I think he said IT rolled early. So we're talking about the camera, thus the cameraman.
I had to rewatch that too to confirm bc I was like "what" but after rewatching he deffinitly said IT rolled early, as in the camera
The stuntman checking the airbag multiple times in multiple places before he jumps just shows you how involved you need to be for certain tasks

My friends and I were wearing what were essentially Padawan braids in the 80s. George Lucas was pretty astute about repurposing everyday items and looks into Star Wars.

So much work for a 2 second segment of the movie. And people say the prequels are lazy
Probably referring to the the second and mostly the third in the trilogy, with the over reliance of green screen sets and CGI.

Sven Wagner actually episode 1 used a whole lot of practical effects, and practical sets, and miniatures. Its just that they look like CGI and people assume it was all CGI. There is a video on it.

This looks like Anakin's sky-dive thing, chasing after the assassin in Episode 2. Obiwan didn't do that in the duel with Darth Maul.
I think it's when Darth Maul kicks obi-wan off the platform, before they get into the force field corridor thing. Anakin has darker clothes in episode 2

One of the greatest things about being George Lucas is when you’re directing a movie you don’t even need to be there to direct it.
Wrong. Most movies have 2nd units, with seperate crew and director that do pickup shots, b roll and stunts.
