So glad that you chose Perth at this time of the year, it's raining here in Sydney. Hope you get to Rottnest island for the quokkad and maybe down to the Dunsborough/ Margaret River region for more nature and wineries. Cottesloe beach for the sunset. Hope you enjoy your time there
Welcome ! welcome ! welcome ! ... I will probably see a fresh perspective of my home city Perth and country ( through your camera lens ) than in all of my time living here !!! ... you see what most of us take for granted ( all countries visited ) and show it to us again and let us know just how good or not it is !!! ... I usually smile through your whole vlog !!! ... thank you !!!
Hey guys welcome to Oz Hope you enjoy our beautiful and BIG brown land. One Tip I will give you is stay hydrated and wear a hat and sunscreen our sun down here is no joke and you will get badly burnt so slip (on a hat) slop (on sunscreen) slap (on a hat)
totally based. I’m from Italy but I’ve greek albanian origins (so, I used to have always sea and a lot of sun) and I’m now in Perth (autumn season, just at the start) the sun is crazy strong. Europe can’t be compared, not at the same level at least, I mean
Welcome to Perth! I’ve only just stumbled across your channel so looking forward to your adventures in Australia! Hope you got to visit Fremantle and some Perth beaches, Western Australia has the best sunsets!
8:14 those plaques in front of the trees in kings park have the names of fallen soldiers on them, my grandfather used to polish them every year, I don't know for how long.
I was going to say I work at the closest Telstra store to the airport - but only just came across your video! Before you head over to Adelaide make sure you switch from Optus. Telstra is the only provider you’ll get rurally
Welcome to Perth and Western Australia! The very long grassed area in the beginning of your video was the very first "airport" in Perth. It's known as the Esplanade. I hope you get to see lots of our state. There's soooo much to see!
Welcome to my home city. Even I didn’t know about the light show in town. May I suggest going back to Kings Park at night and seeing the lights. Also hit the beaches at sunset. Maybe go to Fremantle and see the Freo markets, the cappuccino strip for coffee and the boat harbour. Can be a bit touristy though. Compared to Singapore and the places you have visited, Perth is quiet but us Sandgropers like it that way. Have fun. 👍🏼
Welcome to Australia guys!! Can’t wait to see what you get up to… definitely be careful of your sun exposure and stay hydrated - it’s the end of summer but that sun is still a scorcher! 🇦🇺 ☀️
You've gotta be happy we didn't have a day above 39 this summer, it's been very mild but very dry too. Hope you enjoyed yourselfs while you were here 👍
I've watched you guys travel all over the world, and it's just wild to finally see you in my neck of the woods! Please organise a meet-up if you're still in Perth!
This just came up in my yt feed and I have to congratulate you both on the excellent job you did, not only in capturing spot on content, but also your editing skills… well done! You picked a great day to arrive…. I remember back in the day (before the digital age) landing in some new place in the world and discovering it was a public holiday and everything was closed…. Spent a few hungry first nights here and there, lol…. Enjoy your time in Aus 😎👍
Love seeing my home as seen through a tourist’s eyes. Perth people are v friendly but the sun is hot and it’s been quite cool this summer. Hope you found some of our beaches but don’t forget the sunscreen and hats.
LOL - Only a Perthian would describe a summer with no official days over 40 degrees as "quite cool this year". It's STILL been bloody hot and, in fact, that is one of the main things wrong with Perth - if the average summer temps were about ten degrees lower, it'd be perfect.
Looks like you picked the right time to come. The train line from the city to the airport only opened recently. Also at 7:49 you walked straight past Perth's best fish & chips: Grand Lane.
Hello. Just wanted to let you both know I came upon your vlogs about two weeks ago and have enjoyed it since. I look forward to watching your past travels and recent destinations. Stay safe with more travels to come. Thank you both for sharing your amazing adventures with us.😁
Enjoy Australia,i did,it has everything,by the way the river you could see from Kings Park is The Swan River, you can get a ferry down to Freemantle and out to Rottness Island from Elisabeth Quay, both are well worth a visit,Australia is a magical land, and i will be following your progress with envy and hoping it,s not to long before i visit again. ENJOY.
