@@kharissa_gomezapart from the casual racism, bogans and being behind the rest of the world! Apart from "nice beaches" what have you got? I was there in 2019 and was very underwhelmed. Culturally dead.
Also I live directly opposite Elizabeth Quay on the peninsula on the other side of the river in South Perth. Fabulous view of the city lights at night. My daughter lives in #5 Fremantle. Come back again!
Born and bred in Perth, moved to the eastern states [Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland] for work in my 20's for seven years but came back to Perth to raise my family and settle down. When I was a kid Perth, the capital of Western Australia, was more like just a big country town with aspirations of becoming a metropolis. Now, with just over 2 million people living in and immediately around Perth, it has realised that status, but still managed to maintain a lot of the country town charm. I enjoyed living in the eastern states but I love living in Perth.
Oh, and if you do visit the Margaet River region, I suggest you plan on spending at least 3 days there. Plenty to see, the wine and food is crazy good. So many wineries and there's even a great cheese factory and chocolate factory which you can visit. Plenty of art galleries and makers of art, wine, jewellery, wine, pottery, wine, caves, wine, restaurants, whale watching [seasonal] Busselton township, Dunsborough, Yallinup, etc etc throughout the whole region. Renting a car is a great way to get around and see everything on offer. My wife and I have been going there every year for the last 15 years and still have not tired of the place. We generally spend 1 to 2 weeks down there every year. I highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your comprehensive comment - I can truly resonate as I lived both Sydney and Melbourne and now I am fully settled back to Perth and truly grateful of how blessed and lucky we are living in such a great City. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Perth is an amazing city, I have visited the place some thirteen times & usually stay out at Cottesloe Beach. I would love to move out permanently but I would miss my family & friends here in Ireland. My younger son has a home in Cottesloe but at 87 years old I'm gone too old to travel out now..
Thank you so much for your comment- I am glad you had the chance to visit Perth. It doesn’t matter what your age is Perth is so far from everything but it is beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️

While you're at Elizabeth Quay check out 18 Knots rooftop bar at the Hilton for canapes and drinks or a meal. Amazing views over the city and river from there! 😊
@kharissa_gomez oh! yes you are there 😊 thanks for the amazing videos you create, it's a fantastic showcase of Perth/WA and you give a great overview of the different places you visit.
Any kind of river cruise is highly recommended. Including a cruise towards Fremantle. Also, hire a bike and explore the cycle ways along the river, east and west of Perth. You can ride to Fremantle and along the coast. Then going further east you have incredibly quiet sections of river from Maylands through the Midland plenty of walks and minimal development along the river. To be so close to the city and yet have these quiet walking and picnic locations is quite incredible.
Nice video, a good look at some of the great places to see in and around Perth. W.A. is an amazing place, we have been filming it for many years and will never get to all the places we want to see.

Great video, I'd say you covered most of the best places. For those willing to hire a camper add Jurien Bay (Sandy Cape) just past the Pinnacles, and for those staying longer than a week or 2, Monkey Mia (Francois Peron NP if 4x4) and Exmouth (Ningaloo Reef), Karijini Gorges, Broome and with several weeks the Kimberleys. Without a doubt the most ecologically diverse state in the world.
I'd only recommend to people to ignore the number order. If I was visiting from overseas for 10 nights, 2 nights at Rottnest and 3 nights around Margaret River/Dunsborough (with car hire) would be my #1 and 2. Karijni #3 if between April an August.
