Senix 46cc 4 cycle 16-inch Chainsaw Valve Adjustment How-To

The Senix 4 cycle chainsaw requires NO mixing of gas and oil, but it does require some knowledge about adjusting the overhead valves. I went with a pretty standard lash of .006 since there is no tech data provided in the manual. When I first opened the valve cover, I found the intake valve had NO gap at all, while the exhaust valve had well under .006. Hoping for the best with this machine as I know it seems to have a lot of bad press about it.

Once you have it running make sure and adjust the carb under load. Mine kept stalling until I adjusted the high idle setting. Now it runs pretty great!