Welcome to my city! Hope you're handling the heat well. Whilst the days are hot, it really cools down at night here for some relief. Also, that's the Swan River that you see from Kings Park.
Welcome to the Great Southern Land 😀 Was surprised Cheveyo initially said he didn't mind the the Australian summer heat lol. Summer is almost over except it's normally hottest in Feb in South East Australia anyway. Cost of living has gone up in Australia like other countries since COVID hit.
Excited for you guys. Had to leave Perth due to Covid in 2020 but I’ll be back. Freo is worth a look, Cottesloe, the Brass Monkey, Amplifier Bar if its still there. Pinnacles. Ningaloo & Karijini if you’re going north.
This brought back memories from our (with my wife) trip over to Perth a couple of years ago from where we live on the Gold Coast. We stayed in a apartment on the big hill you walked up to Kings Park. And I kid you not, the spot you sat down in the park with the view back down on the city is the exact spot we sat to watch new years fireworks which were a non event because there were non on the waterfront and were all back behind the buildings. If you guys can afford the expense and the time you should really try to get to Rottnest Island. Nice bike riding around the island if it's not too hot, great spots everywhere for picnics and swimming, and of course the Quokkas. You'll find them all over the island but for the getting up close and personal with these cute guys just walk and ride around the townsite on the island. Hope you have a good time in Oz.
Haha this was randomly in my recommended, and I’m watching it right now from my apartment in Elizabeth Quay 😂😂 Glad you enjoyed the light show, I was there too ;)
Nice. Your videos hit my reccomendations a few months ago and they've been hitting hard again lately. So glad to see the OG video. Also glad you enjoyed the meat pie. We are a bit like the UK in terms of not very exciting local food compared to imported cuisine but the pie is the exception. You can find a great one in nearly every country town.A decent second place is the snot block (more formally the vanilla slice) also available in country town bakeries.
Remember check out the Wave Rock, there’s a small town in very south of Perth with popular of 3 people, you should see them. Perth is like England, they have tea time in the afternoon, serves tea and cookies. I took the train to travel everywhere in Perth, they have beautiful beaches too .
Welcome to Australia ☺ Hope you have a great time. Remember that our summer sun is ridiculously intense, so wear hats, keep hydrated, and use A LOT of sunscreen!
Your video just popped up on my feed. Welcome to AUS! and welcome to Perth :) Native Perthie here and I'm so glad you had some great first days here. So lucky to catch the Festival too. I haven't yet watched any of your other videos and have no idea how long you are here for but Perth has a free bus service in the City called CAT buses (Central Area Transit) which have different colours depending on where in the city you wanted to go. If you go to the Transperth Centre you can pick up timetables. I think they also have CAT buses in Fremantle too. Definitely make sure you keep hydrated, wear hats and sunscreen as our summers can be very intense and you always have to be wary of getting heatstroke. Stay cool and hope you have a great time in WA!
I am so glad I found your videos of Australia. I have been watching all kinds of travel content of Australia and you guys are the first people who got a cellphone plan instead of trying to use your own cellphone company from home. What a great idea!! I never thought of that. It would be way cheaper then a International Plan. One suggestion!!! Please make a playlist for your Australian Trip please. I see a playlist for a lot of your other trips, but none for your trip to Australia?? It would make it easier for us who want to see them in chronological order. ❤
Maybe, you shouldn't ask but just tell more and more about this wonderful city, for example: why this City is so neat? Why Daniel Ricciard doesn't come back to his lovely hometown?😢💔😢😁
Welcome to Oz! Definitely get hats and sunscreen as several people have already advised. If you get to Melbourne, come up to the Dandenong Ranges for a hike in our forest. Enjoy
Perth , Australia , Sweet memories indeed , leaping kangaroos , sleepy koalas and possums , the weather looked divine , well you probably might like to visit Hutt Lagoon at Port Gregory to see pink lake, it's pretty facinating to see a lake that's totally pink
Welcome to Australia! Definitely picked a good time as it’s the tail end of summer, so not extremely hot…though the weather has been a bit crazy in Australia at the moment, and I know that Sydney has definitely not been as hot as it has been in the past (La Niña in effect!). Enjoy Perth! Can’t wait to see what you get up to in my home city of Sydney (hopefully will run into you if you’re there on the weekend, work gets in the way on a weekday 😅)
Like a lot of comments was nice to see this pop up in my feed. walked past the Bali Memorial where you had your pie this morning. Cool to see the city from a new perspective. Great job!
