    In regards to the loose cylinder head - Someone made a really good point that the OEM studs may have a midsection that is thicker and that that is why the holes seemed too large in my cylinder head. I do have OEM studs on hand and I tested this - the OEM studs do have a midsection that is not threaded but it is not thicker than the all thread studs I used. Here is the OEM stud part number - 90116-08394-00 - You can see in pictures the OEM stud actually appears to be thinner in the unthreaded section. The more you know.

    • @shoominati23
      @shoominati23 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be, as if the bolt is thicker in the midsection - it creates a stress riser that will mean you will have a heartbreaking snapped bolt after a rebuild or two

    Bearings should always be tapped in with a one piece tool that fits the OD of the bearing, they make installer kits. Seals always get installed with the flat surface facing away from the liquid. Bearings all have numbers on them, it is usually universal and can me looked up on the internet for size. I worked at a two cycle motor shop when I was school, I machined and rebuilt motors all day long, usually 4-6 per day depending on the motor. I learned fast to check parts before assembly. The “Philips” head screws are actually JA screws, look the same but require a different driver.

    You’ve helped me with my Yamaha blaster build. It isn’t done yet I actually just took it all apart getting it ready for a paint job and waiting for the plastics to come in and a oem carb.
    But informational wise, your the man 💯%

    Thank you for being so honest and real. Even if every build turned out to be crap, your honesty is invaluable. Thanks for what you have done for the community.

    I been with you since 45k subs. I liked watching your builds cuz it was the same stuff I did years ago. I said it back when I started watching keep doing your thing and you'll go as far as you want.
    I would run that thing as is and see how does then tear back down and do your flywheel, porting and performance work.
    It would showcase what ya get on a budget and what ya can have with alil time, effort and patience.

    Mr. Sabo I really appreciate you attention to detail and all these builds. My 13yr old son and I enjoy these videos and he is itching for me to return from Korea to find a quad for him.

    That china stator, drw case savor and oil fill cap are worth talking about. I just finished rebuilding my son's blaster with the hot rods crank kit, ken o conner head and counter balancer and weisco piston kit. Ken oconner has a really good build video but I like seeing your different methods. Good job Mike 👍
