- This is just a small edit I put together explaining the proper way to install our HC320 compensator. You can run a carry length slide on a full-size frame and a sub-compact slide on a carry length frame. Don't hesitate to send us an email if you have any further questions!

Great thing you went over all those barrel length issues you mentioned at the start of the video
Excited to get mine when you ship this week!
I am glad to hear it!
Just got lucky and got one for my Pdp very excited!
Nice!
Great video waiting for mine on the 18th ! I love it alot of ignorance with these setup's lol 🤪 I do feel bad for y'all but you have great customer service!!!!
Sig Sauer needs to do a better job describing their products and it would be easy!
@@herringtonarms Absolutely! ! !
@@amarante2993 it sounds like it .. your barrel threading is 1/2 by 28 and the Comp is 13/1lh ?
@@amarante2993 Sigs old original barrel threading was the 13-1 if you're barrel is 1/2-28 you have to have 1/2-28
Looking forward to receiving min hopefully this week or next
Great video! Which compensator should I get for my P320 Xcarry Legion?
14-inch lbs if anyone is wondering, he says it later in the video. Would love for this info to be in the FAQ on the pages for this product when y'all have some time, awesome products!
We can definitely do that!
Wish you incldued a part listing for the barrels, I'm going through some issues finding a matching threaded barrel that is compatible.
My man is obsessed with loctite
I have a p320 Xcarry 3.9in barrel look to build it on a full-size what barrell would I need and which comp. I’m afraid to get the wrong threaded barrel. Thanks.
What barrel length
Red loctite just needs to be heated to be broken. It’s not permanent. But certainly requires more effort to remove. Blue Loctite obviously can be undone with just the right amount of torque.
It is not but a lot of people don't have the tools to break them loose without damaging the comp or gun. In our experience
I have a xcarry and put this on today. It’s noticeably harder to rack the slide. Then if I take the slide off and try to get it the whole way back to the slide lock it’s nearly impossible to do so. Comp was tighten to the end of the slide then backed off. There’s about a 1/10th inch gap. Slide isn’t making contact. I saw someone else here a year ago was having the same issue.
I have only sae this to be an issue when the guide rod is installed incorrectly. Make sure the flats on the guide rod are on the left and right not top or bottom.
@@herringtonarms yeah my guide rod is installed correctly
@@jackripper6033 Hmm, please send me an email with some pictures of your setup. Ill see if we can figure this out! support@herringtonarms.com
Thought he was going to go over the slide and barrel lengths and grip modules 🤷🏻♂️ if I have a carry frame I know I’d need a sub compact slide but what barrel length
Better video coming soon showing different barrel lengths, slides, and frames!
I have a factory SIG compact 3.9" slide, SIG 4.6" threaded barrel, & full size Wilson Combat grip module. Will this comp work with that setup and sit flush?
Yes it should
I’m no expert but I think you let it sit long enough for the blue Loctite to actually bind slightly.
Does this work for sig 320 xcarry legion?
Would adding this to an m18 make it the same overall length as a m17, or would I need to go down to a subcompact slide?
You would need to go to a sub compact
@@herringtonarms thanks for the response
Even when mine is backed off till correctly oriented, the slide still has issues racking back it seems like it needs to be backed off more. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Make sure there is a gap between the comp and slide. If there is no gap you will definitely get binding. If there is a gap it sounds like you need to look at your guide rod assembly.
@@herringtonarms turns out the Wilson combat frame I was using was having some issues with clearance. And the comp was setting stuck on the frame.
Now I just need to get a lighter recoil spring. DMP probably the best option to lighten up the recoil to use lighter loads?
@@Mcslap13 Polish the frame where it was binding and it should work great on oem springs
@@herringtonarms The WC grip module narrows a little at the top at the front, that makes the comp catch. If you take it down a bit on both sides until it is perpendicular, the comp will work fine backed off half a turn as Herrington suggests.
Can anyone verify if this comp on a Carry slide will still fit into a safariland?
What holster would you run with this setup?
Tier 1 concealed
will this work with the xcarry legion barrel?
Yes!
And it will be flush with the slide? I know not the grip, but I've read elsewhere some of the comps leave a decent size gap with the sig barrel
@@asylvia7 Yes it will sit flush!
Just bought a BOT barrel will that be ok
Back up tactical?
Will this work for the M17?
Yes!
What size threaded barrel would I need for a M18?
4.6" threaded
Awesome thank you! I just ordered my HC320 comp yesterday for this gun, hopefully it all works out
Wanted to ask and sorry to be a bother, will this one work? Faxon Firearms Sig Sauer P320 Compact Barrel, Flame Fluted, Threaded, 9mm, 1-10 Twist, 1/2x28, 416-R SS, Nitride, TiN, Gold,
@@oscargomez3554 Yes it will!
@@oscargomez3554 Thank you for your order!
What’s the correct barrel length?
For a compact or carry slide you need a 4.6" and for the sub compact or x compact you need a 4.3"
@@herringtonarms I have an xcompact and with the 4.3 the compensator does not fit.
@@pfundora99 Shoot me an email at cory@herringtonarms.com with some pictures of your setup and I can help diagnose what's going on.
You'd think they'd put blue locktite in a blue container
Does the side screw leave markings on the barrel?
Yes it typically does. It does not affect anything with function with or without comp installed.
will that comp fit onto the p320xcarry legion factory barrel?
Yes it will!