Perth. That may well be my next family vacation trip. I posed this question to ChatGPT "Plan a cheap itinery for 5-day trip to perth, including how to travel (car rental?) and cheap accommodation to stay? List down some cheap accommodation to stay." The answers changes each time I asked again. Anyway, your vlog may provide ideas for my own family vacation! :)
If you haven’t already done it check out the clipper buses. They are red, blue and yellow and they are free and go to different places in Perth. Train travel is fairly cheap too, Fremantle and Mandurah also have the clipper buses once you get off the train. If you buy a public transport ticket you have two hours of travel for the ticket. Watch out for the sun, its hotter than you think and you’ll get burnt easily. Get hats and sunscreen.
You'll probably end up in the outback, but it isn't the dingoes you need to worry about. It's the dropbears. Welcome to Australia guys! See you on the east coast!
Just starting the video and the 6:30 AM render on the grass did not go unnoticed, your editing is getting to whole new level. now back to watching the video :)
Northbridge is the place to go for food in Perth. Go to the Asian spots. Yummy! Pinjarra Pies Franchis have lots of awards for their pies. Aussies usually eat their pies with TOMATO SAUCE! BTW if you don't want to blow your budget with food shop at Woolworths or Coles supermarkets. Bread roll with a tin of tuna on it $2.50.
My home-town! Gosh you know I very rarely go to those inner city spots these days. Nice to see them from an external perspective. You have got me craving a meat pie, haven't eaten one in ages. You've inspired me, must eat soon. 😅
Welcome to Perth , not many cheap meals and touristy stuff costs a lot too but a great place to see . Oh yeah sorry about the heat but it does get cooler some days . You will have to check out the beaches as we have the best in the world , I think :-)
Perth is best to go from July to September... coldest is in July... Fremantle is a must visit city town ... Easily reach by public train and take only half an hour ride
Omg you picked a hot day to be here! You did well on ur first day with the heat. Hope u enjoy ur time here. Every city in Aus has a different vibe ❤ we are a relaxed bunch 😊 just watch out when walking around the city at night. And I agree curry puffs are the best thing in the world!
Nice work. If you're coming to Melbourne be sure to go to an AFL footy match (preferably the Hawks). Also visit the Botanical Gardens, Melbourne Museum, Melbourne University, The Zoo, Crown Casino and the Docklands. You also may wish to visit Phillip Island's fairy penguins and Lakes Entrance. Enjoy!
Welcome to Australia Tia & Chev you will have a wonderful time. Hope you are able to travel to Queensland lol looking forward to seeing your Australian journey 😍
Welcome to Perf. This time of year is usually in the 40c range so you’ve picked a great summer to come here. The UV rays will still be high hence the “stay hydrated “ comments. Good to see the airport train link working
Totally unrelated but are you guys planning on going back to Vietnam any time soon? I still re-watch your VN series sometimes because of your dad. Cheers!
Dont know if u still here or have been already, but u can take a ferry from Elisabeth quay to South Perth. Its another nice view of the city and Perth zoo is on that side of the river. Look like u having fun. Welcome to Perth
Welcome to Perth, make sure you go to our beautiful beaches, Scarborough & Cottesloe beach locally and beautiful Rottnest island and take a selfie with a quokker - enjoy.
Welcome to Perth. How long are you here for? Rottnest and penguin island, Margaret river, yallingup, donsborough, bells rapids, swan valley, Yanchep are all places I’d suggest to look at while you’re here
G'day guys, welcome to WA. Quick tip if you're gonna go bush, stick with Telstra. They'll work in places Optus won't. And most definitely do not underestimate the sun here. As we say....remember to Slip Slop Slap.
It's amazing you stepped outside on your first morning and said "it's a dry heat".
It's a Perth meme.
