The stages of grief are recurring. My technician messaged me over a week ago saying he would be at my house tomorrow. I have messaged him to confirm. No reply.
Disappointed and enraged at both Henrik Fisker and myself.
This video is the nail in the ⚰️.
Who’s ur tech where are u located?
Thanks for the feedback! I hope you get your service soon!
Henrik was looking to flip the company in the bubble. There was never an intention to slug it out as a real company.
1. Lack of delivery logistics
2. Lack of servicing
3. Leasing buildings instead of buying
4. Asset light manufacturing
5. Zero real advertising
6. Lack of testing.
It’s all clear now. Too late, unfortunately.
This is absolutely correct.
Calm down guys he will start a 4th electric car company in a few years
Already placed my reservation.
The Risker Lotion
yea im sure there is another predator out there whos willing to give him a loan
I owned a DeLorean for a long time. It wasn't easy to maintain. When Fisker made the Ocean and the Sport was technically a $30k vehicle with the tax rebate at the time, which I did get, it seemed very similar to my DeLorean risk calculations. There will always be people willing to work on a vehicle with 5000+ cars on the road. It'll cost money, yes, but I figured if the company doesn't last, then at least I own a pretty rare, modern car that might have some pain to maintain, but it'll be a gun journey. Like when I got to drive the DeLorean in the Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade, there will also be really cool moments with the ownership, like meeting the technician who finally got my car unbricked after 2.0. He was super cool, and I really appreciate talking to him and learning more about the inner workins at Fisker. But, don't buy this car if you need a reliable car to drive ... and don't park this car directly behind another car in the garage in case it gets bricked. One of my concerns is when Adam or the other youtubers tire of this car and move onto the Canoo or some other more interesting new car and we lose our Fisker resources.
I’ll always report on Fisker. No matter what.
He's not an unbiased resource.
I will say, as excited as I was about taking delivery of this car - and quite frankly, as happy as I have been with it in my ownership - the biggest let down for me in terms of undelivered features is the Power Bank. That was a HUGE part of my decision making process when sorting through all the options because I live in a fairly remote area that loses power often. This was a great way for me to avoid the cost and headache of installing a generator. I'm just gonna keep driving this thing until I can't.
I appreciate you sharing your experience, Cheers!
Ever since my interest in Fisker started, I’ve bought a Fisker, received a Fisker and now drive a Fisker - the common denominator to all of this, that prevails even today, is that I’m waiting. Constantly waiting…order, deposit, customize several hundred times, quarterly shareholder meetings, start production, homologation, shipping, delivery, software, and now Fisker is unwinding like a clock, and guess what - I’m still waiting, for an answer.
Well put. Thanks for sharing this
As crazy as it sounds, there is now a Fisker dealer in Los Angeles!
Good to know!
There is one in Inglewood and Culver City Los Angeles that should be able to start service by next Friday
@@mag.yt818do you happen to have the address of each location? Or cross streets
@@guestlisttonight8337 no
is there an address? is there a phone number? is this another one of fisker's lies?
I don't know the US post sales situation, in the UK where i just had a FO test drive and spoke to head of sales operation. I was informed in the UK atleast several partner service stations are opening up so that if the worst should happen since they are independant of Fisker they are tooled/trained to keep the cars running. Also regarding parts, since the Magna production halt and Fisker Austria bankruptcy the pre-ordred parts for production (that is no longer happening) will be made available for existing owners, Fisker just need to arrange distribution of these parts. I agree things don't look great but this is a company that is trying to stay afloat with a what i think is a very well made car that drives surprisingly well compared to my Tesla MY. If you own one of these i don't think it's the end of the world and Fisker seem to be putting in a contingency plan (albeit not making it well known)
I hope everything is works out for the company, and people can get parts.
Is that you Henrik posting under an alias?
Commendably optimistic.
Where did you go to get the test drive? Coz MK is showing as temporarily closed and London lounge is permanently.
@@dentheplodder I turned up to the London lounge a week after it closed, calle FISKER and in all fairness they were apologetic/embarrassed so they offered to have a FO driven to my home to test drive. Not sure if they'll do that for everyone but worth a try
Adam, you do definately the best and deepest analysis around Fisker! Great job!!! I was in Jesolo last weekend, which is at the coast in northern Italy and parked the car on the main street. In Jesolo there you can see all Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche etc. in that street. But the Fisker Ocean had a lot attention of these "motoristi" and I have got very positive comments from them. And many of them did not hear about all the woes of the company - they liked the car. I totally agree with all your thoughts on the company, the failures, the missmanagement, the software, but the design and the look of the car is outstanding. So - the coolness factor is still in place and that could be a reason, to continue that story by an investor.
