Very nice Dan! 😊👍🏻
I can’t wait for the next videos!
Greetings from an elderly German bike lady which loves the CB 750 ❤
So glad to see a video and it’s another great one. Looking forward to this build.
The engine color is awesome! So glad to see something other than black!!!
Thank you mate, I just wanted to see how red would look in the black so fingers crossed it looks as good when the bike is fully assembled as it does in my head
It's just fascinating to see your attention to details 🤩 Looking forward to see the engine build, you have set the bar high 😋
Since you’re so specific about lines on your builds maybe you should look into cantilever suspensions. I think you could probably make some really clean builds with that setup.
Very cool idea mate :)
Man i love your video's. Im building a honda cb50 caferacer moped. This is great inspiration and techniques. Keep it up
super as usual Dan. i have always admired that you will not settle for second best; if something can be better you make it better.
Hi Dan, it's been a minute as you dropped off my feed. Glad it came back (hitting the bell icon). Your work has just gone next level. Some amazing tools you have now in your home machine shop! Really great stuff.
Now I get to go back amd catch up on everything I have missed!
Thank you, mate; so glad you're back. I missed seeing your comments pop up on each new video
Excellent video Dan, great job mate. You have some great toys to make parts with, you make me jealous LOL and I thought it was only me and my mate that are silly enough to keep making part after part until we are happy . Ride safe and take care. Cheers
Thank you mate and it's good to see you are enjoying the videos, plenty more still to come :) keep making those parts
Another great vid young sir! I’m always excited to see a new episode arrive on my feed. ❤👊
Really enjoy watching bespoke parts and ideas. Keep up the good work. Best wishes from U.K.
Thank you mate its fun to make them too :)
Nice vid man, and making your own tools, that's the sign of a real mechanic!
Thank you mate, yes I often make a tool to do a specific job however, I don't often share it in the videos, have a great day mate
Well done! You've come a long way since rivet nuts!
Cheers!
I think you are 100% right John, Im all about "Learn, Do, Teach" so others can benefit too :)
Hi, lovely job Dan, that garage is getting small with all those nice tools !! thanks . Gus
Thanks mate, yes it is but It's ok because everything is on wheels so I can still manage for now, eventually, I will get a big space with a mezzanine
Nice work Dan 👌🏼
Great work mate 👏
Good content dan,,we just need more of it fella
I do my best mate, and thank you
Muito top demais show de técnicas de produção desenvolvimento muito profissional parabéns abraços Daniel Dmotos aqui do Brasil.
Thank you mate :)
dan i think it would be greate if u made a cover to fill the gap for the swing arm from the side.
I might still play with a few ideas on that, thanks mate
Awesome work 👌
Thank you
Like the video but i dont see the point in converting to mono if your not losing a lot of weight in the process, needs a alloy swing arm itself.
Awesome stuff from across the ditch - your videos have helped me heaps in a custom build over in NZ. One question I have though, do you need to get the bikes certified to be street legal? Cheers.
Hi mate and thank you. If you do custom work, you might want to check with your local transport department before making massive changes
It looks like the shock mounting point on the swing arm is too low . When the swing arm moves you are going to end up with a falling rate
xe máy đẹp quá bạn ơi tôi đằng kỳ video của bạn xong rồi lại cho xin một like nhé bạn nhé 👍♥️🥰
thank you mate
Nice work, I would have welded the upper potion of the swingarm. Why did you have to make it bolt on?
It can also be a welded-on part if that's what you want. I just prefer this style for this build and this will make more sense in the coming months :)
Dan, I've been wondering about something and not sure which video this most applies to. On the engine it's settled by the factory what all the torque specs are, easy peasey. The question is, how do you decide on torque specs for an item you engineer and add to the motorcycle frame or otherwise?
@@mitchbrown1403 that is an extremely good question and I like to use nyloc nuts when possible or even Loctite to avoid anything coming loose but it’s also a good idea to put a bit of white marker on the nut and the part to see if anything has moved overtime
Will you need an engineer certificate for this modification ?
I think a CNC machine next is on the cards 🤣
haha I cant say I haven’t thought about it :)
Of course if you have all those tools you can even make an airplane
Hoping that you're eventually going for that '80s Superbike look. I'm completely over the "brat" thing.
Do you know anyone who can make custom wheels?
if only i had access to all of this gear, i think i could create something as well
Hi
👍👍👍👏👏👏🤟
