Where oh where are you Omar? No videos?
Awesome video man keep up the great work!!!
Basically any 93 and earlier small block Ford had a AOD behind it
Was nice to see Willow Springs again. Used to go out there now and then when the Alltime Racing club would be out there. Loved it, never knew what kind of cars you would see. From Rabbits to Mangustas! Always something interesting to see. I moved the end of '06 so been a day or two! Love the ol Ford, the right amount of patina and all!
Wheres the 2nd one?
That’s back when ford gave a fuck about their product so much they’d made performance pieces from their own factory to improve engines and truly fine tune them. Not like today’s shit where it’s all gonna end up in the state ref, impounded, or on factory lock out if you try playing around.
Catching up on your videos. Great Enthusiasm for the hobby!!
Do you still have the cyclone
Man I been following you off and on since I got my 63.5 galaxie. Hurt me seeing all that work into the 428 come undone on you. Crazy that it cracked like that a d allowed the coolant into the oil pan . I picked up a D4TE FE block that I'm going to stroke out to a 445. It's on holding pattern because trick flow does have there FE in stock plus the tye local machine shop is months behind so they can take in my block to work it and the few builders I seeked out are slammed, temporarily closed or not taking on projects... old cars can be full of problems and full of surprises.... I just hope things smoothly for you the rest of the way. Not many people out there who are trying to keep these beauties on the road any more. Glad to see you are.
sounds mean awesome stuff Omar
What does the ball valve on the bottom of the hopper do? Does it let in air from the top?
very nice!!
What type of paint are you using on the emblems? And what are the color codes or names for the red and blue?
Damn Omar. It's been two months. Where did you go ?
I will post a video on what is going to happen soon!
Vacuum line is in the wrong port unless your engine has control emissions. Also, not sure the cable grounded to the carb will work with the new insulator on.
Port vac is right ? Why manifold vack for vacume advance
@@jesseparadis6141 That's what the Edelbroock manual says.
You're missing an original set of 14x7 mini lites made in england which I happened to have :) I'm using them on my 64 Ranchero R-model :)
Omar, what’s up? I am really missing your videos man! Hope all is well with you and yours. Keep the good work going. Dave K
Hi David, I’ll be uploading a video soon on what’s going on!
That comet is a giant turd
You never know where you are going to find these treasures. Just today I took my wife to an antique store not really expecting to find anything except overpriced junk but of all places I end up finding a beautiful horn ring with the Mercury man in the center out of what I believe to be a 63 Comet. Now I don’t have a comet but for the price I figured I could use it on my 67 F100 😂
That was super cool Omar. I love that car. 👍🏻
option 1
I thought we werent supposed to use pushrod checkers to test valve stem tip wear patterns? Supposedly, theyre not strong enough for the "stock" springs?
Here from watching the Hagerty episode :).
Just an FYI there is a way to take off that knob on the cable. I have found a video and done it myself.
Nice jams. If I had this music playin in my garage, I could work all day on my car. Lovin’ the channel!
Wow, what a time capsule. I took one just like this apart in 1992 and it looked terrible inside. Oil sludge in huge clumps everywhere.
I have an FE in a 55 Ford Victoria, factory solid lifters . Says a 62 motor . How do I tell if it's a 390 or a 406 ? The intake was changed . It runs very strong .
do you need the front fender chrome above the tun signals
4:29 I need that if the chrome is good do you need fender chrome for your fast back (goes above front turn signals) I have a spare pair
Hey Omar I like your videos I just wish you’d make more and more often
Thanks David! I will be uploading a video soon! I will have an update about the videos as well
The FE block 352; 360; 390; 409; 427; 428 are all the same block just bored and stroked for cubic inch display.
I found out about your channel from watching Hagerty
Very cool! Welcome to the channel
Great video! What about FT (heavy truck) engines. Such as the 330 - 391 ..How do you identify them?
Really nice car. I’m building a 64 390 fastback myself. One thing I noticed is that your valve covers don’t have breathers or pcv openings and it looks like your intake also has no openings for crank case pressure. Unless I’m missing something let me know but I’m just looking out for all the seals in your engine.

I know this video is 2 years old and I don't wanna sound like I'm "monday morning quarterbacking" but after doing some research come to find out they sell a headliner tacking strip. Summit racing sells a roll of 3/16" x 11/16" x 15' semi-hard rubber strip and goes for $25.79. It's a multi-purpose material so it can be used for different applications.
EFF THE EFF YESSSSSSSS!! Sounding firme carnal 😎👌
I know this video is a year old. But next time you see a supercharger sitting on a engine like that. I would definitely take that with you. I would definitely buy it
Can you fit a 351W in that falcon?
You the only one who ever did
Wow what a great thorough video man ! I just bout a 1960 and am going to change the rubber brake lines, napa has them for like 60 bucks each ! Auto zone has them for 10.00 .....did you change yours ? Where did you get the brake parts ? Were you happy with them ? Thanx !
Hi David, all the rubber lines were changed. I believe I bought them from Autozone. I forgot how much they were, but they are good quality. I also got them for my 64 comet and no problems with them
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie right on man, thanks for the reply! Did you find that because yours is a 62 that ball joint was for the 62 only?.... or do I need to find that super rare ball joint also for 1960? (If i end up needin it) .....Your Falcon is Gorgeous...!! You're gonna trip when you see this 60...ima try to put some vids of it up....only 42 k miles.... did you see the video on here, "1960 Ford Falcon windy road" ? Pretty cool with Kennedy inaugural stickers from early 60's
I think 1960-1962 are the same ball joint but I would confirm on yours and look under there. I haven’t seen that video I’ll check it out! I love to see time capsules it’s really cool
I think the 1960 Starliner would be a cool car to lower/customize a little ...one year only and nothing Ford has made since looks so space age IMO Great video
Hmmm, the motor in my 63 tbird has threaded holes in the block above the oil pan, but no bolts in them. I always thought this strange. they don't go through the block obviously or i'd be losing oil. I just assumed it's a 390.
Ah, a little googling tells me they were used for transmission cooler lines in 61 and Ford changed the lines to the drivers side in 63 i think so that's why there's nothing threaded in the holes. Seem like large holes for a bracket.
Way to go Omar! I hope you can get some Edelbrock heads , a 428 and a rowdy roller cam, 525 hp anyone?
I like how a bunch of these involve having the head off. At that point you might as well just measure the bores and see that it's a 428 based off of that.
I love this first start. Even with the bit of smoke. What tranny and rear gears you aiming for?
Very helpful on the one wire upgrade, I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my 1972 f100
Look at you go Omar! Too many guys today don’t touch their broken cars because they don’t have the perfect tools, but not you. I salute you! From an old guy who did the same
What carburetor do you have on the 302?
