Eye and ear protection is a must. No exceptions. Nice rifle.

These are just factory Remington rounds off the shelf @ $40/box of 20 ea. It's time to get me a reloader! I zero at 75 yds and get consistent bench groups w iron sights. My longest hunting shot was 50 yards right on the money. My closest was at 20 yards dead run diagonal to me in heavy brush. The short overall length with iron sights makes for a fast draw and unobstructed shot. I really like the power of this gun in a package that is not overstated. I call it 'the bear gun'. lol

Do you load the GG with "trap door loads" or "lever action loads"?
It looks like you were shooting the factory 405gr. from Remington.

I like it because it is a second safety system. If I give this gun to someone else to use, it's another failsafe. But when I'm hunting in the field, I have it on fire so that my only safety is the halfcock safety. I shot my first deer with this in dense brush. He suprized me, was at a dead run and I only had a second to draw, aim and fire. The cross bolt just takes too long when you need to be in the ready position. But on the range, I'm in favor of it.

I just bought this gun (1895G) and looked around for a dis-assembly / cleaning / re-assembly video specifically for this model. None found. Any chance I could talk you into doing one?
