    So sorry you're going through this. I can relate I've been on a liquid/ pureed diet for 3 1/2 years from these problems I had bad esophageal stricture and my doc thinks I may have a motility problem. I have lost so much weight. It is really hard but I try to stay positive. Hope you feel better I'll be praying for you ❤ congrats on your pregnancy!! So happy for you!

      Liquid diet form almost 4 years?!!!?!! Have you asked about surgery? That’s no way to live. I also have gerd and it’s really bad in the mornings. For whatever reason, my gerd got really bad so I can barely eat, going on 4 days now ☹️ it sucks.

      @@CFHDime I'm so sorry to hear that. Are you getting treatment for your problem?
      Yes, it hasn't been an easy journey. I'm currently going to the clevland clinic, I recently learned I have 80% ineffective esophageal motility. I'm currently waiting for my next appointment in 2 weeks to see what the next step is. I hope there is something they can do.

    I feel really down when my symptoms are bad, I want to cry and my anxiety got high. I really feel you because I was there suffering with acid reflux. I also feel bad when I lose weight because I don’t like to be so thin. My family knows but they don’t know exactly how painful is this.

    Quick question... My doctors think I have GERD but, do you experience shortness of breathe or chest pains?

    • @brendabiurq7394
      @brendabiurq7394 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I experience that a lot if I eat bad. I turned to vegan. But I’m pregnant too so I eat regular food and it’s making me extremely out of breath like a gasp type of feeling. That’s “normal” when you have GERD just try to remain calm get up and walk a bit and no more junk food. I did vegan and I felt a whole lot better but I lost a ton of weight and I ate steamed chicken if I ever craved meats. It sucks but diet is key to this gane

    Have you tested for h pylori??? I have never been acidic and never had heartburn in my life then suddenly i got sour pslate last July then had dinner at a buffet at end of July then got diarrhea and all of a sudden i experienced heartburn. I tested positive for h pylori and had antibiotics plus natural supplements. Thank GOD it worked but it took 2 months to feel "normal" again. Maybe you can try Wakamoto or other probiotics. Apple Cider Vinegar helped too..i take it before meals

Also honey with warm water kills bacteria drinken in the morning on an empy stomach and aloe vera drinks should be your best friends ! if you are somehow older try betaine hcl because the older you get the lower acid you have and that can cause gerd aswel !

      Hey sky girl! Have you seen a doctor for this? I would try to eat bland food and keep a food diary to see what works. It will not work right away and you have to be patient but don’t give up. There has to be a food that works for you. Also taking the right medication when needed will help too. I hope you find a good doctor that can help you fight this disease or at least improve its symptoms
