If you go to the back of the red side. ( The side you're supposed to sneak to the other side) there will be a bunch of wounded soldiers and a door open. Going down, it will take you down a sewage section, and in a corner, you will find the night vision goggles. This was in both the redux and the regular metro2033

Out of nowhere though, the guy searching our bags asked us if we played any videogames, which my brother then replied to by bringing up Exodus, as he was about midway through it at the time. Anyway, long story short, the guy doing the search had actually read all the books and genuinely took enough of a liking to us after that, that he gave up searching after the first bag, went "Alright well like, you guys seem friendly enough, and I doubt I'm gonna find anything if I keep looking, so you can head off now, sorry for the inconvenience." and I narrowly avoided having all my stuff dumped out for everyone to see. In the first game, I found the night vision in the chapter with the Reich and the Reds figth . It's right at the start of the chapter behind you , on a table near a juggernaut and a soldier on the right side of the wall .
An interesting bit to help your gameplay: In basically all difficulties across the games, throwing knives are an instant 1 hit kill against all/most enemies. I think there are occasionally some instances where maybe you need two, but generally speaking as long as the throwing knife hits a hit box then the enemy dies. Legitimately one of my last playthroughs of Metro Redux I remember just using the knives to blitz through the library.

Just stumbled upon this video and watched all of it. As a fellow Metro fan, it's honestly heartwarming to listen to someone talk about this amazing series with such wonder and zeal. Great video man, keep doing what you're doing!

30:59 Fun fact: This is the only time in the entire series where Artyom speaks outside of loading screens during the games. Yes he says only that one word through entirety of metro 2033, metro last light and metro exodus.
Something I love about the first Metro game, is that the bad ending is the canon ending. When games give you multiple endings, I would love if more games made the bad ending the canon ending.
@@GenesisBoi The bad ending is canon anyhow, and the good ending didn't feel like a very well written conclusion, considering that, in the book, Artyom finally understood the Dark Ones, only, he understood too late to stop what he had just set in motion.
Ty for vid. Bourbon isn't actually dead, he's just KO, as he's mentioned in Pavel's Last Light DLC. Also if you try to shoot his corpse, your screen will darken, meaning you're losing karma. :)
@@lisaanimi Him appearing in the train has been theorized to be a hallucination due to Artyom believing him to be dead and due to a person with his voice and mostly similar clothes appearing somewhere after his death.
HOLY SHIT I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG for someone to do a video essay on Metro. I have all three books, and I'm just about to start 2034, + I've gotten the platinum trophies for both 2033 and Last Light (both redux versions), and I'm around halfway there for Exodus. ALL of the games have such immensely good atmosphere, and I feel like the dated graphics add so much to the gritty, rough, dark atmosphere. I could sit here and yap about it for an hour if i wanted to T^T
haha glad u like the video and yeah xD I fucking LOVE this franchise as well! I could easily have made this video 4-5 hours long but that would just be to long hehehe
I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but you can actually get night vision in the Frontline level (the one with the reds and the Reich are fighting) all you have to do is turn around at the start of the level and it is in red container on the wall, also the mutants on the surface are different from the nosalis, and they are called watchman.
43:00 in fact, you can get night vision goggles earlier at the bridge combat level, right behind red line's machine gun spot you can go at the tunnel. here you can get those goggles and some more goodies
Man, this is seriously the best game ever. I especially liked the atmosphere of the game because I grew up in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia. And yesterday I finally upgraded my PC so I can finally play Metro Exodus, which includes the city I grew up in! (will there be an Exodus video, by the way?) And it wasn't until I wrote this comment that I realized you only had 1489 subs, I mean 1490 ;) And BlueLad your video was really really great, especially with your nice editing style with the funny frogs XD keep it up!!
Man, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your videos. I've seen them all btw, you're doing great work! Keep it up buddy. Thank you! Also I love Metro so much I've beaten Exodus several times honestly it helped me get out of a terrible place, I was sick and dying at the time, i'm much better now and thriving! I left this one for last since it's now my favorite video and some how before deciding to view it last I kinda knew it would be.
43:20 You can actually find those googles earlier in the game. But they are quite well hidden in that chapter where you have to cross the bridge between the reds and the commies.
