    Droga Dr Andrea. Proszę o tlumaczenie tego filmiku w języku polskim, ponieważ nie znam języka angielskiego. Dziękuję za vwszystkie bardzo przydatne Twoje filmiki i niech Bóg Cię za to wynagrodzi. Jestem z Polski, mam 84 lata, a 9 miesięcy temu przeszedlem udar podstawy pnia lewej półkuli mózgu, w następstwie którego mam niedowład kończyn prawej strony ciała. Do dzisiaj nie jestem całkiem sprawny, dlatego jestem bardzo szczęśliwy że na TH-cam natrafiłem na Twoje z których staram się korzystać, bo są najlepsze i najbardziej zrozumiałe dla mnie i przynoszą poprawę mojego stanu. Zdrowia po przebytym udarze, będą dalej kontynuował zalecane ćwiczenia. Niech Cię Bóg wynagrodzi za Twoją pomoc, której udzielasz ludziom potrzebującym pomocy w dojściu do zdrowia. Łączę wyrazy szacunku i poważania. Józef. ❤❤❤❤❤l❤❤

    Hi Dr Andrea. i have basal ganglia haemorrhage stroke last Feb21. arm & finger function return already. i can lift my arms and open up wrist as normal but if feels very stiff snd tight more and more after 5 month ( i started work from home, mainly sitting infront of laptop. doing housework also sometimes easily tired). so i take medical leave again i hope to get this painful stiffness and rigid loosen. is this also call spasticity? can exercise reduce this again? is it true that spasticity happen because we don't exercise much? will it be prevented if exercise consistently since stroke? any case spasticity still happen even we consistently exercise? Thank you doctor

    • @DrAndreaFurlan
      @DrAndreaFurlan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spasticity is not a result of lack of exercise.
      Spasticity happens when there is damage in the cells that control the muscle tone. It is a disease of hypertonicity.

    • @azwaniabdulrahim4042
      @azwaniabdulrahim4042 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dr.Andrea, thank you for that clarification. Is it mean that even function returns (flaccid phase recovered), but the spasticity can set in anytime after few month? any timeline or different people to people? i will try continue all exercises as recommended by you. also will check with my PT regularly. Indeed this is a very challenging moment, hardwork and patience will help hopefully. i wish recovery to a better life one day. Have a nice day.
