Tnx man! this vid makes a lot of help to me right now i have a ts 125 here and the problem is i can't shift it after i dissamble this engine 😆 But i know im pretty sure this will work coz ive been watching ypur video tommorow i will continue to repair it 😄 -From PH 🇵🇭
Kevin, this serie of "Working on David's ts125" is one of the most precious source of information to me. Wonderfull : keep on making videos like this !!! I am rebuilding a 1979 Suzuki TS 125 ER (may be two of them in fact !) and found your videos are so great and detailed. I am in the process of rebuilding the engine(s) and I am wondering what Case Sealant is the best. You are using Threebond 1184 but it looks ugly ... It looks like Suzuki factory sealant was more like a "dip in" rubber. Suzuki does'nt sell the "liquid Gasket" 9000 33020" anymore but some later version of the TS 125 ER were using Suzuki Bond 1215 (which is probably Threebond 1215). I was also considering Loctite 510 as it specs are matching the need. I also got a huge number of other references ... can you help us on this subject ? I was alos considering the option of digging a (small 1/32") grove in the middle of the case contact surfaces to create a kind of "molded in place" gasket. Any comment ?
What did you use to get the case half faces so clean and ready for three bond? Always tough to ensure all old material is removed without damaging thin aluminum. Razors are dangerous and solvents don't always work. Keep up the nice work.
@@2strokeguruI was just wondering how you knew it was a crank seal I’m fixing mine right now and spark plug was fouling a whole bunch thinking pulling crank case oil
Kevin - I'm curious your opinion on using pre-mix with the Suzuki TS125 engine. I've read on some forums that using the oil pump is absolutely necessary for the bearings to be lubricated. Is that correct?
On rotary valve 2stroke the oil pump is a must use on 2stroke engine where the carb mounting is on the cylinder you can run premix if you desire you will have to do a couple little mods on all my personal bikes all my oilers are hooked up and working as they should out of all the bikes I have 1 pump went and it over oiled

You do a great job.thanks
Thank you I appreciate that
Been following along as I do my own rebuild. Do you have a part 5? I can't seem to find the next video.

I like the part where the screws back to there original location 😁👌 coz sometimes I do that also.. 😂🤙
Hey Kevin, what video will be the following after this one? I can’t find “part 5” 😊
Working on David's ts125 it didn't have a part I forgot to put part in the video
This is great, my tf 125 will move. So. nice thans😅
Bang kalau ganti seal kruk as bagian kanan, apa harus belah mesin ya?
Is there a part 3 replacing the seal ?
Hey Kevin, how did you diagnose the bad crank seal? Thanks
No but thank you for the idea I will do that great video idea

@@2strokeguru Thanks Kevin. This series of videos on the TS125 is a masterclass and I have learned so much.
@@grahamsampson769 that's awesome thank you I appreciate that I enjoy teaching
Hi Kevin, do both crankcase surfaces need to be siliconed? Or just one side?
1 side
@@2strokeguru Thanks👍
Hi, do you have a video on wiring Suzuki tf 125?
No not yet
Nice!!!
Thank you
Is 2stroke Tuesday tonite
Yes there will be
What are the torque specs for the nut on the clutch basket and for the crank pulley?
I will be doing another ts125 crank seals in a couple of weeks
Didn't watch only the beginning but Suzuki uses a center case gasket 🤔🤔 you did not
Not all ts125 some use silicone the gasket version has a few different thickness for end play
@@2strokeguru ok
@thetwostrokerebuilder I have another Suzuki lt125 that uses the gasket I will be doing soon I will show the difference thank you for the content idea
