Moved down to that area in 2020 from Toronto to escape pandemic bs. Didn't like London at all but did like the small farm towns surrounding it and ended up in one of them. I did most shopping in Exeter to avoid London as much as I could. I would be selling those towns over London, especially to someone new to the area. Ive lived all over Ontario, Cambridge, Mississauga, Mimico, North York, Barrie, Muskoka .. London was second worst to Barrie.
@@tendays456London is basically in the middle of nowhere, you're marooned out there 2.5 hours from the GTA. If you're going to be in the middle of nowhere get into one of the surrounding small towns and live the small town life. They are quiet, peaceful, have farmers markets, somewhat more affordable homes. Lucan, St Marys, Illderton, Mitchell, Alisa Craig - there are tons of them. London is still close by when needed for a supply run.
You forgot a big one. The Outdoor Comedy Festival at Harris park. Who's closing? Bill Burr, and there really is no bigger comedian at this point in time.
Traffic is horrible for a small city. No freeway.
