Great parts haul, that ‘60 was a time capsule. Starliner model of the galaxie had 2 doors and a fastback roof similar to the bubble top Chevy of the time. All of the parts you scored will fit on one, tho. Haven’t seen a junkyard with that kind of selection in decades! Keep up the good work.
What a junkyard and so many classic beauties to be seen! And how rustfree this stuff is! In other parts of the world cars like the Subeam would be cut up to have a ton of rustfree body panels. This mint Rambler (or is it a Nash) should be saved as a whole. Even if it is not very valuable. Some of those cars should not be in a junkyard at all! I could cry seeing that those vehicles will be all butchered. I agree I liked the white Barracuda as well. A friend used to own a twin of this one. They say the rear glass is worth a lot. I do not know if this is true.
Great video ! Takes me back to 90s when I was looking for parts for some of my csrs.....all i had for tools was simple things that would fit in your pockets lol crescent wrenches vice grips pliers and screw drivers...modern cordless electric tools back then coulda been a game changer for sure ! I
Hahaha when I first started I was using just a ratchet and simple tools as well so I know how it is. Power tools are definitely lifesavers in the junkyard. Especially a sawzall!
I think the 1960 Starliner would be a cool car to lower/customize a little ...one year only and nothing Ford has made since looks so space age IMO Great video
When I was a kid we had an auto wrecking yard / Junk yard and someone brought in a mint 60 Ford convert. It was black with red interior with a black top. My brother carefully drove us, top down around the fields with all of us five kids in it. That car needed nothing, not even waxed. The guy that sold it to my dad came back a few weeks later and asked to buy it back so my dad took the money and he drove it away. We got it back the next year just trashed. Was a total shame.
Haha cool story, I could only imagine growing up with a wrecking yard. That’s a shame on the car, I guess back then people didn’t care for “old” cars like they do now haha

That is a regular 4 door Galaxie, not a Starliner. A Starliner has a bubble top, with two doors

That is a 500 sedan. Skyliner was a convertible. Starliner was a 2 year only bubbletop fastback.

"Skyliner" was the retrackable hardtop, "Sunliner" the standard drop top.
You missed out on the Barracuda Parts no one is reproducing very viable that back window is super viable they do not make them
