I’m an 7 handicap and absolutely love these. It is a bit of a rough start getting used to the small loft. But as soon as you realize your old 6 is your new 7 your fine.

I play the 919 Pros bent mostly weaker - specs (PW,9,8,7,6,5) -> (47,42,38,32,28,24) - I worked with the TXG guys in Toronto arriving at these specs - it spreads PW-5 into traditional blade lofts of PW@47 - 4iron@24 but using 1 less club. With a proper shaft spec'd for you (I'm using the 120gram DG S300), the clubs are consistent with great spin; and for me, produce 13-yard gaps (133,146,159,172,185,197). If buying today, I would buy the new 921 improved Forged and do exactly the same.

That would be the Project X Blackout steel shaft in the Pro wouldn’t it? That’s the standard shaft.

    • @golfshake

Yes. We've reclarified in the information/video that the Hot Metal Pro features the black Projext X blackout shaft.

You are the second pro now to say that the Pro is graphite. Do you guys not know that the Project X LZ is just blacked out steel?? You weren't hitting the Recoil graphite were you. Not a fair test if so. Of course the graphite would go longer.

great video, got fitted yesterday before lockdown have to choose between either pro head or order hot metal, with just use recoil esx460 graphite shafts as they suited me best , shoulder injuries etc have slowed my swing down, any recommendations ? much appreciated , stay safe and greetings from Ireland

Agree w/ the bottom two comments . . . that shaft is the Project X Blackout LZ . . . which certainly looks like a graphite shaft but it's steel . . . that is the shaft that you have in there right?

And I don’t get them for 100% free. But there’s this program at one of the local golf shots where you can purchase clubs and swap them out for other clubs multiple times. It’s a really nice deal because you get to test what’s out there.

Great video dude. I got fit for the HM pros a week and a half ago. I did not get to hit the forged though. Coming off playing ping i20s for years, I’m a little worried how ‘bulky’ the HM pros might look and feel with turf impact. Kind of pissed I didn’t get to hit the forged, how much sleeker are the forged? Thanks for any insight, having buyers remorse, even though they won’t come for another month..playing at about a 10..