When I first played Metro at university in 2010 I was utterly blown away. I had played it on a torrent cracked copy. But after completing it I went and got the book to read through and a boxed copy of the game from a local store. The thing that blew me away with the game and the book was the atmosphere. It was oppressive, thick and you could feel it in every page of the book and every frame of the game. Metro 2034 wasn't translated into English at that time, but it did have a Swedish translation which I was able to work my way through, but to me it lacked the same character as the first book. I eventually got to meet Dimitri Glukhovski at a book signing nearly a decade later and asked him a few things about his influences and what he thought of the game, as generally authors have had a very poor view of video game adaptations of their games (I.E Sapkowskis Witcher) but he had nothing but kind words and praise for the guys at 4A games. While I think the story has reached its conclusion with Exodus. I do want to see what comes out of both of their minds next.
Addition. What do you mean "On the nose" when talking about the 4th Reich? They are literally and canonically see themselves as a continuation of the mid century Germans who called themselves the 3rd Reich. It's not a sneaky nudge nudge look at that. But literally a progression of them and the battles between nazism and communism which played out in Ww2.
I knew nothing about Metro 2033. I saw the box art and thought it was cool. I'm glad I got it. It had such a cool vibe to it and the atmosphere was excellent.
One of the good ways to save on gas mask filters is to remove your mask every once in a while and wait for Artyom to start coughing before putting it back on
1:41:43 on Ranger Hardcore I had to do the running technique a lot of times, and it is honestly a saviour in almost all of the mutants sections. The 6 chamber shotgun is also amazing, I used it throughout the games as it was a reliable way to get out of this technique when needed, or if you eventually get behind or in front some of those enemies
1:34:07 trying to play these games at home is always a gamble, because this part and the palace in Exodus come super out of the blue, which was not great for me sitting at home with my family.
43:10 the earliest possible night vision goggles you can find is on the conflict level, you can access them if you go behind the Red's side and you can find a set of stairs leading down, this leads to a safe containing the goggles
1:13:37 one thing shown but not specifically stated here: you can kill them with the flashlight. The spiders are pretty much alergic to light. If you follow them with the flashlight still on them for a short time, theyll eventually be in too much pain to run, flipping onto their backs. (Normally this is when you ***SHOULD*** shoot them, since theyre shells are armored, and their underbellies arent) but if you continue to hold the light on them for a few more seconds, theyll eventually die. This is the best way to save ammo during these sections, especially on Ranger Hardcore
Spoilers about the librarians : >!in the books, they are much smarter. They taunt Artyom by repeating the words of dying people Not only that, they repeat sentences of that person and then rearrange the words to further taunt and scare Artyom away So, not only can they mimic speech, but they also seem to understand language The book also mentions that they can farm to a limited degree, as they are growing plants for food in the courtyard of the library, possibly those little blueish flowers you find that emit a type of fog that you can find in the library and in sewers of the game.
Just wanted to say on the OG 2033 you can usually get NVG's with one of the suits in Armoury Station, or after you get to the Front, hidden away to the left behind the Red's triage. And it's probably just nostalgia talking, but I kinda prefer the aesthetic of the original's, used to make it feel like Artyom had one of those Ranger masks if you kept them down and just switched them off Anyway, awesome video man it's a brilliant breakdown and review of two games I hold very dear to my heart. Keep rocking!
I started metro 2033 redux on the series x didn't get very far. but I went back and bought 2033 and last light for like a $1.60 and just beat them both. already beat 2033 redux and now I'm working on last light redux before moving on to exodus. amazing series of games. they don't get the love they deserve. great video dude
2:10:00 Ulman actually died when the last train hit our position, he pulled you back to the last defense line when you went down. A Hero dying to defend the people of the Metro.
@@BlueLad98 one suggestion I would have when it comes to the video production - there were a lot of sudden transitions between extremely dark clips to pure white or extremely light shots. It would be much easier on the eyes if it wasn't such a drastic sudden jump. I hope you don't mind some constructive criticism, I'm no expert but it's just something I noticed.
