with a spare cannister but have NOT paid me, therefore my reviews are my own. Please check out their website and also my video on the vest.

Another brilliant instalment! I love that part of the world.
@@SLUGZEE thank you. It's a cracking part of the world isn't it
The tunnel looked amazing, assuming 2 way traffic controlled by the lights. That Mountain View, wow! Epic trip, thanks for sharing.
@@drost582 yeah it's all controlled by the traffic lights. It's a brilliant experience going through, I'm glad you're enjoying it and thanks for watching. More to come
Love these big sport tourers. Ive had nakeds and adventure bikes, they're great, but have moved to a FJR 1300 and couldn't be happier. Just love the all day comfort and power. Those GTR's are beautiful, to me they make alot of sense if you're not going off road.
@@julianperry5141 definitely agree with you. For me it was a toss up between the FJR1300 and the GTR1400. It came down to the cost of insurance. GTR won due to it being cheaper. I still really like the FJR's
@@RevZolutionlooks like a great trip, I'm settling in to watch the whole tour. Cheers from NZ
Stunning bike ❤ I’m buying one! 😊
@@NetMillionaire it's a brilliant bike. I absolutely loved riding it.
The Ninja 650 is actually a sport bike, a sport touring bike to be specific. The term you're looking for is super sport, which it definitely is not. Also, you must not be familiar with motorcycle pricing if you believe 7 or 8 grand for a 650 is overpriced.
I really need to do something like this now...
@@sobek do it. You won't regret it. You'll regret not doing it. Thank you for watching 😊
Incredible scenery and roads! Holly did really well 👍🏼
@@svenwhothehell5980 thank you ☺️

@@SLUGZEE thank you. The series will carry on for many many months, we're only a few days in ☺️
What great scenery to ride in! Holly is a lot better rider then she gives herself credit for.
@@drost582 she is, she needs to believe in herself more. The scenery only gets better from here on in
Fair review ,I already own a Vulcan S & enjoy it so muchnit prompted me to start a channel about it but still enjoy hearing other riders' perspectives about it Cheers
@@SwenglishSteve650 that's great to hear, I've just subscribed to your channel. I'll start watching your content
@RevZolution That's appreciated mate thank you
How much did this bike cost you? And if you didn’t pay for it what do you reckon it sells for?
@brooft6977 I purchased it just under £6k with 2,000 miles on it. Which was the lowest mileage one I found. They still go for 4 to 6k depending on age and mileage
I spent alot of time looking for a 1st gen before I bought mine. Absolutley love it.
@@DinoSchumacher same here. It's a brilliant bike and having taken it on the trip I did the only thing I did change on it was add bar risers. It's now even more comfortable
What a epic trip. With the highway going through the mountains it looks similar to riding in BC, Canada.
@@drost582 it's a fantastic trip and it only gets better now. The videos will have more and more impressive scenery
I’m finding your videos a bit short can you please make them longer. I just get into it and it over. Loving the trip. I have a 1400 GTR and love it.
@@stephenrichards4962 thanks for watching ☺️ I will put out a few longer videos, my only issue is at the moment the longer videos don't keep people watching for long. But I feel very grateful that I do have people watching my channel like yourself who are enjoying my trip and want the videos to be longer. ☺️
The smile and love you is every womans way of getting there own way haha! Brilliant once again!
@@SLUGZEE 🤣 definitely. Thanks for watching☺️
Enjoying your tour.. just a quick one, how are you mounting your devices? You’ve probably done a separate video? I’ve got a GTR1400 (recent purchase), they’re a bit awkward for device mounts. I’ve got a quadL that fastens to brake mounting but it’s too close for me. You appear to have something centered?
@@svenwhothehell5980 thanks for checking out the videos. I went to AliExpress and purchased a handle bar extension mount. It goes on the end of the bar inside and gives you a few inches of space to place mounts. It's the only thing I could find that would work on the GTR. I'll make a video and explain how and where I mount bits to the bike. Keep an eye out for it.
@ you’ll do for me, thanks 👍🏼
I was in two minds wether to go with the touring over the performance - I think I’ll go for the touring after watching this and swap the exhaust for something louder at a later date
@@aqilchachia817 definitely a good decision 👍
Found you wanting on reasons for Why this bike? Super Smooth versus the RT’s vibration? Faster? More hooligan when you feel like it?
@@geoffcrossley8344 so I ride the RT daily and it's a fantastic bike however, the K1600 is far smoother, more power and a better ride. Given the choice, I would chose the K1600 if I were to do a lot of distance, but I would chose the RT if I didn't and just done distance every now and again.
I used my Goldwing around Rome, from the periphery into the centre and back, and dont recall ever NOT having music on… try it !
Sorry to break it to you..... but.... the 3.0i has better economy and everything else!!!
Loving that Tiger guys awesome touring bikes I have the 955i model and it is so comfortable to ride I'm two up my 16 year old son with me enjoying the trip keep up the great work 😊

