You can block it off or you can also keep the pump reservoir empty I think I do a proper delete because it looks a lot more cleaner and piece of mind I know I fully delete the pump You can started the pump of oil as long as you mix your gas correctly

I bought a yamaha blaster recently with the oil delete how do you check your gear oil for the transmission
Theirs a side glass on the clutch cover u can see the oil there
80weight transmission oil
On left bttm it’s a glass shield sometimes it’s dirty make sure your oil level shows at half of glass shield

How does this not cause any issues?
The oil pump goes out a lot of times and people don’t know so they end up just running straight gas into the bike
