I was approached by an old woman wanting a therapy dog (I breed purebred Alaskan Malamutes specifically for Service/Therapy, originally for our Military). She talks me down to half the price, then proceeded to get double the amount via GoFundMe...then gets the dog home and is unhappy--not sure how a "dog trainer" cannot handle a youngster, but fine. She asked for AKC papers (which were NOT part of the deal at half price), wanted her money back, wanted another pup and so forth...basically trashed me all over social media, etc.
Come to find she does this every January. Gets a new therapy dog at half price or free, scams people into money for said dog and pockets the extra $1k...then flips the dog with papers, and gets another dog. It's every January, so I felt it was IRS related. You can claim the Therapy dog costs on your taxes.
So.
I sent that disgusting harpy to jail for Tax Fraud.

$25,000 for a wedding!? We were fortunate to be able to spend $3k on ours. My brides father actually offered me the cash up front if my bride and I eloped. He didn't want to have to wear a tuxedo.
I wanted to do that, but my fiance was not having it. She wanted to ceremony, the reception, and, of course, the honeymoon. I really can't blame her. A wedding day is meant to be about the bride, really. Being a farmer's daughter, she didn't grow up with a lot of frills and finery. She wanted one day to be able to enjoy such. Fortunately, we had some friends who had a nice "cabin" at a nearby lake. They stocked the 'fridge, and told us we could have the place for a week as a wedding present.
We realized that while we focused on the wedding a lot, ultimately the focus would be on the marriage. So, we had our fun, moved into our rental home, and then went to work on being husband and wife. We still are.
I understand. I sympathize with you as I have trouble in crowds. I'm partially deaf, and get very uncomfortable in large groups. I try to avoid them whenever I can. Nevertheless, there are times when I must be in them. In this instance I really wanted to please her so, I coped as best as I could. Over the years, she's learned how hard it is for me to do so at times. She has learned to see when I'm getting uncomfortable and steers me into the clear to de-stress for a few minutes. When I'm better, we go back for a while longer. I go for her sake, and she leaves for mine.
I love her.
Oh the good old days when young couples (like my parents back then) spent near 0 to get married, magistrate wedding, but well, surely they went out to eat after that, that's a normal thing to do around here though even these days because weddings can be expensive and need lots of work, some people like to keep it simple and private and some people also have their contacts to their family members cut and bridges burned.
Though... i guess some people can enjoy the fact of having a party to celebrate it, but they do it only to brag about it most likely, and it's usually just the bride being a self centered B and the groom is just the one who probably pays it all.
Marriage is also pretty useless nowadays though, it's just more like a thing that says that by law you two are together, which CAN also be done by making it a "Registered Relationship" via some paperwork, basically that and marriage are the only ways to make your SO have some kind of rights to your belongings in case of your death happens, and vice versa.
That's a rather cynical view of marriage. I'm sorry you feel that way, but to each his/her own. Marriage can be a wonderful thing, if you find the right person and are willing to work at it, both of you. If not, it will be hell on earth.

In first grade, I made this art project that I was really proud of, and suddenly it disappeared, so I asked the art teacher where it went and I tell her what it looks like, she then proceeds to take out MY art project with ANOTHER KID’S name on it. Apparently, she had asked if it was his and he had told them it was his, and then proceeded to scratch off my initials and then put his initials into the clay.
He knew the art project was mine since he came and told me it was good.

I call that bad parenting. At the age of six even I knew that if there's something I couldn't get, life went on. There wasn't some world ending apocalypse. My family isn't poor but not rich either, but they taught me not to act like this kid did. If I saw a toy train I'd be like "could we get this please?" and my parents would say something like "sorry but not right now, but if you're patient we can get it for you for your birthday or Christmas".

Christina F I read the thread and basically the tldr of is...that she (crazy lady$ was arrested and spent a night in jail, the OP said she looking in to the legality side of that letter with her assistant and is looking to charge her for $15k (relating to the property matters) and attempting to serve that batshit woman with papers with no seeming luck for that payment.
A lot of the comments below that are people warning the OP about squatters rights’/her safety/the property in general. The woman is a sovereign citizen/belongs to the Moorish who believe in just total BS.

