    Great video, I was always dreaming of having one myself. I‘m not an owner (yet) but this makes it even harder to decide whether or not to buy under the current light of events. It’s such a great car.

      @user-eo4ce4rg9j, 😂😂 What you're saying is true. I was walking in a grocery store one day and this man seemed to linger every time I turned around, right behind me. About 20 minutes later, he casually "bumps" into me and was eager to ask me all about the vehicle I had parked. He had been so curious, he had followed me in hopes of finding out all about this gem, Ocean One. 🙌🏻
      Of course, I was much obliged to discuss.
      And I do believe the new term my teenager said in terms of what you just said in your comment, is called "gate keeping", sir! 😂 (And I'm not saying I disagree).😂

    Bravo on your video! I spent a weekend before last, watching as many Fisker reviews and experiences as I could fit in the time I had.. By Sunday afternoon, I was "Fisker'd" out. The more negative reviews I watched, the more I wanted one of these unique vehicles. I purchased the Ocean Extreme on the following Monday and we couldn't be happier!
    I spent my time negating all the points of the negative videos and debunked them for myself. There are those who know that bad news sells newspapers and that's how they make their living. There's the guy who made TWO videos to make sure he buries this car. His big complaint was how the Bluetooth disconnected Three times during his trip. That's a Bluetooth issue...it is not a perfect technology and maybe his iPhone is out of date. Also, as I work in the electronics and computer systems field, I get this car! One has to not relate it as much to a traditional car, but rather to a computer with wheels, much like the cell phone is a small computer that can also make phone calls.
    The system works fast in my opinion. Every car manufacturer has had their quirks. These naysayers are the same people that complain about their TV not scanning the image fast enough for game playing, or their cell phone not giving directions on the navigation fast enough, but they are on their phone for a call and have music playing in the background on an app. Bottom line is that this car is amazing.

      @jkaiserling, congratulations on your new Ocean Extreme! 🌊✨ I know exactly what you're talking about, in regards to negativity. And the misinformed two reviews given were cruel, because the "reviewer's" popularity gave him unquestioned credibility from his followers, and thus, the large mass of views, drew attention to folks that weren't followers, who didn't know any difference, and assumed that a TH-camr surely would not be releasing a "review" with malicious intent?
      However, I can't see it as anything else. It was filled with lies. I mean, one simple lie, that I intend on covering in the next video or so, is the claim that all updates that were to be installed, had to be installed manually by a tech. 🤔 It wouldn't take long for anyone to look that up and figure it that it simply wasn't true. 🤷🏻‍♀️
      Anyway. Very happy that you're happy with your car! And you do make a fantastic point. This tech-advanced car is really like getting a new cell phone. Along the way, we all learned how to properly operate swipe functions on phones instead of qwerty, and use tap payment instead of physical money, just to name a couple of obvious "advanced" parallels, and so forth.

    new Fisker owner, concur with your review. We got ours with 2.0 already installed. I suspect things would have been worse with previous software versions, but so far so good! Even if company goes under it was too good to pass up for the discounted price. This is my fourth EV, the first three were Teslas. My first Tesla model S (2013) definitely had some early production/soft ware issues (the last two had no issues whatsoever). My take is that the Fiskers are already way better than the early Teslas. It's sad to see the bashing by people who don't have first hand experience. What's worse is that some of the reviews complain about things that are just simple if you read the manual as you pointed out.

      @esrandl, exactly. I agree. Glitches, for a lack of a better description, were to be expected, in the company. But I didn't come out of this empty handed. I have a beautiful car that drives beautifully.
      I totally agree with your sentiment. I do believe, owners are aware of the status and situation of Fisker. I don't believe owners are living in any sort of denial. We're just here, moseying about our own way, enjoying the ride. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Great video, nice too see a regular jo having a blast with his FOO, and without serious issues. I own a Tesla Model S 75D (2018), we are kind of browsing for a new car. Every damn car forum gives me the same picture: All EVs have some sort of issues, not a single one without.
    My Model S is actually much laggier than what is presented here. Not to mention the reboot function, that can take anywhere between 5-8 mins, and everything just resets (AC, radio, bt, wifi…), after the reboot, it would take another 2-4 mins for the LTE to reconnect. This here feels a lot more responsive and snappier. And it seems to me, at first glance, to have much more, detailed, settings that can be changed. My Model S cannot have two phones connected at the same time :D for example.
    I mean, if there are real issues, then they should be talked about, the company should be aware, they should improve their product and show that they care. It’s a real damn shame that the company is in the state it is now, it seems like it has a direct effect on the software developers & testers as well, these updates should be comming at a weekly basis. That would signal to the owners that they are still «alive & aware».
    Every EV today has some issues, but the difference with others is that they have a way to service them + the warranty. This is what scares potential customers in regards to Fisker. It’s amazin to see that you can drive the FOO for 10.000 miles without issues, but what IF Fisker goes BK, and my car starts to have these or more serious issues, what then?. What if another car bumps into my FOO, and I need replacement parts? Where to get those?» Ect… My Tesla, now, has no warranty :) So I would not mind getting a FOE instead, even if they went BK. But the difference, once again is, my Tesla can still be repaired. Expensive, yes, but I can easily find a shop to purchase/change parts.
    I really hope Fisker manages to survive, somehow. This car has true potential, both the car itself and the FiskerOS software! And it would be a shame if they could not find a partner or a new owner.

