Hey... I prefer sun visors because it's difficult to fit sunglasses inside helmet. I mostly tour a lot. And riding for hours during the day causes strain to my eyes so for me it's a must
@@HighwayToHill you could use protocromic visor or photochromic antifog insert it’s way better in my opinion..i was thinking to buy the thunder4 a while ago but i never bought it due to the presence of dual visor and absence of duble d ring🥲

Could you please tell if I can use the 110 Protorq Extreme HF for the rear of my Apache RTR ?
@@ShagH95 RTR cc?
@@HighwayToHill Got an Apache RTR 180 dual-channel ABS. It's tuned, and does hit 150 without much hassle. I do a lotta high-speed cornering. The bike's geometry is superb, but the MRFs don't provide adequate feedback. So, I've shortlisted the Protorq Extreme HF 110 and Apollo Alpha H1 110 for the rear. My concern is how these front tyres would perform on the rear. The load index of both these tyres is 54, whereas the stock tyres of the Apache 180 ABS had a load rating of 57. Would it hamper safety ? Could you please help me out for the Apache 180 ? Would be thankful. I got a Gen 3 390 Duke too. The stock tyres on the Duke are not very grippy as well.
@@ShagH95 Hey.. so basically you will be using these front tyres for the rear of your RTR or these are rear tyres? Because Apollo Alpha H1 comes only in 150 section at rear.
@@HighwayToHill I think these 110 H1 or 110 Protorq Extreme tyres are meant for the front. And you're right, I'm thinking to use them on the rear of the RTR . Should I? I would proceed under your suggestion.
@@ShagH95 I strongly suggest not to use the front tyres for rear. Because first of all the thread pattern is reverse in front compared to rear. You can still install in reverse rotation but I suggest not to to this for safety purposes. Better to buy a tyre which is meant for rear by the manufacturer.
I have purchased Apollo Alpha H1 for my NS 200 in 2020 it costed me Rs.9300. And i will say it is very good tyres of both city and highway rides. Rear tyre 37612Km & Front tyre 34770Km. Still now I'm using it. 😂

Great piece of content. Bro I have R15 V3. I would appreciate if you suggest to choose between H1s and protorq. 1. I ride on highways a lot. 2. Cornering grip is essential 3. Not concerned about bad roads as R15 is not for off roading.
@@rushikeshgaikwad3098 Thanks bro! I would recommend the TVS Protorq Extreme bro. Cornering will be fun on these! They have a 140 section as well for the rear. These are H rated (210 kmph) so it's more than enough for R15. Else, go for 150 section rear. 😎😎😎

Can I install Apollo Alpha H1 in my R15M?
Yes bro... you can!
Bro am a beginer rider... What is tyre balancing? And its relevance?
Hey... thanks for your question. When the tyre is manufactured, it may have light spots and heavy spots. It may not have even weight through out. So this may lead to uneven wear of the tyre, might cause wobble or handling issues. This is the reason for tyre balancing. Extra weight will be stuck on the rims to make it balanced. Balancing is done after the tyre is mounted on rims. You may see a yellow paint mark on tyres. This suggest the lightest part of the tyre. It is an indication which tell us that this spot needs to be aligned with the valve part on rim. Valve part is the heaviest part on the rim. So we are basically balancing the heavy section with light section on rim and tyre. This is the first step. After this also, overall balancing needs to be checked. Nowadays, manufacturing is very advanced. For example, you might not see the yellow mark on high end tyres. They have perfect weight distribution. However, it still needs balancing once it is mounted on a rim. I hope this helps!
@@HighwayToHill thankyou very much brother for your detailed answer..and all the best for ur future rides.... Keep going ...

Alpha H1 or Steel Brace ?
@@shravanps2197 Alpha H1 is cheaper and will give more life. Grip is ok. Looks are wider. Steel is soft. Won't last long. Much grippy than H1. Bit more expensive. So I will suggest, choose based on your requirement. Thanks for your comment 😎🙏
Are the tyres round profile or v profile. Does it feel like it rolls into corners quickly or slow. In corners does it deflect and jump on small road bumps . And in braking does the front start to give up . How is the feel while cornering is it numb like the TVS or rigid like the Apollo. Any air pressure recommendations. 28 psi + or - cold air temperature.
@@TheINDIAN Hey dude... Great to see you on my channel. I enjoy your videos. Tyres are rounded like Diablo Rossos. Not as quick dipping into corners as the Protorq Extremes. Actually in corners, it soaks any undulations. Doesn't jump. During hard braking, the front stays stable. Doesn't give up. Even during trail braking, it has been behaving well. Nothing unusual. I haven't really cornered a lot... I need to do a ghat section to give more inputs on this. However, it is definitely not rigid like Apollo Alpha H1s. Haven't experimented with different tyre pressure yet. 😎👍
@@HighwayToHill excellent we have another tyre manufacturer that the public can try and enjoy. Ceat is the last one, and judging from their fabric radial I am hoping their steel radial will be good. It's time you try the Aprilia 457 for a test ride and the 400 cc market you will find something popping up .