And don't know about other countries, but in mine you can get in reaaaaal legal trouble just for forging "legal" documents like that with others signature without their consent. Experts are even called in in these cases who can tell if it is your signature or a forged one. I actually didn't think about suing the forger for these property damage, only the forging. :D

I do not know about the US. In my country, weddings are traditionally a very celebrated event. In olden days, the couple were given less attention due to the fact they were actually arranged into marriage basically forced lmao. It was a parents thing..
Nowadays, we do have elaborate weddings but since the couple are in love they enjoy it. We still have not grown out of the habit of putting a big scene on weddings. It's not a really bad thing. It's one major event in your life

("sovereignty" is possessing power over oneself, and "citizen" is someone who lives in a country, and is required to abide by their laws.)
@@CN-dl6fb Basically, you can own private land without purchasing it if you reside on that property for 10 years and maintain it, regardless of your country of citizenship, provided it isn't agricultural farm land (which is the only type of land where you must be a citizen of Morocco). So similar to the laws in several states which some squatters try to take advantage of, but again, you have to live on that property for a specified length of time before you can claim it as your own.

The story involving the house sounds a lot like a Squatter and if you dig up videos of these guys, they think if they sweep in and take a property and hold onto it long enough that it will end up as their property. They do this with people that are on vacation, renting out a room, in any sort of military service, elderly, foreclosures, and houses for sale. They try to sit there and occupy the house even if all utilities aren't working -- it's actually a really interesting scam.
But when this homeowner mentioned Moorish citizen, this sounds like someone who believes in the Sovereign Citizen bullshit, which is basically a little subset of people that believe government laws don't apply to them. That's the TL;DR version of it because there are even tiny branches of that subsets like folks believe that the Articles of Confederation are the true foundation of the US government. And, of course, it's not mutually exclusive to the US, there are videos of folks from Canada pulling this crap.
I love your videos, rSlash, but I kind of wish you left the link to the original post. With the cost of housing and empty houses out there, the whole Squatter's Rights thing is an important scam to be aware of. You cannot arrest these folks -- they're considered tenants in a sense in a lot of states so a lot of the homeowners actually have to go through *court eviction orders* to get these people to leave. A lot of people have fallen victim to it, lot of them elderly or innocent people that attempt to rent a house that's actually not even up for rent.
Anyway, stay alert, guys.

@@BonnieHalfElven It's not so much that the law favors squatters (I'm assuming you are speaking about the US, if not I'm sorry), just look at the absolute deluge of case law on property rights and such.
However, there is a process of law called adverse possession that, if I am remembering right, comes to us from old Roman law which allows someone to claim another persons' property so long as it is done openly, for a long time which is normally measured in years (determined by the State) as well as a whole list of other requirements that are generally difficult to overcome.
Now, as far as the story referenced in this video is concerned, this sovereign citizen would never be able to defend such a claim (if they would even believe that the law applies to them at all), they would not have even begun the process at this point as OP had them removed by law enforcement.
There are a few limited cases where I can see this as a useful function of law, even here in the US where property is (usually) sacrosanct, however those few cases do not apply to this story, not in the slightest. I won't defend the ethical utility of this doctrine, there are many moral hazards of its use, but it does have some and therefore make it, sometimes, but rarely useful.

But yeah, the words on that document she served are worth less than the piece of paper they're printed on. I'd genuinely love to read the brief and the judgment in this case as I imagine he had to take her to court. I don't know where this took place but I think moorish nationals are largely US based? I'm in England where we have freemen of (or on) the land who largely subscribe to the same "independent of government and rule of law" sov cit schtick. It's bananas.

