The best part of when Jerry Lawler was eliminated is he starts a sentence while on commentary, goes in and gets eliminated, comes back to commentary, and immediately finished the sentence like nothing happened.

@@mrgbulldozer1384 I mean I’d say he was someone on the cusp but never really reaching that point. Everyone has that one match or moment that cements you. Daniel Bryan’s riding of the Yes Movement to winning the gold at wrestlemania, Steve Austin cutting the 3:16 promo, Becky Lynch getting her nose broken and becoming the man ... there is always a moment you can point to and it made the characters into stars.
What do you mean they can't build a new star? Aside from Drew McIntyre they build The Shield, The Fiend, New Day, The 4 Horsewomen, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss among others.
2017 should have been Enzo charging down to the ring, hyping up, before Brock Lesnar murders him.

I still love the perfect reaction of the entire audience to it clearly being a setup for Goldberg, as Not-Goldberg's music plays instead. And is then promptly eliminated to get back on the expected script.

Brock's elimination was a STAR MAKING moment
And it was all his idea. He’s one of Drew’s biggest supporters and if Brock likes you then he’ll make you look a million dollars. Brock’s input is valued, and he was asked who should win, and he said Drew, but he has to eliminate me. The whole stare down after the elimination, all Brock, and it put Drew over big time.

Agreed. It looked really painful the way Slaughter went so hard into the corner. Made Sid look like a monster too which was good.

Drew's elimination of Brock in last year's Rumble really is, imo, the best elimination ever. Brock's rampage early on really made the impact of his elimination better.
Great list as always and hopefully we get another memorable Royal Rumble later!

The build up, the pop, the push Drew got made that elimination one of the best
Singlehandedly set the entirety of 2020 WWE into motion. Absolutely a masterpiece.
@@crazilybusy The blueprint in creating a new top star in WWE. Batista, Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels have all benefited from it but Drew's story is really the first time in a LONG time that a star is made through the Rumble.
I personally loved Michael's double elimination of Rated RKO in the 2007 Rumble. The Roar of that crowd when it happened was incredible, which then lead to Michaels and Undertaker down, Undertaker sits up, Michaels kip ups. It was the start of the greatest ending in Rumble history.
That Bushwhacker spot is easily my favorite “comedy” spot. Ever. So nonchalantly gets dumped over.
92 Rumble, Sgt Slaughter's elimination. It's in my top 3, nobody ever talks about it.

I think a nice video for next year Rumble Season would be "top 10 Royal Rumble undercards" where you rank the 10 best Royal Rumble PPVs solely by how good their card is aside from the Royal Rumble match (or you could do the more simple version of 10 best normal matches on Royal Rumble PPVs)
Top ten underrated undercard matches from all the ppvs would be good too

I don't understand why 2003 is such an underrated Rumble. The pacing was wild, the storytelling was great, and I felt like there was nonstop energy from start to finish.
It's a nice rumble, but it's not as memorable as the ones from the same decade
I loved this list. And thank you for NOT including the GRR. That was a publicity stunt, not a real RR. All true fans know that a RR kicks off WM season. I do NOT like it when the WWE includes the stats from the GRR when comparing it to other RRs. 👍

Braun's Elimination in 2019 was pretty cool. I'm surprised they don't do ring apron duels in battle royals that often, it builds the suspense more

Honorary mention to HBK eliminating Rated RKO in '07. It looked objectively cool and it led to that fantastic mini match between him and Taker.
The 2010 Rumble one was so good it was cut from the video
I know a lot of final eliminations are on here already, but Del Rio's elimination of Santino was pretty great, especially the way Santino sold it and rolled all the way over
The santino elimination will always be the funniest.
Fun Fact, Maven was sorta plastered when he eliminated Taker. Taker wanted him to bleed for their angle after his elimination, but Maven was allergic to aspirin to make him bleed easier. So next thing was undertaker's favorite thing, whiskey.
There's just something different about lists with Adam as the narrator. He seems to have the charisma as about 1/4 of The Rock which is still more than any average man.

Lesnar doesn’t get nearly enough credit for how well he can sell.
Look at him take that kick and try not to love it.
One of my favorite Rumble moments was Mil Mascaras not understanding the rules of the Rumble and just dove into an opponent on the outside. 1997 Royal Rumble.
And my absolute favorite was a combined attack between Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley), Sami Zayn, and Baron Corbin on Braun Strowman. The top rope dropkick, corner elbow, and the Helluva Kick to stun Strowman enough for Baron to absolutely *BLAST* him over the top rope was just beautifully done. 2017 Royal Rumble.

Brock going over the top rope is just one of my favorite sells. Every time it happens, he just moves so fluidly.

2018 was the overall best rumble imo. Just works out it was the 1st rumble my kids ever watched and they fell in love with wrestling.
They were hanging on my every word in 2020 relieved Brock finally got eliminated, but seeing “Rocksteady from TMNT” get eliminated they still love rewinding and seeing.

Man, they can pull out a great comedy spot. All the way back to 89 with Andre, they can deliver genuine laughs in the Rumble.

For me, the greatest was Undertaker in 1991 by LOD. That pop was massive and he looked completely unstoppable up to that point.

I remember in the 08 Rumble match when Shelton did his high jump superplex and once he got up and celebrated was met with Sweet Chin Music sending him over the top rope. Hilarious and always gets me.

I love the rumble concept and watch it every year and probably quit wwe day to day for it's constant predictability ruining it for me or them not having enough possible winners to effect what may seem obvious. That's just a rant though this list was good, great editing job!
Not only was Drew eliminating Brock such an awesome moment. But it also created a mega star in the business. Pretty damn awesome.

4:10 i think from a kayfabe perspective, it was because Vader was already eliminated and thus him coming back in and eliminating HBK was completely unfair. think about it, if that was allowed then any members of any stable during a rumble could eliminate everyone else to have their still legal partner win the Royal Rumble

This was a cool video I really enjoyed watching, my favorite was seeing Daniel Bryan get eliminated and Kane did not want to help him get back in the ring.

A good elimination from 2015 was Damien Mizdow. In-ring alone, it's absolutely nothing special, but his mockery of MIz's reaction was golden.
The 2020 Men's Rumble belongs right up there alongside 1992 and 2001.
I was at the 2010 Royal Rumble which was awesome not sure if it was the best Rumble or not but it sure was a good one... Especially seeing one of my fav returning & winning EDGE... That was a decent card as well
2011 - Is Satino's elimination. For a few seconds we thought he actually won the rumble and thats a crazy alternative universe I would like to live in.

I think it was the 1992 rumble where Sgt. Slaughter hits the turnbuckle stomach first and bounces over the top rope. Its so funny I remember watching it repeatedly.
The moment when John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, and Crispin Wall pull off their signature finishers on the Big Show and then collectively toss him out was awesome.

While not an elimination, I like the time Hornswoggle hit the Celtic Cross on Kofi Kingston.
The Foley Pop in 2004 was wild!
Seth Rollins's Catapult on Cesaro to eliminate him in the 2018 Men's Rumble match deserves an honorable mention.

People can be critical of Brock Lesnar for his part timer status, but god damn when he wants to work he's one of the best. His selling of the Claymore and the elimination is a thing of beauty, he can make someone look like a million bucks whilst still looking beastly.
What amazes me of Brock's elimination is that he *barely* uses the top rope to go over it...he JUST touches it...and yet, with little momentum, goes over it like if it was a clothesline
He's an athletic freak no doubt