Agree. It’s good looking.
Adam, Thanks for another video with great content / insight and perspective. Am a FOO owner with a cracked windshield (open ticket for 4 months…waiting waiting waiting). Could add to all of your comments, but the Key Fob…it is absolutely insane that they screwed up so badly the #1 interaction point with the car. Like all of you, I suspect, we never know if the key will open the car….been stuck in parking lots half a dozen times not counting when it happens at home. Forget about range anxiety….we have fob / open the door anxiety. While I can also complain that there is no phone app key, HOW CAN YOU ONLY GIVE PEOPLE 1 KEY FOB?? Talk about single point of failure. We clipped an Airtag to it so we never lose it. Pray to god we don’t accidentally drop it in the sink or the dog gets ahold of it. Thinking of getting it its own safe, because the key fob effectively is the car - we lose that, we don’t have a car.
The Fob is a nightmare, so sorry about your windshield
Just leave it in the car. Noone would steal it because its not worth stealing
Great video! 👍
Thanks for watching!
I'm THAT guy who meets all the conditions you mention on why you wouldn't purchase a Fisker now, and I made that decision late last year....THANKFULLY. I'm very happy with my Hyundai Kona Ltd EV that actually works, and has a financially sound company behind it.
Kona is a great EV. I don’t think people realise just how good that little car is.
I’m a fan of the Kona. Extremely good value.
Another great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Adam,
I would like to express my gratitude for your efforts in educating Fisker Ocean owners about the current state of Fisker and its future prospects. As the Chief Operating Officer at Advocate Health, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin, a prominent healthcare system with an annual revenue of 30 billion dollars, I am astounded by Henrik Fisker's inability to effectively manage a company. His history of failed ventures is concerning and raises questions about his leadership capabilities.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Thomas "Tog" Goss
Chief Operating Officer
Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin
Thanks for your feedback
I don’t believe you’re the COO of Atrium. There’s no reason to mention something like that unless it’s highly relevant to the topic. People in positions like that usually aren’t trying to stroke their ego in internet comment sections.
Hey, Adam. Another great analysis. I have sadly come to the conclusion that everyone in this company lack common decency and moral fortitude. It is 30 days since Fisker, following their own contract conditions, accepted the Ocean Extreme I had chosen to return. I did this because I realised the car I needed - reliable, with backing to get me back on the road in case of breakdown or problems- was never going to live up to its promise. It seems they accepted the car without any intention of paying what they owe me. I say this as numerous emails, pleas to managers to contact me for us to discuss this, notification of intention to take them to court and the onset of legal proceedings… not one response. No acknowledgment of receipt, email, phone call. I am left with the suspicion that they are either in such chaos they are unable to function, or they are deliberately stalling until bankruptcy so they only pay
Oops - meant to finish with only pay 30%, if anything. And to add insult to injury they still have my car. It will be interesting to see if administrators try sell a car that is still registered to me. Well, none of my experience indicates anything positive about Fisker, its behaviour, and intent.
I’m extremely sorry about this. I hope you find a resolution. Thank you very much for sharing this.
@@gregwood9062my cat has high voltage warning and won’t operate properly. They haven’t been able to repair it and now I have a car I can’t drive that I’m expected to pay for and keep insurance on.

Hi Adam! Not everybody knows the story behind Fisker. Most people just see a stunning car and love it. Mine is Red Planet red, so it draws a lot of attention and people just love it. (Of course i wont tell then the hell i was and am going thru). BTW, I lost my left mud flap 2 months ago. No offroading, just heavy rain. And, another german TH-camr, Oliver from 136 Grad (Please search for his channel), said in his latest video (posted yesterday) that there were 2 very good offers on the table from solid car manufacturers. Rumors have it that both deals were wiped off the table by Henrik as he would have lost control over the company. - Its again... all about ego. This time, Henriks.
I appreciate this information. Thank you very much for sharing!
excellent video...........thanx a lot adam.............