Although I´m still early in the video, love it so far. Been a fan of the metro series for a long time, reading all 3 main books and a number of in-series books from different locations and characters. Biggest thing I´m proud of is getting 100% achievements on all 3 games on xbox :p Can´t wait to see your Metro Last Light and maybe one day Metro Exodus video :p
legit considering reinstalling metro just to try out and explore above ground in the polis ranger mission i lost the spark to continue after finishing the reich defence mission and had no clue this was possible
I have the original version and the redux with me, I have to say, both are VERY different, some mechanics only exist in the redux version and others only exist in the original version, for example, you could buy armor in the original game, well only 2 types of armor, one specialized in stealth and the other in defense/tanking, the stealth one comes with night vision goggles and makes you make less noise when walking, and the defense one makes you reduce the damage taken, it doesn't come with night vision
hey dude . awesome edits and production value . hope the algorithm does its thing . this videos should be watched by more people . keep going my fellow peepo 🤙
This was like the first games i played in one sitting and actually enjoyed after playing exodus i started just now reading the books . Me being from Latvia the station Riga was cool for me to as a local.
You can actually find a few night night vision goggles in the game like in in the mission like in blackstation in the start in the left next to the lamp on the backpack. You can also find 3 night vision goggles on the level front line (1 of them is in the next mission Trolley combat and can be found at 29:35 in the video) and two of them are hard to find and requires you look look around the map like one is in the very start of the mission front line when Artyom falls off the trolley and if you turn around and head the opposite of the trolley you can find two soldiers next to a campfire and if you kill both of them you would be able to find a orange box that should have ammo or medkits but also had the goggles.
(this commet with a million edits is made while watching the video, there are many details that i'll skip like when khan asks you to listen to the pipes and if you dont listen for too long, you dont get grabbed by the shadows) remember to take off your gasmask when its not need, aka when no one else is using it, also charge the flashlight and hellbreath (otherwise the hellbreath deals no damage when it has less than 80% charge) Just watched 4 minutes of the video, those enemies you encounter in the prologue are called "watchmen", the nosalis are the ones without any fur (1 minute later) you can take hunter's postcard, if you dont grab it from his hand you can just pick it up behind him on the lil brick thingi that he is sitting on On minute 18, the "directional system" is a compass in your lil notebook when you hold M (kinda useless imo with how straightforward the game is), also the blue indicator only tells you when you are in the light, no matter if there are enemies around or not and sometimes enemies can still see you in the dark (99% of the time being nosalis) On minute 43 about the nightvision goggles, you can get them as early as the frontline level (i dont remember seeing them earlier than that in any of my playthroughs), but i do agree that they pretty much have no use unless you are doing a bad ending run with the lowest brightness possible Minute 46, artyom gets jumped like twice a day and he is fine, but a well trained soldier has to blow himself up as soon as he gets touched by a mutant lmao Also minute 46, just use your flashlight and lighter, no need to ever use bullets against the spiders) ------------------ at 1:33:00 in last light, when you drink too much at the bar and pretty much destroy it, you can pay the barman 100 bullets as compensation for your troubles, giving you good karma overall, really good video, i really enjoyed it and hopefully many others do too
Well actually it exists more because of the book roadside picnic and the movie STALKER which is what inspired shadow of Chernobyl and it's sequels and what made the people who started obsidian make the wasteland games which were a precursor to fallout 1&2
I personally had a blast with all of the games I do have to say I wasn't as scared as I probably should have been the 4 barreled shotgun kinda made me feel pretty safe 😂
You missed a lot of secrets Like the fact that you can get the night vision glasses in the frontline level by going back after you fall out of the cart with the red line soldiers
I listened to all three books on audible after I played all games. I am kinda sad they didn't follow the books after the first game. The only thing that annoys me slightly is the author really likes to introduce narrative beats and than gets distracted by his own writing. He sometimes picks up some of them but more often then not he kinda forgets about them. The major plot points are all addressed but it is a bit frustrating sometimes. The writing can be messy sometimes. I would give them a 7/10. Worth a read or listen
Yeah, the books and games deviate hard but it makes sense why they change considering that while the drama in the books is gripping, it would not be very fun to play as an action game.
