My favourite line in the Volga is if you skip right past the bunker and go straight back to the train You are then asked why you didn’t get Anna because “she couldn’t have just fallen into the ground”
My favorite part about the Radio is the 2 bandit camps that interact with each other! They go from conflicting to "maybe, maybe we should unite as people and try to start a colony!" And stuff like that
The Dead City was one of my favourite levels in a game ever. The atmosphere, art and sound design were fantastic imo. The story also peaked in that level
As a person who lived in Irkutsk and near Baikal for my whole life, I found this ending weirdly cozy on more personal level. Compared to other more urban cities, this place does feel more connected with nature and in that sense, more detached from world and wars. In a sense, shelter and place for new beginning as some of my friends told me. (I often invite them here and we travel/camp together near the lake or its rivers) Ending itself was sure sad but also very fitting as an actual end. (If devs decide to end the story here anyway) I imagine if 4th game happens, it would be more about tying up loose ends rather then anything else.so, glad you liked the series. I am curious if you will also cover stalker games

This game I've played through 4-5 times and some things in your video I have never seen before (for example the hermit in the desert and the snake). Absolutely excited to watch this! Pro tips for Exodus tho, the throwing knives remain super powerful like in previous games as long as you are stealthing (1-2 hit kills) but as soon as you can craft flame ammo for the Tikhar it is an instant death sentence to all

Correction the ones in the bunker in the mountain, are not the watchers; the watchers are in the metro; in the book and some npc voice line says they control what happens in the metro that being war or the top leaders of the factions, lots of speculation is the next game will be against the watchers seeing they hold the power in the metro and could lose that if people leave for a better place, one of the reason the Hanza were so persistent. Also in the book it says that the government didn’t have time to escape to the mountains(where the bunker was) the government their was from other branches, and the government that didn’t make it to the bunker stayed in the metro no are speculated to be the watchers.
Every once in a while somebody makes a video thats always like "hey do you remember metro Exodus? It was amazing!" and youtube always suggests it to me and i always watch it like i didnt play this game 5 times plus a failed permadeath attempt

My coolest interaction with the church was when I returned and they mentioned me killing them (I suck at stealth) but sparing the ones that surrendered. It blew my mind. I did manage to sneak through the whole place my second time killing no one and never being seen.
I've found its glitchy, I've gone through and only KOed everyone and when I get to the final bridge stealth area, they mention me killing and sparing guys, but I've also done the exact same thing on diff runs and instead the dialogue mentions me sparing everyone and them even reconsidering Silantius's leadership, its rly finicky
It's honestly crazy how immersive it is. One of those games i just have to turn up the volume and have no other sounds at all except the game and somehow time skips forward like 4 hours
I absolutely loved this series. Recently i got a new pc and got to play these games. At first i thought 2033 was kind of boring and it took me a while to finish, but after that i got hooked and played the other 2 games entirely in about 3 days. It was one of the best experiences ever. Definitely one of the best stories in gaming and i hope they wont try to make a game for the "modern audience" as a sequel to exodus.
Yet all the rifle rounds are 5.45x39. There’s a lot of little oversights with this game. Especially when translating Russian to English with Artyom’s journal. I found a ton of typos.

(The counterpart for this whole location with children's camp and the lake is clearly was inspired by Burabai national park. Looks identical in terms of nature btw :3)
I played Exodus 12 times yet I never got bad ending and probably never gonna get,I played first metro game when I was 9 and it teached me to be good person and have mercy and never harm people that don’t deserve it.

Metro Exodus was the first game where I felt the need to get the DLC's, it was so worth it, to me it felt like a nice excuse to play metro again after having finished the normal story twice already, it's deff. one of my favourite games and I can't wait for the 4th Metro that's been rumoured
I remember struggling and even hating the spiders the first time but second time if you use the air gun’s fire capsules it turns the section into a cake walk
2:05:29 personally i feel like it somewhat makes sense because artyom just recently came to taiga and one of the few first living person he sees is a tied up bandit, artyom at first probably didnt realize the guy was a bandit until he meets him face to face. Even the bandits are bad people it feels cruel to leave that guy to be eaten live wild animal and i dont think artyom is that cruel as a character if you played the good route. Killing the bandits to save 1 pioneer does feel justified because bandits have taken and executed plenty pioneers so it would also be cruel to have the hostage suffer the same fate
I have been in love with metro ever since I first got 2033 with my original Xbox one, I have replayed them all many times since then and am currently on my third play through of exodus, I've played stalker and the fallouts and nothing quite scratches that itch like metro does
Btw also it didn't bother me but just in case you didn't notice there were abunch of parts where you said something in the recording then thought of a better way to say it but never edited the first one out so you end up saying the same thing twice in a row, hope that helps
Idk why I’ve never played these games. My dad got me metro last light ages ago when I was in high school and I played 2 hours of it and then didn’t know what I was suppose to do afterwards. This game looks awesome I want to play it right now
exodus was my first metro, having not played any of the games or read books. the gunplay kind of sucks on controller with obsurd deadzones and response curve, and no way to change them, but the rest of the game definitely made up for it. i just finished my second playthrough before watching this and this game is definitely one of my favorites, the only game other than Subnautica that has been able to truly immersse me. the blind ones are fucking horrifying and it all definitely makes for a satisfying ending. good video, definitely the only one that really does this game justice.

Miller constantly blames us for putting the others and especially his daughter in danger because of his surface trips. But now Miller knows, or I think he knew all along but he’s ready to admit it, that artyom would do anything for his brothers and especially for his daughter. Edit: the last part where his comrades are all running to him and Miller was a perfect “end” to the gameplay.
In Chapter 6, the green stuff has run out, except for the three doses Kirill gave us. Artyom and the Colonel's mission is to find the experimental drug that will help cure Anna's lungs, damaged by the gas from the chemical weapon dump.
