Hey! Just found your channel and absolutely love your content.. Nt many youtubers talk in detail abt lil things that matter! Me being the latest member of R3 community really admire your work nd effort to help us through your videos ❤️
Hey man.... Thanks for stopping by on my channel and leaving a comment. Congratulations on getting the R3 and welcome to this unique club. You are a man of culture for choosing this bike. We are rarest of 'em all. Cheers! 😎🙏
I too run this tyre on my r3. Im close to 15k kms actually. Yeat its almost flat now at the centre but enough rubber is left for another 3k atleast. The highlight is there is no drop in grip even at this point. Obviously tyre life depends on riding style. As you said its best tyre i every used for r3.
This is a good question actually. My main activity on my bike is hill riding, and though the TVS has performed very well, the edges of the tyres have worn out after only 4000km. I am not sure I can afford 13k every 3-4 months for these tyres. I've heard Apollos last twice as long, and I want to test them out for my next set of tyres. If they are not as fun as the Eurogrip, it will be a tough choice between the two. Do I want a long-lasting tyre which allows me to ride a lot and practice my skills (Apollo)? Or a short life tyre which I have to conserve by riding my bike less, but those less times are very fun (TVS)? I think H2H has already given his verdict on this, and I will give mine once I've tested the Alphas. But if you're in a hurry, my friends are running Alphas on their NS and RS and it is performing very well for those bikes.
@@sohamkhatavkar9669 Michelin Road 5s are premium imported so maybe that's why Tvs decided to give that on Apache 310RR. That's the only reason I can think of. Protorq Extreme is on Aprilia 457 so not why they didn't their own tyres on Apache 🤷🏻♂️
I haven't used Road5 because of the high price however lot of R3 riders in our group have them on and they have given excellent review of it. So yeah... Can definitely use for RC390. 100% recommend!
Hey I am getting the 140/70 version of the extremes have you tried the ceat zoomrad x1. Try it. Yes they are Ceat and are very difficult to fit but try it you might look at ceat differently.
@@HighwayToHill it's better than the diablo rosso 2 .. lasts longer . Performs better in edge grip and side wall support. And my diablo rosso 2 lasted 6500 kms. Ceat lasted 11000 or so
Yeah... It is soft. There is a 140 size available which should be perfect fit for MT15. Life might not be too long but handling and grip is good. I think it's great for city use too.
@HighwayToHill I see a lot of people saying it isn't too good. I see it has the same features as apollo h1. The problem being apollo doesn't come in 140/70, but this does.
@HighwayToHill i have been using stock mrf revz s. Will soft compound tyres get more punctures though? This will be my first time changing to some new tyre. Kindly enlighten me. I don't ride too harsh and don't corner like rossi but i definitely wanna upgrade my tyres haha

Hey there, hard to tell but I think it might be possible. In terms of weight, power and torque it's less than R3. 20K might be a stretch... I feel 15 to 17 K might be possible on the CBR250R. Really good tyres, no doubt. I loved it. Thanks for your comment 😎

Thanks for another useful contribution to the Indian biking space. Your video was one of the reasons I bought these tyres. Cheers... And thanks for sharing your thoughts on my channel. I'm sure it will help a lot of people. Yea, these tyres suit your riding. TVS needs to improve this situation. I have spoken to dealers and they don't wanna touch TVS tyres. Lot of headaches. I couldn't find the tyres in Chennai, home base for TVS... So that says a lot.
