    I'm running 5W30 on my VQ35HR engine because am scared of engine oil pressure issue or so due to using thicker engine oil such as 5W40 although i want to use thicker one.. Do you think I can use 5W40 safely on my VQ35HR engine without engine oil pressure problem?..

      I think you can run 5w40 without any problems. This thicker Viscosity oil will increase pressure but flow through the engine slower. Do you see the oil pressure dropping below normal ranges when hot?

    180 is cooking, should be stable around 100.

      Actually oil needs to get up to 212 to start to boil off any condensation. 100 is too cold for daily driving.

      @@chippyjohn1 you must be thinking of Celsius. In America we use Fahrenheit so that's what I'm referencing what I'm talking about temperatures