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video Adam!! Thanks for ending with that picture of Henrik, because he is singularly to blame for the failure of this company (along with the CFO, Geeta, who is also his wife). The Fiskers have proven that they were in it just for the money and their silence for the past several weeks is very telling. They've totally checked out. They're selling their $30MM mansion that they purchased with the Fisker SPAC proceeds and will prob jet off to some private island somewhere where there's no extradition treaty. The sad thing is that Henrik had already proven his grift the last time his car company went bankrupt! This bankruptcy will only serve as confirmation that he was a crook!
I agree with you 100%
Fisker is the Theranos of vehicle manufacturers, they both started with good intentions but ended with lies and deception…
Agree. Good comparison
I bought the Fisker knowing it was one of the best looking electric cars on the market. I bought it for the range & the sustainability. I’ve never bought a car thinking it was an investment for profit. Any car I buy, I buy, knowing it’ll depreciate almost immediately. I’m honestly surprised anyone would buy a Fisker with the thought of it being a sound investment. I do warn people that electric cars in general are very unreliable when compared to your long standing ICE car.
Thanks for the feedback
Great news : Fisker Secures $3.5M in Gross Proceeds, Eyes Further Funding Up To $7.5 Million
I’ll cover this in an upcoming video.
Lite comfort from Scandinavia. I am the owner of a Fisker Ocean one since October last year, upgraded to 2,0. Ar least in Sweden and Denmark you can get service to your FISKER even after bankruptcy. I have been in contact with Meconom in Sweden and The Green E Workshops in Denmark ( de Gronne E Värksteder). I contacted a Green E workshop and he told me no problem to serve your electric car and we give 3 years guaranty on our repairs. I am also owner of a TESLA Y. Sincerely greetings from Sweden.
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you’re having a positive experience!
Service is useless without parts. Every workshop can service this car. But if you can not get the parts to do so, it will be rather difficult.
First thank you for your reply. You sound as a technician, so not to make any mistakes I contacted my service manager at the Green e workshop. He told me that you have to have a special training to repair electric cars due to high Voltage that might kill you. He has experience since more than nine years repairing electric cars and said that most parts are the same in different car brands, so he never had experienced problems with getting spare parts. Of course you have to pay as if you have an old car.
I do have experience my first hybrid car, Prius year 2000, since 2015 battery to charge and my
experience is that very little
mechanical problems with the electric cars.
How often do exist Meconom in Sweden , 20 / 50 / 100 locations? Good to know. I like to visit Sweden with my Ocean in the Summer.
400 Mekonom shops in Sweden but be sure that the shop has the Elic education to serve an EV
I will add this. Insurance, and we can't be curtain, will total car that have had accidents with body parts and structural damage. BUT, I am pretty sure insurance companies will not total cars that have broken side windows, or windshields. And insurance companies insure cars based on accidents, cost to repair vs. value, etc. Insurance companies do not insure cars that now have mechanical or electrical failures. So, your Ocean is inoperable due to some unrepairable mechanical or electrical issue, insurance will not total your Ocean so you will be stuck with continued car loan payments with an immobile Ocean in your garage.
Thanks for your feedback
I will give Henrik the benefit of the doubt and say he genuinely wanted to build a successful car company but was overly optimistic about how much could be accomplished with the available money. Once the suppliers have doubts about the company’s ability to pay and deliver on promises the company was buried by an avalanche of people looking for money and new suppliers not wanting to risk dealing with them. At that point the obstacles on the road to profitability/success are insurmountable.
I am leaning this way as well. He’s just not a business man.

Thanks for this

@@Aslash304 I wonder if any lemon law applies in this situation? I think at a minimum, interest payments should be returned/ cancelled. I feel really bad for anybody who made a good faith effort to do their part in buying an EV and supporting a new brand, only to be hit with this.
@@pawpawbandit3871a lemon law return would imply someone to return it to, with the financial resources to repay money, would it not?
@@pawpawbandit3871my Fisker ocean one hasn’t worked since March 29 due to high voltage battery wanting. Fisker cannot get the parts to repair, left in the dark have filed lemon law but if they file bankruptcy that will trump bankruptcy law. Can’t get anywhere with their service team. It’s horrible.
No there's the Kong of CODA's once they reach 8k.