A little smart ass here, but the first mutants you fight with Miller 3:50 are not Nosalis, they are Watchman Hunter or Watchers, Nosalis have no fur, unlike Watchman. Nosalis are the ones that invade the metro when you meet Hunter for the first time. 12:49 If you really stop there for a moment and listen to the pipes, you can really hear something after a few seconds and Artyom reacts to it, like later with Khan. try turn around in the dream sequence with bourbon... After all, you still mentioned the Watchman in Last Light, was already a bit triggered that every opponent in 2033 was a Nosalis. 1:23:41 Why is everything a nosalis for you? LUL On the part where you ride with Regina where you are briefly on the surface with the extreme radiation you can also see the little Dark One standing on one of the struts. if you make all the other good decisions, you can kill lesnitzky and get the good ending. both Last Light endings give me goose bumps every time. cant wait for Exodus.
The Riga Merchant in the first tunnel battle? I thought he was a 100% scripted death? All footage shows he cannot be saved, as even if you glitch the game to kill the mutant, he disappears anyway
Pretty sure the Reds always lose cuz the Reichs are using their own ranger divison and they just wipe the floor with them but cannot push beyonf the bridge
Can confirm, you do NOT have to spare any of the basic enemies to get the good endings in either game. If you get mostly every other moral point, and avoid the negative ones, you get the good ending.
A small correction in the beginning when your on the surface and surrounded it isn't the nosilies or 'pig noses' it's actually the watchmen the mutated dog like creatures on the surface
I bought the gd audiobooks bc I didn't know the games differed and the books offered more lore. Your editing is peak, the pacing, the cuts and transitions... How have you not got more subs?
1:43:11 DO NOT SHOOT THE RHINO! Just make it crash into the pillars and once every pilar is gone shoot it then in the last/second arena, (i think it literally just takes a single shot to kill her once every pilar is destroyed).

Just stumbled upon this video and watched all of it. As a fellow Metro fan, it's honestly heartwarming to listen to someone talk about this amazing series with such wonder and zeal. Great video man, keep doing what you're doing!
Fun fact, you can actually get Night vision goggles before "war" chapter at armory
finally a metro review after so long tysm
Edit: u can find a woman with red hair in metro last light first u find her mourning the death of her husband then u find her nearly getting SA'd by the bandits then finally u meet here at venice working at the brothel
Edit2: when i fought the rhino nosalis i ran outta bullets and had to melee it all the way
technically you dont even need to kill it, just let it destroy the pillars.
Imma be honest brother, that was probably just asset reuse, the only have like 3 female models.
These are 3 different women, especially since 2 of them are literally at the same time in 2 different places
30:59
Fun fact: This is the only time in the entire series where Artyom speaks outside of loading screens during the games.
Yes he says only that one word through entirety of metro 2033, metro last light and metro exodus.
Something I love about the first Metro game, is that the bad ending is the canon ending. When games give you multiple endings, I would love if more games made the bad ending the canon ending.
In the first game the "morality system" is not actually such, and you can kill all mutants and all bandits and Nazis and still get the good ending.
There are a set of good and bad actions that determine an ending though
@damionrichardson8806 yes but those are like 30% of the points, the bulk comes from exploration and listening.
Funny enough i somehow missed this because i still got the bad ending
@GenesisBoi yup that's the thing you can go 100% pacifist and still get the bad ending because you did not explore or listen to convos
Hes in the eternal train in exodus
@@juusifr Spoiler!!!
But yeah. Exodus proves that dude is totally a goner (Also happens in books although differently)
@@lisaanimi Him appearing in the train has been theorized to be a hallucination due to Artyom believing him to be dead and due to a person with his voice and mostly similar clothes appearing somewhere after his death.
I liked Metro so much that I looked up and learned scraps of Cyrillic to read the signs and put the voice language to Russian for more immersion
Hey this popped up in my recommended and just wanted to say I very much like your editing style. Thanks for existing
awhh thanks so much ^^ Glad you enjoy it!
The „singing pipes“ are meant litteraly. If you stay near the pipes long anough with bourbon you will actually hear voices.
I know I’m late but brother please keep making content this was such a cool journey
awh thank you ^^
46:37 caught that voice crack lol keep up the content! Truly enjoy man!
