The TCL is a great budget TV. If you can afford £80 ppm for a full media package a £600 LG or other main brand is the bomb. If you can only afford internet access, at £320 with its FULLLY customisable android system (Downloader app and it runs IP vanish app Seamlessly) is def the way to go.
Not a good comparison. At near £1000, you can get any flagship from Samsung or LG be it OLED or QLED when the next years products are released. I would compare to a big brand tv that’s under £600 of which there are many. Even the Samsung Q60T is very inexpensive
Maybe Georgie Barrat just forgot--but she should know what Grange Hill is. She's 33 apparently. I'm only 4 years old and obviously know what it is. It even aired until 2008.
For the price of the TCL you can get an LG 55” 4K. For the price of the Sony you can get an LG 55” 4K OLED. They are both better options. The picture on LG 4K TVs will blow you away. I have an LG 40” 4K from 2016, and in 2022 I can still get the latest apps on its WebOS.
It's a waste of time doing these "Which is the better". It's obvious the big brand will always win. That's why they are better and more expensive. Because of top quality components.
Just sold my 2023 Sony on FB marketplace and Im gonna go buy a 10" bigger TCL Hisense Korea Kim IL Sung. Sony's platform is true garbage. A chipset from 2012. In 2023. The usb and the way it can handle a 1TB external hard drive is a joke. If I hold my iPad up the bluetooth gets laggy if I move away more than 3 meters you can forget your QC35iis. The broadband speed must be somewhere in the region of 10-15MBps (with my 135MBps Virgin fibre optic). The remote is appallingly low quality and falling apart after 3 months of light use. Plastic feels cheap af. No sleep timer. Dont even get me started on the menu and how laggy it is. The TCHisense Ching bong is also garbage but at least its only £300-350(!!!!) and its an 8" bigger screen. Get the TC whatever the fk and enjoy the bigger screen and sleep timer on the remote. Priorities. 😉😅

I went for the TCL because unfortunately the LG was out of stock or I would’ve gone for that first
OLED has a organic lifespan. It’s okay if you upgrade tv’s every 5 years.

Is the Sony £1000 better? Probably not.
