I work in Govt College as a Janbhagidaari worker and we are paid as per daily wages collector rates applied in MP, and everyday we work overtime for about 1 or 2 hours but the college doesn't recognize it. They take work from us but they don't pay for extra time. I once asked a Babu of our college, he told there is nothing such as extra time pay here.

सर कृपया जानकारी देने का कष्ट करे । मै स्टेट पॉवर कम्पनी मे कार्यरत हु, जहाँ तकनीकी और गैर तकनीकी कर्मचारी काम करते है। किन्तु यहाँ दोनो वर्ग हेतु वर्किंग timing अलग अलग है। एक ओर जहाँ गैर तकनीकी कर्मचारियों को प्रतिदिन 7 घंटे का वर्किंग time और सप्ताह मे 2 दिन का अवकाश होता है इसके अतिरिक्त राज्य शासन व केंद्र शासन द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष घोषित लगभग 60 दिनों की अवकाश की पात्रता होती है, जबकि दुसरी और तकनीकी कर्मचारी को प्रतिदिन 8 घंटे की वर्किंग होती है एवम् सप्ताह मे 1 साप्ताहिक अवकाश के अतिरिक्त वर्ष मे केवल 8 rastriya अवकाश की पात्रता है। क्या एक संस्था मे ऐसा दोहरा मापदंड कानूनो के तहत सही है? कृपया अवगत कराने का कष्ट करे

सर कृपया जानकारी देने का कष्ट करे । मै स्टेट पॉवर कम्पनी मे कार्यरत हु, जहाँ तकनीकी और गैर तकनीकी कर्मचारी काम करते है। किन्तु यहाँ दोनो वर्ग हेतु वर्किंग timing अलग अलग है। एक ओर जहाँ गैर तकनीकी कर्मचारियों को प्रतिदिन 7 घंटे का वर्किंग time और सप्ताह मे 2 दिन का अवकाश होता है इसके अतिरिक्त राज्य शासन व केंद्र शासन द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष घोषित लगभग 60 दिनों की अवकाश की पात्रता होती है, जबकि दुसरी और तकनीकी कर्मचारी को प्रतिदिन 8 घंटे की वर्किंग होती है एवम् सप्ताह मे 1 साप्ताहिक अवकाश के अतिरिक्त वर्ष मे केवल 8 rastriya अवकाश की पात्रता है। क्या एक संस्था मे ऐसा दोहरा मापदंड कानूनो के तहत सही है? कृपया अवगत कराने का कष्ट करे

i think if we pay it on earned salary then the rate of overtime wages would be very less if any employees takes leave in that particular month.

I have a question that if an employee is restricted to work overtime for max 1hr/day(10 working hrs.) than in a quarter how could he work for 100hrs. extra i.e in a quarter there is all total around 90 days.