😭nOOooOOoOOooo
Metro taught me the unbreakable spirit of humanity can overcome everything through sheer determination
Great vid dude. Metro is an incredible series that is so atmospheric and immersive I get lost in its world every time I play it
I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but you can actually get night vision in the Frontline level (the one with the reds and the Reich are fighting) all you have to do is turn around at the start of the level and it is in red container on the wall, also the mutants on the surface are different from the nosalis, and they are called watchman.
Your editing is incredible. Effort level 10/10. New sub
Awh thank you 😊
43:00 in fact, you can get night vision goggles earlier
at the bridge combat level, right behind red line's machine gun spot you can go at the tunnel.
here you can get those goggles and some more goodies
I've played these games so many times and I never knew that D:
@@BlueLad98 you can also go under the bridge to stealth your way trough it
Man, this is seriously the best game ever. I especially liked the atmosphere of the game because I grew up in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia. And yesterday I finally upgraded my PC so I can finally play Metro Exodus, which includes the city I grew up in! (will there be an Exodus video, by the way?)
And it wasn't until I wrote this comment that I realized you only had 1489 subs, I mean 1490 ;)
And BlueLad your video was really really great, especially with your nice editing style with the funny frogs XD
keep it up!!
yes sir! I will be doing a Metro Exodus video soon! I finished the footage for it a while ago and honestly cried at the ending, and thank you so much
@@BlueLad98 Can't wait for the new video!! And hey man if you make these good long videos then you definitely deserve that subb
This channel got started strong, very excited for the Exodus video
Thanks :D
Bourbon got done dirty, bro was the best companion ever.
God damn This is a fine video, love the quality and little tip bits of funny Easter eggs keep up the Good work.
Oh thank you :))
But they are quite well hidden in that chapter where you have to cross the bridge between the reds and the commies.
theres actually 2 sets of goggles on that map
And if you buy the stealth suit it comes with them. A lot of people don't seem to know you could buy a stealth/tanky suit
@@primary2630 I remember you can in the Og version of Metro. But in Redux they removed that. You get the stealth suit atoatically.
Holeee 2 hours fully edited video. I salute your dedication
Fun fact for “what comes next”, Dimitri (the OG writer) is helping to make a VR spin-off title called Metro Awakening, for all main VR platforms.
Its illegal how good the editing is and how detailed the information is AND NOT EVEN 1K LIKES.
Oh wow thank you so much that means a lot seriously😊
In last light there are also goggles in the building on the left when you cross the swamp after leaving venice.
Gained a new subscriber ! Your way too edit the video is hella good I find it very funny with the little pepo guy
Awh thank you 😊 hehe glad u like the little peepos hehe ^_^
I knew nothing about Metro 2033. I saw the box art and thought it was cool. I'm glad I got it. It had such a cool vibe to it and the atmosphere was excellent.
One of the good ways to save on gas mask filters is to remove your mask every once in a while and wait for Artyom to start coughing before putting it back on
I am so hipped for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
Sammeeeeeee
1:41:43 on Ranger Hardcore I had to do the running technique a lot of times, and it is honestly a saviour in almost all of the mutants sections. The 6 chamber shotgun is also amazing, I used it throughout the games as it was a reliable way to get out of this technique when needed, or if you eventually get behind or in front some of those enemies
Ah yes the motrow mescow 😂 6:43
Yep
Nice Work, if you hold this standard of your Videos, you will get recognized/bigger in notime.
Metro also nice Topic for such a long Vid.
Keep it on.
Thanks a ton! :) and ill keep up the quality as best I can ^^ ill also keep trying to improve on these videos as much as possible :D
0:34 stealth in metro be like
Wait, there are still 2 and a half hours of review ahead 🫣
I am leaving
1:34:07 trying to play these games at home is always a gamble, because this part and the palace in Exodus come super out of the blue, which was not great for me sitting at home with my family.
xD
This is the best way to save ammo during these sections, especially on Ranger Hardcore
i was hella freaked from the library section that I went guns blazing killing everything on sight and having no more bullets for the last section...
The invisible watchers are actually talked about by some soldiers of the riech on the black station or frontline level.
Amazing videos man! Keep up the hard work
Thank you so much :D will do!