Honda uses km because the metric system is WAY superior to imperial. Much easier to use and understand. I mean even the drug dealers in the US makes use of grams.
CP2's shift very smoothly maybe your clutch cable needs to be adjusted?
Hello. How did you get the top daytime running light working?
@@davidmorris9526 it comes on with the sidelights when you put them on. I think it looks pretty good
@RevZolution thanks for the reply my z4 doesn't have the side bumper lights
Once a week is not enough! I look forward to seeing the rest of this trip.
@@SLUGZEE I'll be uploading a video on Boxing day....half an hour special. Thanks for watching, really appreciate it
Got a great deal on the NC750X from Blade Motorcycles.
Did 13500 kilometres end of October into November about four weeks, on my 2010 GTR, from near Perth WA to Cairns in Queensland through the blue mountains back to Perth. through extreme heat (42C +) and thunderstorms, had a tyre change in Cairns due to rear tyre looking like a car tyre ( square ) and the front deformed due to heat and some long straight roads, that was the only problem I had. My bike now has approx. 120000 ks on it now, fantastic it is
@@DavidCarse-sn2rq that's awesome 😎 I'm going to be coming to Perth next year for a few weeks so I'll be making a video over there when I rent a bike 😊
I started watching the video and was like, no traction control? It's from 2007, that makes complete sense! My own GTR is from 2011 and has linked brakes, abs and traction control, bought it in February of this year with 25000km on it, it's just great. It looks great, it drives great, it sounds great and it has great fuel consumption, it loves drinking fuel when you open that throttle but there's nothing on that bike i would want to change. Aside from cruise control, everything else is just perfect. Obviously it's also an old bike by now, 13 years old so i've changed the indicators to led switchbacks and led headlights and the works but aside from that it retains its old but slightly modern look. But for power? It has a shaft drive which cuts down some of its power but it's barely noticeable when you want to experience all the bike has to offer.
Thank you so much for this video they look great
Almost missed this video. For some reason it's one of two videos hidden in your "European Road Trip" playlist. All of the videos are great by the way!
@@r2c9y that's strange, I'm glad you found it. Thanks for watching and there are a lot more to come on this series.

That looks so much like the roads we have here, other side of pond, in places and summer.
@@drost582 I hope you're enjoying the series 😊
@@RevZolution always a pleasure to see other parts of the world. Holly seems to be a very good rider, she is too judgmental of her own abilities.
I've had both NC750x DCT and Tracer 7 GT. The Yamaha is lighter and therefore more agile. The NC750X hits the rev limiter far too early.
Its just a french thing that they cannot drive properly lol. Loving the series so far

@@911928944 very wise choice 👌
I like the way people look suprised and smile when they see you. I got 108mpg when i went from Scotland to Interlaken in Switzerland. Mainly country roads when i left Dieppe. I average 80/90 mpg regular 30 k miles in 2 years :)
you mention street cred, that's the problem with riders in the UK and America. I have a honda forza 125cc it has great wind protection, 120 MPG, great storage. it will do 79 mph for me these scooters are a no brainer the bike snobbery really does my head in
@@wantsomefries the Forza is a brilliant bike, I loved riding it. Disappointing people in cars that think...oh look, moped and then they get smoked 😂 however, front wheel trikes........ Great bike but no, not for me. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated 👍