      Well said.
      It's nice to hear Kudos about Fiskers product from an experienced Tesla owner.
      I agree that no EV is perfect, they all have their flaws. Everything comes at a price and compromises must be made.
      My opinions about the Fisker Ocean is, that this car is built to last.
      A few items from third party vendors might have been poor choices, but they are working to solve this.
      I'm here thinking about the lights on the back seat that might have a mind of their own. And the air deflectors in front of the wheels.
      I already have thoughts about solutions to these if we lose Fisker.
      MAGNA can still provide power train parts, and CATL battery components so I'm not too worried about that. Body panels a little more, but they're are already a few on salvage yards from accidents, so to a degree we should be able to help our selves there too, as long as we don't all need the same part.
      I see great improvements between the 3 software versions I have had. And I'm hopeful that we will all very soon see 3.0.
      Version 2.0 improved the T-Mobile data function, and future OTA updates should happen with fewer people having trouble.
      They say there should be no need to update in several pieces like they had to with 2.0, to reduce the risks of errors.
      I would imagine that Fisker is aiming to get as many cars out there with 4.0 installed as possible, to show what this car can do. And hopefully drown out the few keyboard warriors and TH-cam influencers/"reviewers" who are intentionally hurting the company.
      Plus if Fisker manages to do the right thing to the end. Take care of customers, and delivery the software updates. Then I think a potential chapter 11 bankruptcy judge would would be more on the side of Fisker the company, than the creditors, in the name of protecting the customers who bought a product.
      Best of luck in your endeavors of selecting your next EV.

    Some content is just that for entertainment and views. Then there's the regular guy like you that just likes his choice in vehicle. I have no EV however THIS one would definitely be my first electric vehicle. I think they are very sharp and have so many untapped capabilities. I need one in my driveway ASAP

This car feels so incredibly high tech when you turn it on, it makes a really cool startup alert. I'll see if I can make a video in the next day or so for you. You have got to hear it. Very cool.

    Not in my price range but I just adore the design and styling of it. It has software issues but it was in beta. Such a shame but I wonder if some motivated by hating on new entrants

      @ianrob4760, I do wonder, exactly what you said. It seems awfully suspicious sometimes, when you see folks giving reviews that don't know how to run the car, for example, but have a following. Not that the world is fair, but that's really a bad starting position, in regards to the reviewer.

      @@OG_Fisker My car I got was the MG4 which was over the Cupra born (shows the price range I was in). I always go for I consider style. I do think that reviewer and others have motivations I have found auto EV are the fairest and best reviewers but not done the Ocean.

      How does the MG4 compare to the Cupra Born. I thought about getting the Cupra for my Mom. She always Seat's, and I believe the Cupra is an offspring from Seat.
      Anyhow I never got to try any of those two, so if you have any good info, please do tell.

      Stupid in what way? They didn't buy one because they knew Fisker would go bankrupt again and support for the Ocean would become zero and become bricks, unable to insure, no spares.
      That is the stupid people? Really? Says a lot about what YOU are then still defending a nightmare!

    The behavior of some TH-camrs and even mainstream media is so skewed against Fisker that it is suspicious. It's as if there is an organized attempt to drive Fisker into bankruptcy. I've had a deposit on a CyberTruck for a couple of years. Even though the launch of the CyberTruck has been worse than for the Fisker Ocean, you wouldn't know it from TH-cam or the media. The Fisker Ocean is a remarkable car considering it is Fisker's first vehicle and it has only been out a few months. Its build quality is already demonstrably better than Tesla's in many ways. The software bugs are no worse than the CyberTruck's even though Tesla has had decades to work out product launch kinks added to the fact that Tesla has almost unlimited resources as one of the richest companies on Earth.

