The stretch is very important when it comes to hook sets I hope you continue this trend. Also since I fish saltwater the abrasion resistance is extremely important even if it's minuscule
lbs breaking strength should be divided by the line's cross section (in inches squared) for a valid comparison in PSI Tensile Strength of the nylon recipes used.
I often wondered what the difference is between the stern original and magnathin are. I know the magnathin costs 2-3x more but I wonder if its just the original line with more of an IGFA compliant label on it.
Can you test impact strength rather then stretch strength. If Berkeley has more stretch I would think it would take high impact shock better. I don't think I've ever had a fish stretch line to fail it's always when they turn fast and shake.
Thank you. The stretch test is what people always skimp on mono line testing. More stretch means less chance ripping off fish mouth for UL fishing.

Too bad Stren Hi Impact is disappearing. Right now there are very limited colors and line weights.

I believe a test between Stren High Impact vs Trilene XT...would be the more relevant test
