For someone like me, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is a car that will always stand above all the rest. All-wheel-drive, a big angry N/A V12, room for four, a brutal soundtrack, and looks that will take your breath away. It's the perfect recipe for a car in my opinion. A recipe that is dying, and will soon be forgotten, remembered only by those fortunate enough to have tasted it. You guys did this car a favor by giving it such a masterpiece of a car review. For that I thank you. You brought me to tears for a car that I didn't know I loved so much.
Too bad I've never seen one tested. The less powerful already trapped 128-129 mph on 1/4 mile. This is probably above 130 mph. It's light, spacious, luxurious, with a good 48/52 weight distribution. Awd also. Really can't find anything wrong with this.
Also check out Jason Camisa on the icons and Revelations on Hagerty, he’s the king for me but TH is pretty close, right with Chris Harris for number 2. Just personal preference.
Seeing this after three years made me re-love FF and Lusso looks and practicality. What gorgeous machines these are. But above everything else, how freaking good it sounds? No stupid continuous banging and crackling on the shifts, just beautiful engine noise that keeps building and reaching ever higher, again and again. A bit of pop on the downshifts is cool, but many manufacturers over do it so badly nowadays.

A wagon/estate is based on a sedan, with examples like the A6 Avant, E-Class T-Model or the Volvo V90 (which is considered the only "Oberklasse" wagon in germany, which puts it in the same segment as the S-Class or A8)

The FF/GTC4 Lusso are some of my favorite Ferrari's ever, I remember asking Ken Lingenfelter one time out of all his cars what his favorite was and he said his FF.
It's a sad day when this got canceled in favor of an "SUV" although considering the spy shots with the Maserati bodywork, the purolasagne will be as low to the ground that it couldn't even drive over a small stone
Lexus's new IS500 is such a bold move, NA V8 in 2021. If Lexus can put that out to the world, Ferrari probably will be able to make NA V12s until the end of times. I'm personally not a fan of Ferrari as a brand but man, they make some incredible pieces of art, fast art.
Sad thing is, they could just build a tiny 1l V12 that runs on natural gas or synthetic fuel and use it for a hybrid drivetrain but they won't do it, they will just stop building engines only to maximize profit and make up stupid lies about pure EVs saving the planet just to hide their greed.

Even the Ferrari F1 V10s used to sound better than their contemporaries. Roaring off into the distance on a sunny day, the others sounded like brilliant violent engines...but the Ferraris always had a certain melody to them. It's the exact picture and sound playing in my mind immediately when I think about words like "F1" or "Schumacher". Makes me all warm and fuzzy. God knows how they did that.
That sound coming from the exhaust pipes is without comparison. Absolutely melodic sound that can’t be produced by anything but a naturally aspirated V12.

My boss at a performance mechanic I worked at for a while owned one of these. One day, his daily was low of fuel, so he naturally drove his GTC4 to the workshop. I asked him what owning one was really like. He loved driving it, but said that the fuel was super frustrating. Keeping in mind he wasn't a super wealthy guy, not like most Ferrari owners. However it still baffled me that he drove it to work as his daily alternative.
This is the ultimate daily driver. If I could afford it, I don’t see why I would ever look at anything else for a daily. Sod the Purosangue or any of the other “super” SUVs. I am so sad nobody else offers shooting brakes because they are just so damn sexy and perfect.

I really don’t like the straight pipes, throttle house has such amazing production, genuine depth and character between Thomas and James and they are also huge car needs that don’t try too hard to be something their not.

If you guys are ever in the Seattle area I've got an 812SF you could use for a video. The videography in this was fantastic, and I like that you guys were positive on the lusso. The 812 is another level above the lusso.

As mind-boggling as it sounds, this is my favourite Ferrari ever! Except for the F40 maybe. :) I really dig a shooting brake. The only thing missing is a rear windshield wiper! It is just perfect otherwise.
I am from Europe, Switzerland. Your review is one of the best I've seen. It really points out the really important characteristics - day to day. The panorama roof, by the way, is blocking heat in the summer and let pass sun in winter. Lambos and Ferraris cannot be compared with each other. It’s a Ferrari with back seats, good luggage space or no back seats and tonnes of space. If I owned that car I wouldn’t need another car and that’s what practical means.
