    Absolutely Gorgeous looking rifle. The black ceracote just pops off that lovely walnut. Nice choice of scope, bipod and sling! Happy shooting

    ...I've just bought the same rifle in laminate wood with the cerakote finish, fitted a Vortex 6x24 FFP Diamondback and I'm off to a 500 yard range to test ammo at the weekend...I can't wait!!

      Excellent stuff mate. I recently sighted it in with a different load and now its grouping fantastic. Its easily my favourite rifle to shoot. Keep us posted on how yours goes. Cheers Jamie

      @@urban2outland ..will do! I'm only shooting factory ammo but have some ADI in 55grn Blitzking and 69grm SMK, plus some 63grn Geco FMJ and Federal GMM 69grn. Just hope it likes the cheaper stuff!

      @@urban2outland ...so shot @100, 300 & 500 yards. I only tried the Geco 63grn because it was so good! 3 shots to zero @100 (from bore sighting) then to 300. Strelok calculated 14 clicks but it only needed 10, so the 3050 fps muzzle vel maybe be too low? Consistently hitting bull, so out to 500. Strelok wanted 21 clicks but I think it took more.... Scoring 4-5's with a couple of V-bulls despite the wind, so overall very happy for my first time over 100 yards!

      Hi, found the SMK 69grn to be the best weight and have shot it out to 1000yards but the Sako Racehead factory loads are getting expensive and hard to find in the UK , so I've decided to start reloading. Bought 500 bullets but what powder/weight should I try?!

    Hey mate, beautiful rifle! Did you order it new in walnut with black cerakote? It’s the first in that combo I’ve seen. All the walnuts I see are titanium

    • @urban2outland
      @urban2outland  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Zac. Yeah its a real nice rifle, i love the set up. I ordered the walnut with black cerakote through a gun shop because i wanted it to look more traditional. Most shops i went to only had the laminate stock with titanium cerakote in stock which isn't the set up i wanted. Thats also why i made this vid, because i couldn't really get a good look at the walnut and black version. Im hoping to put a few more vids up soon with it in action. Thanks for watching. Cheers mate.

    thanks for the great vid are you able to do a rough price breakdown of the set up in AUD? looking to get similar set up Lithgow look like they are great value.

    • @urban2outland
      @urban2outland  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the good feedback mate, I appreciate it. I put some links in the video description which might help. Although here are some rough prices to get you started. Lithgow 1600, scope 1150, sling 45, bipod 55. I found some places had good sales worth looking at also. Postage might need to be added on these items aswell so remember to factory that into your budget if you can't get it at your local. Hope this helps mate, any questions feel free to let me know, more than happy to help. Cheers and be safe.

    G'Day mate, great rifle and vid! What brand of rings did you choose?

    • @urban2outland
      @urban2outland  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate, i cant remember what brand the rings are because i bought them from a gun shop that was closing down and they didn't have packaging, however burris rings a bell but dont quote me. Cheers for watching mate.

    Awesome set up, may I ask but does a slightly higher scope set up affect accuracy🤷‍♂️ I'm no expert obviously

    • @urban2outland
      @urban2outland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate. Its a great set up. This weekend ill be out shooting rabbit's with it so ill get some footage and make a vid using it. Ideally you would want to get the scope as close to the barrel as possible without it actually touching it. Maybe leaving roughly a 2mm gap. But.... having a slightly higher scope will mean you will have to adjust your scope to suit. Sometimes you can run out of adjustment when sighting in, but id imagine that's pretty rare. Cheers for watching mate and thanks for your support. Any other questions feel free to ask.

      @urban2outland  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It shoots like a dream. I am still sighting it in and working out a good load for it, but at 80mtrs bullet holes were touching. When i get some more time i plan on making another vid shooting it. Cheers for watching mate.

      @@urban2outland. Thanks for the reply. Sounds like your doing your own load development? Have you been able to take it out on a hunt or is this just a target rifle? Dose the barrel heat up quick & dose it open up accuracy once it gets hot?
      Do you find the 22” barrel a bit long for hunts? Is the barrel a true varmint barrel? Do you happen to know if it can safely shoot 5.56 ammo?
      New to the spot/hunting. Really looking at one of these as a first. Thanks.
