Might need a range door spring hinge replacement. This appliance repair was done on a Whirlpool electric range M# WFE515S0ES0 Oven Door Hinge Part# WPW10299224
2nd time in 4 years, bought a display model, with it damage. It’s common doing my 2nd one better be last. Otherwise it’s a great oven. And it’s not from opening too far down on our end
Is there an adjustment? Seems mine meets the seal real nice like at the bottom but there’s roughly 1/8”-1/4” gap at the top of the seal. Makes for quite a bit of heat leak.
If there's still a gap it needs to be removed and reset. I don't know why but it can be inserted wrong to where it leaves a gap. Theres two notches and it has to be set right. When the 'Right' pin in the spring breaks its pretty much toast though and will never fully close until replaced.

Great video brother, I literally just had this call 2 days ago. I swapped the door with a vacant but good to know it's not a total loss. Can this part be ordered from whirlpool or HD, that your aware of?
This just happen on stove, my grandson told me the stove door was hard to close, so he forced it to close and broke the door clamp on it, I were looking for a way to fix it or buy a new stove… thank you for sharing this video . I will try to fix it first before deciding to buy a new stove, the stove is 8!years old, my deceased son brought me the stove from home depot, it’s Sunday I be out looking for the part at HD. Thank you again.
Dear Friend: We have a Whirpool WFE770HDFZ1. I have been trying to clean the oven door (inside), but spite following instructions to the letter, the door won't come off at the angle specified (45 degrees) pulling any which way! My husband pulled in a little and up and the whole stove moved forward but the door did not release! Any idea what we are doing wrong, or what the problem may be? Thanks for your learned response!:)
Wtf... you skipped/edited out the only reason I needed this video @ 2:14!! How in the hell do you install the new hinge with that little lip that is on the aluminum frame on the inside??! The old one just fell out, so I have no way of knowing how to seat all those different layers around the hinge so that it's flush!

I tried doing this and brought the part back 2 times but the parts you pulled down to tale the door off the over won't move. Any clue why?
