Dude, love’n all that black on the frame, wheels, forks, etc. Then the Cream tank with brown leather on the seat! Great color scheme with a real throwback pre 1940’s feel!!! You should be so proud of this bike. It’s class son, class!!!
I have a CB750 I'm currently working on myself and I love how you showed exactly how to do the rear u-bar/seat it turned out fantastic. I think the bike would be flawless with different gauges that sit a little lower.
th-cam.com/video/A1rE5FgIUk0/w-d-xo.html check this video out. He uses pea shooter exhausts, which they have a unique sound. Twin exhaust pipes will improve the sound of the 4-cylinder engines,so as a mechanical engineer i recommend that option👌
I like that you kept the stock carburetor setup, Often times the 2 carburetor setups for these bikes make it run worse and are harder to tune, and when all 4 carbs have pod filters sometimes when going fast the engine bogs from the 2 center cylinders not getting enough air.
Building a 1978 , CB550-4 much like this and I like BOTH would love to find a good clean low mileage 750 myself. thanks for taking time to show us all ! .
great bike, i use simoniz tough paint for my black parts it is truly amazing , i painted my wheels , forks and frame 5 years ago and its still perfect and no flaking , its really thick like a primer and comes in satin or gloss, stuffs the nuts.....
I really love this bike, and will use your video as a model for my 750 project next year hopefully. Maybe you should give some more details about tyre sizes and few more elements of the build. So far my favorit SevenFifty on this channel!
Dude, judging from your plates you’re in jersey. I’m in jersey too. I just did a honda cafe like style. More like brat look. 74 cb750. Rewired the whole thing and did some welding. Yours looks good.
Do you guys know of any place in North Jersey I could bring/store a bike to do a build like this? I'd love to do it on my own(I just lack equipment, space to work, and all knowledge of motorcycles lol)
You should really think about becoming more invested on these builds. There’s a huge fan base behind them and you’re pretty good at it. Almost half a million views on just this one video that’s insane!!! Hope to see more like this in the future 🙏🏼
Thank you for that! I actually have another old cx laying around. I was trying to sell as is, but you are having me now think of just doing another build and video! thanks
@@awdrifter3394 yes we use kilometers, but still, 10k km a year is pretty normal for anyone who rides daily. My 2015 thruxton has 50k kilometers right now

great video! It's not gonna be on bike exif top 10 but it's a gorgeous machine and you prove people don't need a crazy budget, just luck (cheap nice runing bike) and ebay grease (and a welder). One thing, I noticed other mechanical videos on your chanel, why did you left the frame tabs and exhaust untouched? Time constraints? Or trusting Honda Engineering? Pd. saw you had 666 subscribers, just in case you're not an iron maiden fan 💀
Interesting modifications. I like the way that this video shows a simple, practical approach. I gave it a like. I am wondering if it never rains where you are. Don't you need mudguards for the wheels?
120k bike. Dont be mean to it, the primary drive chains tend to break. I've got a mostly restored 76 CB750k, great bikes. I've put 300 miles on it in the past week lol.
Awesome awesome bike build man. And well put together video. I am a new rider, I just bought my first bike which is a SSR Motorsports Bucanneer 250i. It has that cafe look from the factory and is super fun to ride, however I want to tidy up the rear by removing the rear upper fender, and putting in some sort of fender eliminator thats universal. Any ideas on a good one to get that could incorporate the turn signals and brake lights and license plate holder?
Great build. Considering doing the same with a bmw k100. Have one im looking at, with clean title, 100k miles, for like $400.Just doesn't currently run. Also I'm a novice.
Nice work. I call myself the Budget Biker due to my lack of funds. I have a 75 CB550F Supersport that i rescued from someone in Austin. I put a lot of work rebuilding it. It was a mess. The chrome muffler and pipes are scratched and or getting rust. I want to pull them and do what you dud. What spraypaint brand did you use for the grill paint and did you prep the surface first?
Nice job mate👍🏻 Good choice on the handle bars too! The downside to clip ons is the uncomfortable position but nice compromise. Only thing I could pick on was the unpainted engine mounts at the front. Well done 👏🏻 Cheers from Down Under.
@@motoblast3574 My point is no mudguard means all the wet muck from the road will be thrown all over you and the bike. Yes I have ridden in the rain I live in England where it rains more often than it does not, it also get pretty cold in the winter round here (live in the Chilerns a high area) but we don't get snow much thank god. Yes have ridden all year round, it gets tough on the bike and rider I find. Mudguards, fairings and proper chain guards blunt some of the down side of wet weather unless of cause you like hunting for mystery electrical issues at the side of the road in the rain.
@@motoblast3574 Thanks, it's not the wet I have issue with it's the mix of smutts of fuel, brake & tyre dust, mud and other stuff that gets plastered all over everything in a grey/brown grimmy layer thats the problem.
Honda's never die they just need remodeled every few decades to fit current styles

running with no header, sounds like a motorcycle that Sponge Bob would ride XD

Lol the no header sound clip haha
It came out pretty good indeed, the only thing that hits on my eyes is the muffler...a smaller one should be nicer

Nice job man. I build custom bikes for a living. Building this without any experience and out of your garage it turned out great.

This is something we should've been doing in highschool shop classes here in Texas back in the late 80's
That would be great
Looks fantastic. This is the style bike I love. Well done.
Many thanks!
This turned out really slick for a cheap build. Very impressed
GREAT JOB SUNNY JIM. LOOKS 100 PER CENT BETTER
You're lucky to have the pre-1977 carbs. Much simpler and easier to tune than the PDs.

You could but he said right in the video that he didn’t want the lower handlebars.
