STR TV the 612 , the 456 and 400 and 412 were aĺl 4 seater v12s and all looked better than this monstrosity . A 4 seater or 2+2 ferrari is supposed be elegant and understated . This just isnt !

I think the Top Gear trolls are starting to realize how good Chris really is. He is truly the man and the best car "reviewer" on the planet. No questions. Glad Top Gear gave him the platform to show his skill.
know what my worry was,, thinking chris was gonna get watered down by the top gear mentallity.. Im so glad he's managed to maintain his youtube presence 'even' if it does have the Tg brand.
I wouldn't be surprised if he had this as a condition of him joining, that he could still do online content with Neil, and i'm glad it's still happening.

Tesla... One trick pony, naff interior and rather unexciting drive. Once a month I drive 300 miles to London and the Tesla cant do that in one charge and to cap it off it cost a fair bit more than my current vehicle.
To own a Tesla you would have to *really* want a Tesla specifically.

Hard not to miss the renegade Harris of old who was capable of giving properly harsh criticism of Ferraris, before they banned him from driving them and he came crawling back with suspiciously complementary reviews. Definitely don't remember most of those FF criticisms when he actually owned the car either.

Spoken like someone who is very naive. Ferrari know full well anyone who can afford to pay 250k for a car can afford the options. Why do you think "options" are a concept. Because car companies know they can fleece people dry over them. My point stands. This car is better with the roof, and even though it's another 11k, when you're spending 250 already, make it 260. It's like if you build a house, your dream house for 500k, and a pool is 10k, and the house is better with the pool. Pay 510. The roof is good money well spent.

Completely worth it, yes it's overpriced but probably not as much as we think, glass like that is not cheap (curved, weather/scratch/UV resistance, bespoke r&d, single panel, ect)
If you can afford the oil changes you can afford this car!

Chris Harris is currently the top motor journalist who can drive and race in any type of car. His videos are great motoring fun and he capture real life experience to the limit for all the cars he reviewed .
So you can change songs and check the instruments by looking to your right or you can pay 3000€ and have it displayed in front of you. This is truly the golden age of technology. -.-
For those whose partners find it inconvenient to reach slightly to their right. I can imagine the type. ;)
I think most people in financial situation stable enough to buy a car like this have slightly different view of inconveniences...why wouldnt they, ay?:-D
Great review Chris. Thoroughly enjoyed the fact that it wasn't all about shredding tyres on a track. I like that stuff, I do, but I finished this review feeling like I now know something substantial about this car. Hmm, now where did I put that 280 thousand pounds...?

Great car for those whose neighbors just got the new Panamera.
Cloxxki not really considering the panamera is one of if not the fastest car in its class for a fraction of the price, not hating the Ferrari it's an absolute masterpiece
I'd rather have Panamera than this. It's way nicer. And WAY cheaper.
Kristián Kopáčik Porsche is my favourite company, and the panamera is brilliant and all but saying it's nicer than this just isn't true, sure it's a bit too expensive but that doesn't make it worse
well it is nicer. now argue with me - you see, it's subjective. If the FF was looking like a bit longer 2 door 1 series BMW, this is just too long and wide for what it is. You can have tens of coupes/berlinettas which look way better than this including couple of Astons. This is hardly a school run car.
Panamera has 4 doors which make it better saloon/hatchback/liftback/4-door coupe (whatever these cars are), bigger boot, much more conventional controls like a 'normal car', interior in different colors other than BROWN (welcome to 1970s), and still doesn't cost USD 300.000! 488 GTB, one of the best sports cars of today costs 250.000, 911 Turbo S (the same) 200.000, more powerful McLaren 720S is cheaper as well.
And Panamera's got normal 4 wheel drive system, not 2 gearboxes on different sides of the engine, while the front one doesn't even have proper number of gears - just to make centre of gravity few cm lower - that's for people with adenoids.

The rear wheel steering is something you can truly only experience in person, I test drove a Panamera Turbo last year and it was eye opening.
This is one of those cars that I would absolutely love to own one day.

Filmed near the disused quarry on Llangynidr Road with Llangorse Lake in the distance along with the pointed peak of Sugar Loaf mountain. The quarry was recently used to recreate the town of Svalbard for the upcoming BBC series His Dark Materials.
Beautiful from spring until autumn it becomes a very grey and bleak place in winter. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Ok one gripe: The camera angles changing every 3.5 seconds while you were reviewing the interior is rather spastic and needs work. And there isn't a single good shot of the infotainment system in action.

i was actually looking for a comment that mentioned how mediocre the shooting of this video is. The camera is just shaking for no real reason (other that it's being hand held) in many shots from the interior. Also, the editing... meh..
I am pissed because I am in film school at the moment and I'm pretty sure that I could have done this whole video better lol. It's just that I would have tried more and you would have seen the difference.

The FF & Lusso are cars that aren't fully appreciated until you are in one or around one in person. The length of them is stunning, so much bigger than anything else I've spent time with. The interior materials are insane.. The first time I sat in an FF I realized what real leather was.

Being honest, When I first saw the hatchback Ferrari I thought it was silly to not have a more sporty mid-engined 488 or something two seater. Now I'm completely in love with it reminds me of the 250 "Breadvan" to a degree. Big V-12, rakish profile, more affordable than many other exotics. Option the Novitec valved exhaust and What's not to love?
Another entertaining and thoughtful review by the best automotive video journalist in the world. The GTC4Lusso as he describes it is a gorgeous, monstrous, agile, auditory and tactile delight with practicality to boot. It reinforces my love for my Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS, also a front/mid-engined, Ferrari powered and built (normally aspirated 4.7 liter V8) four-seater. While the Ferrari has four more cylinders and 200+ more horsepower, the Maserati is eminently agile, feels and sounds just as good, has two more doors, and is perhaps even more beautiful and elegant inside and out. Of course I would have the Lusso and its extra power if I had $420K burning a hole, but I'm more than content with my QP. Thank you, Mr. Harris.
Ferrari should have went to Samsung for the screen.

valenesco45 the issue is more to do with the fact that the FF is meant to be a GT, so GT owners expect a quiet mode. Like how the DB11 has a quiet start up mode.
GT means ENJOY YOUR CAR AND TRIP, how can you enjoy your trip with a boring ass car? If you didnt want noise you could buy a pathetic nissan leaf.
valenesco45 actually the term GT dates back to the days of horse drawn carriages. btw most Rolls Royce's and Bentley's, Aston martins, jaguars are GT cars. So boring is an understatement. Might want to look into the history of grand touring before talking. crap.
