May I make a recommendation? Video idea: 10 heart warming moments from "insert wrestling personality here." The Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton spots genuinely made me smile. It could be a series that touches on things inside and outside the ring.
The best part of the William Regal one was how he tried to get back into character by wiping his boots on the apron but just couldn't do it. Like, how do you go back after breaking like that.
i don't know if this counts, but what about the time Mick Foley wrestled a match as himself on RAW while in the middle of a feud with stone cold, Foley was portraying Dude Love at the time and stone cold was even on commentary
The Rock breaking character during his heel Hollywood gimmick to go over to a disabled fan was pretty great as well. 3MB breaking character was funny as hell.
At the end of the day, wrestlers are still people. No matter how evil or assholish their heel persona is, they can't help themselves being nice if they were good people to begin with.
The limo exploding happened here in Wilkes Barre, PA Mohegan Sun Arena. Problem is they didnt inform local law and fire of their plan. And was recorded a day before.. Locals called 911 to say something exploded in the arena parking lot
I'd like to add to Randy Orton breaking character: I think it was against Roman Reigns, but the camera suddenly cut to Orton, blowing a kiss to his wife because he thought he was off camera. And you know what? It actually really works for his character and made him super creepy.
This dude that I know, he went to a WWE show with his fiancé, and they stuck around to meet the wrestlers after the show. Randy Orton came by for hand shakes and pics and offered his fiancé a ride in his car which she accepted. Needless to say, they didn't get married.
