  • Today, I do a review of the SENIX 16” 46cc CS4QL-L3 four-stroke chainsaw after approximately 4 months of ownership. I gave it a hard time there in the beginning by saying it’s a piece of junk, it’s actually pretty decent. I guess I just wanted you guys to know that it wasn’t a quality saw.

I’m not a professional reviewer, but I’m sure I would have taken a minute or two to put this saw into some wood to show how it performs its actual function. I’m sure there’s other channels with a cut test.

Yeah, I forgot to mention in the video that the straight pipe just made it a bit louder at full throttle and sound just a little cooler at idle.

I know that this thing is crankcase oiled.. but i'd still be tempted to put a splash of good oil like Saber in the gas to ensure the rings are getting what they need. I'm sure they still run plated aluminium cylinders and bare aluminium pistons.
    Needs a cam 😈

I’ll change the oil with better oil this Spring.

Surprisingly, no. These have a steel cylinder liner in them.

@@mattfleming86 Yip, other than that, these are basically GX31 engines without the oil slinger and reed valve.

I never took the pull cord/rope out. Just replaced the handle. Ask google or look in your owner’s manual for that info.

It looks like it is uncomfortably heavy for its power. 😂. I will take my 170 please.

It’s a bit heavy, yeah, but it’s not like it’s something I use all the time
