Best Prelude ever. Saw it on one of Danny's videos. Couldn't believe it. Finally someone with impecable taste gets his hands on a Prelude. Bravo.
Wow. Probably one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen coming out of the UK. Truly stunning... and it definately deserves a proper feature.

Tidwell absolutely. In my opinion they should strive for more than just to beat the frs
John Doe, no way. Even if they DO come out with a 6th gen Prelude, I could never get rid of my beloved 5th Gen BB6. The pure rawness and sheer analog feeling, the end of a golden era, pinnacle of the late 90s Honda. This last gen definitely aged so damn well, sexy body lines esp with the elongated front end and brute angles all around to that clean and well executed rear end. Its a goddamn classic.

Bring it back, as a RWD with a 50/50 weight distribution, 6 speed manual, with two options, a 250hp NA version and a 300hp turbo version.

@@Hakuna_My_Tatas most likely if Honda ever brings the Prelude it would be spoiled like most cars today. The Prelude would be a sedan or a crossover with a front wheel drive again. The body of the Prelude would be a hybrid mix between a Toyota Prius with a Nissan Cube front end.

Well I guess hat depends on which direction of stance you go. But ricers need to take note as well
mzondi1970 function over form. If the car can't go down a drag strip or do a few laps on a road course. Chances are its a ricer stance aka ricer car.

Beeeeauutiful 5th Gen. Currently building mine, k24a2 imported.Drag Cartel Stg 4's, supertech valve train, Supertech 88mm 12.5:1 cr. Currently trying to get hold of K-Tuned centre feed intake manifold and big tube header. I'm going to have to get in touch with these guys. I will NOT be selling when mines finished, Mrs or not!(H.O.B)Lol 😎👌🏽
kudzy11 how are you making the motor mounts for it?? I want to swap my k20c2 in my prelude but unsure were to start I have everything but don’t know we’re to start or how I would fab custom mounts

As for mods , that really depends on what you want to acheive and in what direction you'll take for your build I suppose.

I have a damn near mint 2001 prelude, black,5 speed, leather interior and I have to say, if I had the money, I'd buy this one to add to my honda stable,looks clean as f#** inside and out and would go like hell too, love it

Nice. I had a VTi with H22 years ago but sold it when my first daughter was born. that's a credit to him and all the best with the sale.
It's not lossed in my books, I had 2, my mum had 2 lol, and I will get another for a project. Not to long ago Adam I told u on Instagram live video to get a prelude. this is why. I love these cars.

Someone will buy it but closer to 12k if you ask me. You can buy a grade 5 fd2 for the money he wants. It's a shame because it's an amazing car. You should have showed Bon this Adam, he has a few quid for cars and I can't remember him owning a Prelude.

This is sweet, but why Kswap? The H22 would have been able to handle a centrifugal supercharger no problem. It’s like one of the most interesting parts of owning a 5th gen is its motor. I have a 5th gen type sh and I feel like k swapping a 5th gen is like LS swapping a rx7.

Ashbash I think it's really possibly, seen a lot of lower spec turbo dc5s with ropey bodywork go for 14-16k recently. This is literally mega clean so it's possible. Aim high can only get knocked down. Start low will only get lower man

Don't matter if it's a one off, The honda fanbase is a weird one, they would rather buy a heap and fix it up themselves alot more than other fanbases would it's hard to explain but once you build a honda for yourself it's kind of only good for you if you get what i mean, you couldn't just sell the car to someone else for that kind of money unless it was a top of the line spec prelude.

I wish I could find more info on how this was done, and what was needed. As I'm looking to swap a new engine in to my 98 Type SH. Or Rebuild its H22A4. But I'd love to have 306hp vs the 195 I'm kicking now. If I can keep it under 10 grand get the K20C1 and a six speed in it I'll be happy.

I am in the market for a Prelude. There is one near me with 134k miles for $5K. It has a new engine, new catalytic converter, new tires, as well as a new exhaust. It is also a manual. It also has had regular maintenance done to it, and previous owner used to to commute to school, which is what I plan to do. How reliable are these cars, and how much are maintenance costs? Any information is appreciated!

I have a 1997 Prelude with 257K on the clock with the original engine... It is my daily driver. Spare parts are cheap and she never breaks down... I just returned from Detroit with her...

I didn’t know it was possible to swap an k20 engine onto a prelude..otherwise I do it. Just replace mine with a jdm h22a...love the car but h22 tend to leak and burn oil
Xyooj Vaaj - there’s a K20 mini about so if your cars bigger than a mini it’s on 😄
just swap in a f23 block.. youll be able to build it to well past 400hp no sweat with boost.
Putting an imported K24a2 into mine.. aiming for 300 🐎's, Currently being built,,, slowly 🤫