Love my Fisker Ocean. Model Y sits in the garage most of the time. I only drive the Y if my Ocean is charging or I need to take the Y to the car wash. My Ocean attracts so much attention when I drive it and I have never had one negative reaction. Well, one time this lady cut me off and then gave me the finger yelling "you rich prick." I take it these Oceans look very upscale especially with some of the wheel choices. I have the Matte Silver with blacked out limo tint. I call it my silver bullet.
I can undoubtedly say my Fisker Ocean has been a joy even with the little software hiccups. Thanks for reading.
I wish all the experiences I hear were like this. So glad you’re enjoying it
I don’t think it was a con as such, just staggering over confidence and misplaced self belief.
Which in a lot of Startups is a key Ingredient, because why otherwise undertake such a gamble.
Agree. I also feel this way
And staggering hubris to think he and his wife were capable of being corporate officers. This company and car seriously could have thrived if he hired a CEO/President and a non-related CFO to manage and he could have been chief mouthpiece and engineer.
The car literally could have sold hundreds of thousands with the build quality, ride and comfort.
@@memyselfundeye agreed. Although Henrik is no engineer. Chief Designer maybe?
Have 2.1 in my Extreme that I picked up from the JAX dealer. Only PITA is the fob. Otherwise haven’t had any errors. Hope it’s not too late for this car.
Me too! Enjoy your extreme!
Thanks Adam for your hard and constant updates. They really need to throw the Fiskers in jail. They duped so many people into good earned hard money for a what they thought would be a great car. Where are they now? Certainly not standing behind their product. It seems it was all a. scam from the start.
I hope it wasn’t. But it does not look good from the outside looking in.
100% in agreement with you. I got burned with Fisker, losing more than $5000.00 in the process. But let's be honest, this is not exclusive to Fisker. I got taken by Rivian as well, who in my view also plays very fast and loose with its promises which appear to be no more than marketing double talk. It would appear that EV startups are full of this bait and switch game, and Fisker and Rivian are 2 perfect examples of that approach. At the end of the day buyer beware, although I do think the US govrt should have built better guard rails before many US customers were hurt in the process. My opinion, stay away from both those companies. I expect that will not be difficult with Fisker since it will likely not remain an ongoing concern very soon; Rivian is more in the air depending on whether they get a large infusion of cash from someone (Apple?).
Well said. But There’s no buyer.
Can you share a little more on how you lost money with Rivian? I was considering a purchase & thought they had alot of money backing them from Amazon.
Personally I’m waiting for the E Force. Thanks for doing what you do. I wonder what those dealers are telling people? From what I’ve seen they seem more like used car dealers.
There’s no more production. Who is building the Force E.? There’s no employees.
Fisker is toast. All the content of this vid is interesting but the fact is that this entire car company is unwinding before our eyes. If you want to keep it as an interesting paper weight that’s fine but as an actual vehicle for long term use forget it.
Agree
I think you should only even think about buying one today, if you can absorb a total loss of the money you put in. In addition to the points in the video. With all the problems popping up, what when one problems leads to the car being unsafe to drive? Most likely Nobody will fix that for you. And even when you get a fix yourself. Good luck getting it certified and getting an insurance.
Well put. 100% agree
Hi Adam, my fisker ocean key fob couldn't open the door or start. It turn-out that my fisker ocean one didn't receive a proper update of software 2.0. So, I've emailed fisker support team and it took a week for the support team get back to me and someone came out the next day. The software engineer had the jumped start my vehicle and manually updated the 2.0 software. So far it's back and running. Do you think people will sue fisker for selling a lemon vehicle?
This is possible. I’ll keep you updated on any news here
It’s embarrassing to drive now. I feel like everyone laughing or feeling bad for me
I've never seen a Fisker on the road, but if I did, I'd definitely start laughing 😆🤣🤭.
Doubt it for most people. It is a fairly good looking car and few people know what a fisker is. Most people are probably just curious. For me person, my thought is well that person is braze/crazy. Tend to assume the person got it later for a massive discount knowing all the problems.
I second that emotion.
@@edouglasroche I just took part in an EV Show in Marin County and the car still attracts a ton of attention and interest and most have no idea about the financial struggles. Was a real eye opener for me as people asked me where they could buy one.
Fisker below 30000 become a bargain if you take the battery out and use it as home storage .