HA! It's an Arizona meme, too 😂
Haha love it!
What an astonishing adventure you 2 embarked on.
Well done.
It’s so strange seeing my hometown on the internet like this 😁
Have a great time while you’re here in Perth!
Fellow Perthian 🤝
ikr lmao
lol perth
So glad that you chose Perth at this time of the year, it's raining here in Sydney. Hope you get to Rottnest island for the quokkad and maybe down to the Dunsborough/ Margaret River region for more nature and wineries. Cottesloe beach for the sunset. Hope you enjoy your time there
Where I live, in the Perth Hills, laid back and relaxed living, Kings Park magnificent view over the Swan River
Welcome ! welcome ! welcome ! ... Perth ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Perth
Perth is glorious! Of course the beaches etc are great, but get out of town a bit too. The Perth Hills area is stunning.
You will love Australia. There are many national parks, beautiful beaches and hiking spots !
Taiwan people are friendlier I found lol
Hey guys welcome to Oz Hope you enjoy our beautiful and BIG brown land. One Tip I will give you is stay hydrated and wear a hat and sunscreen our sun down here is no joke and you will get badly burnt so slip (on a hat) slop (on sunscreen) slap (on a hat)
oohh yeah one more thing enjoy the flies (you will learn the aussie salute soon enough) lol
I mean slip on a shirt lol

Welcome to Australia! 🇭🇲 Can't wait till see what you get up to here.
Perth looks beautiful. Also, Telstra is definitely the best if you’re going outback since they have the best coverage!
Indeed, we looked for Telstra in the airport and no luck. Will definitely look for a Telstra store when we re-up.
I was going to say I work at the closest Telstra store to the airport - but only just came across your video! Before you head over to Adelaide make sure you switch from Optus. Telstra is the only provider you’ll get rurally
Just dont get Telstra for home internet.
You darn right Perth is beautiful i live there

"We ended up settling for Optus" is honestly the most aussie thing you could have said.
Looks like you picked the right time to come. The train line from the city to the airport only opened recently. Also at 7:49 you walked straight past Perth's best fish & chips: Grand Lane.
Welcome to my home town. I run round the river around Elizabeth Quay almost every evening. Such a beautiful city.
Welcome to my home town guys. Can't wait to see Australia through your eyes.
It was fantastic to see our beautiful city of Perth! Enjoy Australia 🫶🇦🇺
Thanks for a great video. Looking forward to our visit to Perth next January 😊
To travel away from populated areas or away from main interstate roads you need TELSTA, virtually no other phones work.
Hello. Just wanted to let you both know I came upon your vlogs about two weeks ago and have enjoyed it since. I look forward to watching your past travels and recent destinations. Stay safe with more travels to come. Thank you both for sharing your amazing adventures with us.😁

Welcome to Perth!!

Yayyy, you guys made it! So cool to see you in another country, that tree in the bloopers was absolutely stunning🌳🤗
That tree is a Moreton Bay Fig tree. They grow enormous but the figs are not edible. They are native to Queensland.
welcome to perth. watch your back and your equipment, its like san fran here currently
Kings park is the biggest public park ( 4.06 square kms ) in the southern atmosphere, right in the heart of the city of Perth.
Welcome to Perth! Enjoy your stay here! 😊😊😊
I am so glad I found your videos of Australia. I have been watching all kinds of travel content of Australia and you guys are the first people who got a cellphone plan instead of trying to use your own cellphone company from home. enjoy Perth is such a beautiful city, reminds me of San Diego
Oh you are making me feel so homesick! Hope you liked our city
Welcome to Oz! Definitely get hats and sunscreen as several people have already advised. If you get to Melbourne, come up to the Dandenong Ranges for a hike in our forest. Enjoy

Perth is where I live! WA is a sunning State from top to bottom ❤
Apart from Halls Creek and a few places like that in the north.
Welcome to Australia! Definitely picked a good time as it’s the tail end of summer, so not extremely hot…though the weather has been a bit crazy in Australia at the moment, and I know that Sydney has definitely not been as hot as it has been in the past (La Niña in effect!). Welcome to my backyard. Hope you enjoy your stay here. Nice time of the year to be in Perth.