Spoilers about the librarians :
>!in the books, they are much smarter. They
taunt Artyom by repeating the words of dying people
Not only that, they repeat sentences of that person and then rearrange the words to further taunt and scare Artyom away So, not only can
they mimic speech, but they also seem to understand language The book also mentions that they can farm to a limited degree, as they are growing plants for
food in the courtyard of the library, possibly those little blueish flowers you find that emit a type of fog that you can find in the library and in
sewers of the game.
I wasn't aware about that in regards to the Librarians :o thanks for sharing!
METROOO "plays basically any future song"
I have played all three of these games (so Metro Exodus aswell) and i still saw the whole video.
Btw this video is amazing
Awh thanks a for watching the entire video :))
this video was genuinely awesome, PLEASE make a metro exodus one
Haha thanks and yeah I am making my metro right now it should be out by Sunday this week :))
1:45:07 fun fact: There is another pair you can grab at the house before you head to the church.
Just wanted to say on the OG 2033 you can usually get NVG's with one of the suits in Armoury Station, or after you get to the Front, hidden away to the left behind the Red's triage. And it's probably just nostalgia talking, but I kinda prefer the aesthetic of the original's, used to make it feel like Artyom had one of those Ranger masks if you kept them down and just switched them off
Anyway, awesome video man it's a brilliant breakdown and review of two games I hold very dear to my heart. Keep rocking!
This video deserves a lot more likes
oh thank you ^^' hehe that honestly means a lot!
Glad to hear that u like the games they are fmatasfic and thank you :) im working on a big metro exodus video next
2:10:00 Ulman actually died when the last train hit our position, he pulled you back to the last defense line when you went down. A Hero dying to defend the people of the Metro.
I just platinum both last light and 2033 redux i cannot stop watching videos about the game I can’t put it down
Fantastic video. I can't believe the view count is this low, keep up the great work!
Oh wow thank you so much ^^ that does mean a lot! I’m trying my hardest so thank you!
@@BlueLad98 Are you planning to cover Exodus as well?
@@callmev.2397 Yes sir! I got like 1-2 other videos first but after that it's time for Exodus :)
@@callmev.2397 Oh dude I totally appriciate any feedback that can help me improve :D ill keep that in mind for the next video ^^
Although I´m still early in the video, love it so far. Been a fan of the metro series for a long time, reading all 3 main books and a number of in-series books from different locations and characters. Biggest thing I´m proud of is getting 100% achievements on all 3 games on xbox :p
Can´t wait to see your Metro Last Light and maybe one day Metro Exodus video :p
Hope you enjoy it! and this video features Both metro 2033 and Last light if u watch the entire thing hehe ^^ Exodus ill do in the future!
legit considering reinstalling metro just to try out and explore above ground in the polis ranger mission
i lost the spark to continue after finishing the reich defence mission and had no clue this was possible
Do it
hands down my favorite series next to s.t.a.l.k.e.r
I did QA on this title so I can say with authority that you've made a quality video
Awhh thank you so much and eyy thats sickk :))
Metro is my numbe one game! I love it and love how it works
hey dude . awesome edits and production value . hope the algorithm does its thing . this videos should be watched by more people . keep going my fellow peepo 🤙
Thanks, will do! and thanks for the support hehe ^^ i do hope the algo picks it up!
@@BlueLad98 it sure did for me and was pleasantly surprised hehe FeelsOkayMan cheers lad
“All she does is call Artyom a Little Rabbit, and mock him for… well just being who he is nonstop.”
Ahhh, the perfect woman.