The 75 kWh has then a value of about 10000$ and the bigger about 13000$
And the rest can be sold as spare parts and believe me you will make up the 17.000 $ for sure once you have learned what the parts are worth in a market where the manufacturer is selling. Check out spare part prices for a VW fender, the inverter, the motor and then think about the demand for these parts without any further parts from the supplier / manufacturer.
But of cause Rich is right that it will be even cheaper.
The prices are coming down

Not a Fisker owner, but finding this story as told by you very interesting. One question, what happens should the NTSA demand a recall when there is no company around to deal with that? Instant insurance withdrawal?
It won’t be pretty. But it will be interesting. Thank you for watching!
Thanks Adam. I know you are right. I don't know how to get out of my $49k Ultra without losing a ton of money. At this point, I may as well keep it!
$25-30k on your own terms is better than $15k from the insurance company because they gave up on parts. You’re 100% right, though, either way it’s a huge loss.
My car died-died with 2.0; Adam suggested I make a stink on social media and that got it fixed within a day or two. 2.0 seems quite good now, but I'm never clicking the 2.1 upgrade option if I ever see it.
I understand the reasoning here. I’m glad your is running
I said the same thing. I run a Mac desktop and laptop. I do not even install new operating systems on either as it runs fine as is. I might be missing speed increases but why risk it as I am used to how things are going.
They should put a infotainment system like Nissan leaf that don't need no updates. And maybe at 20k people can get them.
I agree. But i believe this option is too late.
I’m puzzled by Magna’s announcement about hiring for manufacturing in Mesa, AZ.

Really cute the Ch 11 Fisker logo, I see you enjoy the misfortunes of others. Thousands of people losing their jobs, and investments, but here you find it funny to mock it all in creating a Fisker Ch 11 logo. Says a whole lot about your character, and life.
Pretty sad waiting and rooting for the failure of an American startup. You should be ashamed Adam and the chapter 11 illustration shows your unprofessionalism and bias. (and don't heart this either , it's pretty transparent who's funding you now)
Life: Low. Character: I’m Batman
Adam did not create the logo, but the truth and creativity are spot on. As owners of a Fisker Ocean, one which had multiple issues, there is a lot of compassion for others who are in the same boat.
Its called "gallows humour" and is a perfectly natural reaction from someone caught in a bad situation.
When in trouble you either laugh or you cry - lots of people choose to laugh.
3 new dealers (NJ and CA) added the day after this went on-line. Every company facing BK keeps adding dealers and service centers while amateurs with no formal experience keep going for clicks and likes. How much is elon paying you after he got caught backing brownlee?
Dead again, same dude try to make hybrid plugins, ended up getting sold to a Chinese company and renamed karma inc

I am sorry, but check the Fisker guy's reputation.
Not good. It was not good
Most owners are gonna hate you. Too much truth here. I hope Ocean1 doesn't see this video. Bad things would most likely happen. I hope you can get out of your Ocean.
Thanks for your feedback! I am just trying to be honest. I know what it’s like to own the vehicle.
Nice museum price you have. Nice unicorn. You learned a heck of an experience. I hope it isn’t your only car.
It is definitely not my only car.

I saw a lost ocean one driving in to the 40+ supercharging station in Dateland Arizona the other day. I thought I was a Range Rover at first glance, but quickly realized how cheaply made it looked. The owner was lost looking for his charging station so I helped. I saw the car close and personal. The cheapness was astonishing, everything from the exterior to the interior was cheap material. The car was simple and elegant from the rear ,but the front end was full blown imitation of a Range Rover and a urus on steroids, just so exaggerated. The sides just look like a discovery and that solar roof with the name was hideous. People saw the quality and passed . No wonder why they failed.
There were certainly corners that were cut.
Someone’s emotional
Ha. I dropped off my associate to his range Rover dealer. The sales guy popped his head in my ocean and exclaimed NICE CAR, while feeling the dash too. It was genuine excitement. We all have different stories. Mine runs great. No HOLD PROBLEM. Bad Fob and errors but I’ll wait for the updates and move on.

do you think it would be an opportunity for a Chinese brand to enter into the American with the purchase of Fisker? @adsm
I think the name “Fisker” is too tarnished to generate interest
Will people want these in 8 to 10 years?
Hard to judge, but not super likely
