In corporate world, we often see cases where a manager just fires his/her employee without giving any legit reason or notice, basically does not follow any standard protocol. This is a common practice in many organisations and it has become prevalent because in most cases employees are just unaware of their rights.
There are certain constitutional rights of every employee which can ensure him justice.
Let's discuss today, what can an employee do in case of unprofessional firing. What rights does he/she have? And how to save yourself from corporate politics and manipulation.

I worked in a company for more than 2.6 years. During Covid19 they imposed 50% deduction on my salary and when i resigned then HR said *50% salary p kaam karo vrna hm tumhe experience letter ni denge aur abscond kr denge* and they did the same thing. I file multiple complaint in Labor comssioner office, CMO and even PMO with all proofs but nothing happen. Then i realised that i live in a country where every law and common man welfare exist only in papers and politicians speeches.

18 years of work-ex, worked in the worst companies, have to say this:
    1. Don't worry, the pool of jobs is huge.
    2. If you are asked to resign, do it! (The company is not your home)
    3. Make savings for the next 3 years.
    4. Keep your LinkedIn network big.
    5. Don't get scared of any company.
    6. Apply for jobs every year, just don't accept if you don't wanna move.
    7. Always keep your family in loop.
    8. Prepare side-projects while working that can help present your work.
    9. Learn about freelance opportunities in your field.
    10. Remember always...a company is losing you! You are losing nothing 😇

A lot of companies did that at the start of the pandemic. It was to come out of legal wrangles. I was forced to resign after spending 13 years in a company which considers to be an epitome of ethics. I was forced to resign within an hour and the reason given was company had economic trouble. Funny things is that they had the highest revenue ever in the pandemic year. I considered legal route but gave it up as I wanted to concentrate on furthering my career and get a better opportunity. Motto: take control of your career and if things don’t go well take the hint and start a new journey. Better things are always out there. Sometimes we need to jump down to reach higher…

After mailing, file an RTI seeking the details of action taken by govt on your complaint mail - the govt is bound to give a legal reply within 30 days to your RTI and am sure that your work will be done judiciously by this way. The organisation asks to work on 1/3/5 th Saturday, but does not include the work hours on the timesheet. If you take a leave on one of this Saturday, you have to mark leave on the coming Monday and then still work. During the lock down, you are supposed to work sometimes 12+ hours (You can't excuse because your travelling time is available, so you should work), but still the time sheet entry will be 9 hours. As an employee, the friend fears to speak up to HR, it seems like they all are involved with this. Even taking up the whistle blower policy feels like a risk. And there is this, if you speak up, you are the culprit, it is your fault, you get the guilt because everyone was being slave to the boss but you spoke up. This is the look you get not just from your seniors but from your co workers, like you said, bolne k lie family hai!
Is there a way to tackle this with anonymity? I would really appreciate any solution for the said situation. Because I feel bad for my friend! Thanks a lot!

    Good. Informative. Real & Practical.
These things apply to all levels of employees not just freshers. Even CEOs in very reputed corporates can fall prey to these kinds of treatments, actions & surprises. Corporate world is ruthless - may be rightly so- where each to his own. Not to be upset with termination or layoffs. Must make an objective self assessment, post event, and move on with the lessons and positives.
Do not carry any guilt, unless it was due to sheer irresponsibility or abject failure on your part, according to you, even then it's a lesson learnt.
Even within the same domain no two organizations can be alike. Therefore start with a open mind and with full vigour in the next job. It may well be your best choice/ chance or the worst, only time will decide. Never mind.
    The real assets for performing better are;
-Skill sets & cross functional capabilities.
-Ability to gell with the team.
    -Ability to network professionally.
-Good manners, respect, dignity, be approachable, tolerance.
    Jai Hind!

A company that goes against the rules or is unethical can go to any limits, for example wrongly accusing someone of sexual harrassment. Even if everything goes by the book a legal case in India takes several years and lot of resources.

Thank you so much for this video sir. I was working with one company for 1year 3month i performed really well got best performer consistently 7to8 months plus on basis on performance i got increment in just 6months so basically I got increment twice in once year. Now i wanted to left the company because I got selected for government job at my dad's place which i informed to the company & requested to reduce my notice period for 15days. As I was having very good relations with all the colleague & the founder. They did not accept my 15 days notice forcing me to serve 1 month notice or give one month salary back to the company. Harass me mentally to give salary back or serve one month notice otherwise will take legal action against you. After that ready to serve notice period of one month notice I put down my paper mentioning that give me paid leaves also I did not take any unnecessary leaves in 1.3 years just took hardly 6to8 leaves. So, they accepted my resignation on mail but after that founder & other employees started misbehaving with abusing me mentally harassed me. One 1st day of notice period they told me that we did not want you to serve notice, we are not taking your salary back, we are not taking any legal action against you. Just mailed us that you are sorry for your behaviour & apologize to all caused any trouble to office peace. Your this video helps me alot thanks 🙏🏻 thank you so much sir