Holy great video with nice edit
Oh thank you :))
(this commet with a million edits is made while watching the video, there are many details that i'll skip like when khan asks you to listen to the pipes and if you dont listen for too long, you dont get grabbed by the shadows) remember to take off your gasmask when its not need, aka when no one else is using it, also charge the flashlight and hellbreath (otherwise the hellbreath deals no damage when it has less than 80% charge)
Just watched 4 minutes of the video, those enemies you encounter in the prologue are called "watchmen", the nosalis are the ones without any fur
(1 minute later) you can take hunter's postcard, if you dont grab it from his hand you can just pick it up behind him on the lil brick thingi that he is sitting on
On minute 18, the "directional system" is a compass in your lil notebook when you hold M (kinda useless imo with how straightforward the game is), also the blue indicator only tells you when you are in the light, no matter if there are enemies around or not and sometimes enemies can still see you in the dark (99% of the time being nosalis)
On minute 43 about the nightvision goggles, you can get them as early as the frontline level (i dont remember seeing them earlier than that in any of my playthroughs), but i do agree that they pretty much have no use unless you are doing a bad ending run with the lowest brightness possible
Minute 46, artyom gets jumped like twice a day and he is fine, but a well trained soldier has to blow himself up as soon as he gets touched by a mutant lmao
Also minute 46, just use your flashlight and lighter, no need to ever use bullets against the spiders)
------------------
at 1:33:00 in last light, when you drink too much at the bar and pretty much destroy it, you can pay the barman 100 bullets as compensation for your troubles, giving you good karma
overall, really good video, i really enjoyed it and hopefully many others do too
Yeah my bad hehe I only realized I fucked up the names of the watchmen v nosalis when I was already finished with the video ^^’ hehe my bad
Wait, wait, wait. There is no way that Metro, my favorite game trilogy, exists because my other favorite game series, Fallout. That's crazy.
Well actually it exists more because of the book roadside picnic and the movie STALKER which is what inspired shadow of Chernobyl and it's sequels and what made the people who started obsidian make the wasteland games which were a precursor to fallout 1&2
@@S.T.A.L.K.E.RGothJesus still.
7:43 actually Sukhoi didn't know about the task Hunter asked to Artyom... He thought Artyom would deliver some goods to Riga and come back home
I personally had a blast with all of the games I do have to say I wasn't as scared as I probably should have been the 4 barreled shotgun kinda made me feel pretty safe 😂
You missed a lot of secrets
Like the fact that you can get the night vision glasses in the frontline level by going back after you fall out of the cart with the red line soldiers
LUL
On the part where you ride with Regina where you are briefly on the surface with the extreme radiation you can also see the little Dark One standing on one of the struts.
if you make all the other good decisions, you can kill lesnitzky and get the good ending.
both Last Light endings give me goose bumps every time.
cant wait for Exodus.
You actually can save that one guy on the cart in the first chapter, though it took me a few attempts
The Riga Merchant in the first tunnel battle? I thought he was a 100% scripted death? All footage shows he cannot be saved, as even if you glitch the game to kill the mutant, he disappears anyway
@@IrishWarrior00 idk, I remember saving him in Metro Redux
This is one of the best videos i have seen dam.
wow really? you mean that cause I was worried it wasn't the best tbh :( thank you so much that seriously makes my day!
I can finally watch this video now since I've beaten every metro game
i actually am happy that the spiders were in 2033 as after the 1000000000th playtrough it got me over my irl arachnophobia
You can kill a demon with one shot with the tikhar
The tikhar with the overpressure thing is amazing
cant wait for the metro exodus analysis video😀
Every couple minutes I get surprise earfucked by an advertisement because this video is so quiet I have to turn my volume up.
43:18 you can actually get the goggles in the mission where the reds and the nazis are fightingh eachother
Great vid my man
Glad you enjoyed
I love both but Stalker just scratches the itch in my brain more
Detail about the War chapter: If you clear out one side (The Reichs I think) the other side will advance and both sides clash directly
Engaging for good content - keep it up
awh thank you ^^ I spent so much time on this video so I really appreciate the kind words!
if you search a little bit in the catacombs section, you can get night vision sooner than the plague level 1:45:05
A small correction in the beginning when your on the surface and surrounded it isn't the nosilies or 'pig noses' it's actually the watchmen the mutated dog like creatures on the surface
Good video! 💝
I bought the gd audiobooks bc I didn't know the games differed and the books offered more lore. Your editing is peak, the pacing, the cuts and transitions... How have you not got more subs?
thanks so much for the kind words ^^ im still new to this kinda content hehe so its not the best yet hehe
1:43:11 DO NOT SHOOT THE RHINO! Just make it crash into the pillars and once every pilar is gone shoot it then in the last/second arena, (i think it literally just takes a single shot to kill her once every pilar is destroyed).
Metro series is needs more recognition
