    This car is the best and head turner EV in the market today for daily rides. I own both Tesla and Fisker, people stop me and give me compliments about the design of the car. They should thank Henrik Fisker😂, he is a great designer. And it is build in Magna Steyr company in Austria, which they build Mercedes G-Wagons at the same factory almost ensures the quality of their products and their attention to detail. when it comes to quality they did not cut back. I love my Fisker over my Tesla and after couple updates this car will be amazing. Almost 5000 miles and I didnt have any problems yet.

    Looks like a sweet car. I wouldn't worry about the glitches. As an owner of a 1st model year with a new company, some bugs are bound to occur. I own a LYRIQ and love it to death, but several glitches were found. They get worked out over time. Pretty cool range it has. Nice to see them in owners hands. Enjoy.

    It is still early in the development cycle and software bugs can be worked out. His enthusiasm seems legit and I wish him the best.

    I friggin love my FOO. Do i get an occasional error code or alert message? Yes. But 99% of them are eliminated with a 20 second reset i can do myself, the remainder are usually eliminated with a simple deep sleep reset which is essentially what you get whenever you lock the car with your FOB and leave it for 20-30 minutes.
    Its fast, a head turner (i have to budget extra time when running errands because i always have people asking me about it), its the most comfortable car i have owned (and i have owned euro sports sedans and higher end trim Grand Cherokees), the color (Big Sur Blue matte) is one of a kind and the addition of physical buttons, a driver’s display binnacle and a giant ass sunroof/solar panel are just cherries on the sundae.
    I have had it for 6 weeks and have driven about 1600 miles including 400 and 500 mile road trips and its amazing.

    3 miles per 1% of charge is basically it's ~350 miles per 100%, discounted some for bad-range-days. For EV owners, it's much better to get used to this mode of thinking than relying on a car's estimates. ... Our Nissan Leaf (Plus) gets between 1.5 & 2.0 miles per percent of charge, which is quite easy to calculate on the fly. We've got a reservation for an Ultra, and can't wait to go fully EV.

      Any current timeline for expected delivery window?

    • @FrankBlissett
      @FrankBlissett 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Ocean1_FSR For us? No. We'd not really be ready for it this winter, though, so are just sitting back. It looks like the One (their launch edition) is fulfilled or nearly so, and Extreme deliveries are well underway. There are reports of Ultra & Sport reservation holders who have done financing through Fisker have been offered for their order to get going, though those trims would not yet be street-legal in the USA so I don't know how that would work.

    The kWh calculations it gives on the Trip computer added in software v1.11 seem to be incorrect for some users, so you aren’t missing much there!
    Regen/braking faults still also occurs occasionally on v1.11, as I found this morning.
    I’d suggest it would be a fairer test to do these calculations with it not in fault mode as it does make a difference to energy consumption.
    You could use a public charger as an endpoint and charge back up to 80% to get an accurate reading of KWh used.
    I also use 3 miles/% as a rule of thumb. If I’m doing a longer higher speed journey I budget 2.5 miles/% - so very similar figures to yourself. I also tend to find it eats 1-2% initially on any journey very fast, I guess as it heats the cabin (and maybe the battery).

    Thank you so much for showing us how the digital camera looks in the rain. I was wondering about that. If you didn't use the digital camera was your regular back window covered in rain water?

      Yes, the rear window was completely covered and useless without the digital rear camera. Oddly enough it is incredibly difficult to get dirty

      I’ve lost regenerative breaking a few times the past couple of weeks. I noticed once i stopped driving, did my chores and came back and started the car, I had regenerative breaking back. Hopefully they’ll get this fixed in a future update.

    3 miles of range (MOR) for every 1% of the car’s SOC. Given the rainy driving environment I would expect a little more range given a clear day environment? So how does 3 MOR equate to what the car says are the miles remaining? When I’m driving a long distance I’m always watching the difference from what the car’s estimated miles remaining is to how many miles I have to my destination. I’d like to compare using the 3MOR estimation.

    • @Ocean1_FSR

      It just depends on the three Ts. Temperature Terrain and Technique. So many variables...

    A nice car. I made a $250 nonrefundable reservation. But after the drastic price reduction in model Y, and another additional federal and local tax credit, a comparable Ocean will cost me $20,000 more than model Y. Ocean is not $20k better than Tesla model Y. Fisker will likely go bankrupt if the current trend continues.

    • @Ocean1_FSR
      @Ocean1_FSR  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nobody made a non refundable deposit. It's refundable except for 25 dollars. I offered my wife a Model Y. She despised it. Spec for spec with a fair build there is very little difference excluding the tax credit which not everyone qualifies for. The Model Y is very bland and the interior is horrid.