Squatting laws are absolutely crazy. I watched a video about this lady whom bought a home. She noticed that one of the rooms was locked only to find out someone was living there. The police wouldn't help her as the squatter was using it as her residence. She had to go through the courts and do the whole eviction process which cost her money and time. I just realized that the birthday Karen told her brat to start screaming and keep screaming no matter what until SHE had grabbed whatever it was that SHE saw that SHE wanted from their table. She clearly saw something of value *to her* and tried to use her kid as the scapegoat to steal it from them. Unbelievable. She probably dug her nails into the kid until he could conjure up some actual tears to make sure it worked to her satisfaction.
My old roommate, who owned the house I was renting a room in, had a rule in which none of us were allowed to cook meat in the kitchen. She said she hated the smell of cooking flesh. She was not even vegan or vegetarian. This compounded with many other random rules she came up with made me want to leave but I was stuck in a year long rental agreement. I was able to escape after two months because she left the country to go and "window shop" for a foreign orphan. When she left she dismantled the stove top and took all the heating elements with her to ensure that no one would be cooking while she was away. There is a tiny little landlord/tenant law in my state that says the landlord is required to maintain a proper place for food to be prepared to include, refrigeration and a way to heat up/cook raw food. I left her a note citing the law that had been violated and how it gave me the power to end the rental agreement and got the hell out of there!

As a service dog handler and trainer, a couple things to CB Old Woman:
1) you described a service dog, not a therapy dog. Therapy dogs are essentially certified ESAs (by what they do, not saying they are the same just that the job is similar), don't have public access rights, and are not trained to act as medical equipment
2) fully-trained service dogs cost a few thousand dollars at least (usually more, especially for purebred dogs) due to the HUNDREDS of hours of training and work put into the dogs and the rarity of a dog that makes it all the way through training without washing from the program.
3) anyone with a trained service dog either needs that dog themselves or is being paid to train it for someone else. No one is just going to give their medical equipment to you.
4) rescues are perfectly capable of becoming service dogs if they have the temperament and aptitude for it. A purebred dog has just as much of a chance to wash as the mixed-breed dog since even a dog that came from a service line isn't a guaranteed service dog itself. Both my current SD and my SDIT (service dog in training) are rescues, you could have worked with a trainer to help you find a rescue if your budget doesn't allow for a $1500+ purebred puppy.
5) Even if, by some fluke, someone gave away their fully trained service dog worth thousands of dollars, you would still have to work with a trainer to learn how to handle that dog. They are highly trained and require bonding to work for a handler as well as actual knowledge work them properly. Due to their myriad of commands, alerts, knowing proper behavior, how to correct behavior, etc. you would have to take classes with a service dog trainer to essentially get a crash course in training yourself to ensure the dog is taken care of properly. They aren't toys, require a diet suited to their work (read as not cheap BS with no real nutrition) and have to be exercised daily as well since they are high energy to be able to work every day. My dogs go through about two $50 bags of roughly dog food a month (they are larger to handle mobility tasks) and need a high-quality diet to be able to work properly. It's no different than eating healthier when working out.
TL:DR if you are having to beg for a "therapy dog", have no understanding of ADA, don't know the care involved with a SD, and are expecting a furry handout you can't take care of that type of working dog. To get a "perfectly behaved dog" requires an immense amount of work and that behavior has to be upkept or the dog will fall into bad habits. If I saw a post like this and I had a ready SD looking for their forever partner I wouldn't give it to you. I wouldn't give any animal to you, trained or not, since you obviously wouldn't be able to financially support them and don't have any knowledge to take care of them. Buy a weighted blanket and one of those easy reachers, that will solve your problem without endangering the life of an animal.

The Therapy Dog Post: Here's the best part. This CB wants a SERVICE dog (assists people with physical and/or mental disabilities/limitations - i.e. guide dogs are a type of service dog). Instead, she _asked_ for a therapy dog. As a dog trainer, I would have loved to bring her a trained & certified chocolate lab therapy dog to the retirement home that the therapy dog would be working at then watch her get confused as all the elderly people pet him followed by me _and_ the dog leaving. The therapy dog would be doing what therapy dogs do, just like entitled, ignorant old ladies (CB) do what entitled, ignorant old ladies do.

Dry kitchen usually has a small refrigerator, a microwave, single or double stove, and coffee maker while in wet kitchen you'll get a full kitchen appliances. What I know is most place with share kitchen, only has a dry kitchen. They use that for making instant noodles or fried rice, or some easy dish like pasta or cooking some fries and sausages. But if u want to make a real deal dish like a stew or some food that need a more then hour to complete, well, you'll disturb another tenants.