    Fisker is a perfect example of why the SEC needs to regulate shorting stocks. They employ any strategies, even making a company go bankrupt for the purpose of shorting the stock. If that's the case, SHOULD COMPANIES EVEN GO PUBLIC ANYMORE? SEC needs to better regulate 🐻‍❄🐻‍❄

      @daintyminnie9270, totally agree with you. Another Ocean Owner put up a video as a rebuttal. However, he told me he was given death threats and scary stalker events started happening, in terms of cyber bullying and other dangerous things. He took the video down.
      It makes it difficult to counter the lies produced and created, for malicious intent, by those who don't own an Ocean, know nothing of the car, have not read the manual, pretend to be experts in an arena they are not, and set the record straight.
      It's one thing to not like a vehicle and explain, why, in a video, with validity. (I don't think the Fisker Ocean is going to be the perfect answer or fit for everyone- there are many great cars out there, along with different needs and preferences). But it appears that, often, it's a review from a person, who is, almost angry at the car or company, from the get-go, before they've even given it a chance.
      I hope to release more videos in the next few days that will address this point,exactly.

    I'm just over 4,000 miles on my Ocean One, and really like the car. I actually learned something new from this video - I didn't realize the door handles could be pushed in to open, if they ever got stuck (that's never happened to me). And now that my key fob was updated, the unlock button actually works on the 1st press consistently. So many reviewers just trying to get clicks with b.s. reviews, and many of them don't even know how to use the car.

      10k+ miles and every single one is smooth and comfortable.

    I had high hopes for Fisker but after the 2.0 update my FOO unexpectedly shuttering to a stop (no rhyme or reason and very random)? Fisker isn't answering service tickets so for now my POS FOO is getting parked as I can't trust it not to stop on the freeway.

      They have always answered my calls. Sometimes I had to wait 30 minutes for an answer, but they always answer. And even if I got disconnected after they answered, the person would call me right back.
      They did tell me that they prefer calls over emails though.
      I'd say, first or last part of the day seems to have less waiting times.
      Give them a call, put it on speaker, while you read the news or watch a movie. I'm sure they still want to fix your car.
      Fisher needs to have as many satisfied customers as possible. That includes fixing broken cars, and installing 3.0 and 4.0 software on all the cars, to show that they delivered what was promised.
      That will help enticing investors, buyers and even a judge overseeing a possible chapter 11.
      The more right things Fisker does now, the greater their chances for the future will be.

      @derrickconnor940, I'm so sorry to hear that. When you say Fisker isn't answering your tickets, are you able to get ahold of someone on the phone, and just not able to get anyone to schedule a service or unable to receive a status update on your tickets? I'm just curious, because I didn't have that experience. I did have to wait for the parts to be shipped when I had my Ocean serviced for the vents, so my tickets were open for a little, but I haven't experienced what you're talking about.
      For what it's worth, I'll try and send a tag over to a Fisker with your handle. I don't have any ties to the company, but hopefully two people reaching out might grab attention. It can't hurt.
      Again, I'm so sorry for your experience. I hope you can be made whole again, as soon as possible, and have the up and running.

      The update didn't complete. Someone in the Ocean forum had similar experience. Tech came put and redid the update and the user said all problems went away. If you say your car is dead, you get priority

    The 2 seconds of delay after you press a button before the screen responds tells me that’s it’s too laggy. Especially 7 years down the road when all the ram on the computer is gone.

      The good thing is that federal investigations actually do happen.
      This helps keep businesses in check and everyone safer.

      So far the software has been improving in great strides. So I'm expecting that to get better still.
      And Fisker is developing a new dedicated computer to run the whole car.
      It can be installed in existing cars, and should be both faster and consume less energy than the current setup.

    All of the “promised” features that are still missing… and yet you don’t complain. People like YOU that bury their heads in the sang and pretend everything is fine are the issue here. We need MORE people who are not afraid to speak up. You’re obviously an owner, obviously you don’t want to believe you made a massive mistake by buying this vehicle. But you did. Fisker will be bankrupt. Fisker will not honour those promises features. These vehicles will be massive issues in 1 year. 2 years. Where will you go to repair issues? The software is a mess now, when fisker is around. What about when they are gone?
    The amount of errors these garbage piles get on the regular is sickening. They rushed these things out when they were not ready. And the customer pays for it