Please don’t give up making content in our country🎉
Like a lot of comments was nice to see this pop up in my feed. walked past the Bali Memorial where you had your pie this morning. Cool to see the city from a new perspective. Great job!
I live in Perth and didn’t know about the City of Lights! Crazy seeing Perth on TH-cam. Hope u enjoyed your stay.
Hope you guys make it to Sydney Have a great time.
Don't tell the other states ,but Sydney is my favorite ❤️👋🇳🇿
Welcome to Perth mates, so enjoyed the vid, the fireworks were great, that pie looked delish. Perth is stunning, enjoy your visit!!!
Great that you made it to Australia. Been a few times and loved it. Queensland is amazing.
Don't forget the hoop snakes.
Just starting the video and the 6:30 AM render on the grass did not go unnoticed, your editing is getting to whole new level. now back to watching the video :)
Welcome to Australia! Never seen your vlogs before but already really like your content and look forward to watching all your adventures here.
Thank you, Robert 😊
G'day. You blokes are so jammy, perfect timing. First the Thaipusam now the Light Festival. Good on yer. Cheers, Simon.

Not the best in the world but they're unpopulated, which is awesome
Perth is best to go from July to September... coldest is in July...
Fremantle is a must visit city town ...
Easily reach by public train and take only half an hour ride
Omg you picked a hot day to be here! You did well on ur first day with the heat. Hope u enjoy ur time here. Every city in Aus has a different vibe ❤ we are a relaxed bunch 😊 just watch out when walking around the city at night. And I agree curry puffs are the best thing in the world!
I hope you enjoy our big brown land and get to see some of the outback and wildlife.
Nice work. If you're coming to Melbourne be sure to go to an AFL footy match (preferably the Hawks). TIa and Cheveyo have just arrived again, so getting my wife to sit down and watch their first trip.
I have been to Perth a couple times. I stayed in Fremantle both times and LOVED ain’t. Highly recommend the small beach town! Safe travels
Welcome to Australia! ❤ Can’t wait to follow your adventures. Hope you will come to Sydney too 😄
i would think 99% of tourists go to Sydney
Welcome to Australia Tia & Chev you will have a wonderful time. Hope you are able to travel to Queensland lol looking forward to seeing your Australian journey 😍
Welcome to Perf. This time of year is usually in the 40c range so you’ve picked a great summer to come here. The UV rays will still be high hence the “stay hydrated “ comments. Good to see the airport train link working

Perth! My home town - but live in London now. Make sure you go to Rottnest Island and cycle around the whole island.
Welcome to Perth. Enjoy your time here. I'm on the Coast, about 50km/minutes south of Perth. Cheers
Welcome to Perth, make sure you go to our beautiful beaches, Scarborough & Cottesloe beach locally and beautiful Rottnest island and take a selfie with a quokker - enjoy.
I'm 19 and lived in perth my whole life, but this is the first time I heard it called the cityy of lights ;)
Welcome to Perth! Hop you enjoy your time here!
Welcome to Perth. How long are you here for? Rottnest and penguin island, Margaret river, yallingup, donsborough, bells rapids, swan valley, Yanchep are all places I’d suggest to look at while you’re here
Not sure how long we’re in Perth for, investigating our next steps. Absolutely falling in love with the area. Thank you for the tips!
First video I’ve seen, so far loving your energy! Thanks for vlogging your travels!✨✈️
Maybe I should travel to Perth! I've lived in Australia for 30 years and I've never been to Perth. It's a continent away from Sydney.
Ambassador Hotel Perth! Recognised it straight way👌
G'day guys, welcome to WA. Quick tip if you're gonna go bush, stick with Telstra. They'll work in places Optus won't. And most definitely do not underestimate the sun here. As we say....remember to Slip Slop Slap.
Good to know, thank you!
TELSTRA has the best coverage for Australia 🇦🇺
Hahahaha it's Telstra!
I hope you guys enjoyed Perth!
I went to Australia once, went to Sydney. How long will you be staying and any plans to going other parts of Australia?
Check out Freemantle and the market. Lots of cute towns on the way there as well.
