Some important tips that new owners need to be aware of with this chainsaw. The manual does not list the chain size. Use the ID number for the bar model you have to find out how many link chain you need. It should be a 3/8 pitch and .050 with your bar size determining how many links the chain should be. Also, very important to check and adjust the valve lash, spark plug gap, as well as the carburetor. low and high adjustment screws. The tool you need is called an A circle adjuster tool.

I have the same saw mine leaked almost all of the bar and chain oil over a 3 month period of sitting on the shelf

I had mine replaced free of charge because of that very reason. Only a couple drops have leaked since it was replaced.
