paul you are extremely generous to be putting out so much content and knowledge out on youtube for free.

Thanks Paul! These videos are a huge help and inspiration!
My pleasure!
These are great tips, thanks so much! I'm just learning to balance away from a wall now, but doing wall handstands for years...
Always appreciate the tips.

You're welcome!
Thanks dude these videos are helping me serverly!
I was wondering if you have any tips to get more consistent holds?
Increasing balance window is the key. Use this technique th-cam.com/video/wBpK02ltgrA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c2FxVOhQDqH-2RFT
This is so good man! Thank you for doing this!!
Glad you liked it!
@@PaulTwyman I did a frogstand today two times for 1min each with your technique of fixing my eyes on a specific thing as well as going a little wider than I normally would. It helped my stability! Love it when I find genuine good advice like this!
@@Mikas_Emil awesome!
Danke!
Than you! Much appreciated
Thank you so much! Your channel is awesome. Do you have a routine to enhance shoulder stability?

Just tried that one in the gym and holllllyyyy moly it is sooo helpful! Haven't really been progressing for months and got really frustrated but your video helped me to get my motivation back, thank you!
Great! Glad it helped
Thanks for the tips Paul! Question: I seem to set up ok for the kick up, my head is where it should be and doesn't move... however, I look at my foot that's launching, as I bounce on it once for the kick, and then my focus automatically shifts to in between my hands.. is that ok? Or should I be correcting that? I've been kicking up successfully to a back to wall handstand so far and now recording myself to see my position... realized I need to work more on my hollow body position..
I've been working on kicking up to a hand stand against the wall and I think you just gave me a clue. At the end (~5:20) you mention having too much weight on your feet which makes kicking up harder. Should I push further forward, moving my shoulders past my hands a little and moving my hips higher? It seems like that would move my center of gravity closer to being between my hands meaning less force needed to get my feet up into a handstand. When you're kicking up it looks effortless.
Yes that could help but don’t go too far forwards as the base won’t be stable. Try this video for a more detailed look at the kick up th-cam.com/video/cQUO6_eAnDw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hji7KL1iNWT4e_lk
hey paul i really struggle with overhead mobility. i have tried various stretches but have seen little improvement
Mine took a while. Daily hanging and thoracic mobility with a foam roller done the trick, consistency is key
When I kick up to handstand my back arches what is solution for arche back in handstand
Handstand chest to wall and hollow body hold.
Is it normal to have wrist pain while doing the ‘spider grip’ on the floor?
It’s common, I don’t teach or use a strong spider grip. Work mobility ( full body ) and the wall balance drills. This will decrease the demand, compensation. Relax the fingers, less spider grip and see how you go
3:45 my head hurts when I do headstands ( I can't get into it directly so I do crow 1st )
Yeah that’s cool
@@PaulTwyman do you know how I could build up the pain tolerance to be on my head?
what progression is the dog on?
Eating and sleeping
Good word. a bit wide.
Thanks
