I dig that ... I might set up a GF Application too if I don't give a FK if women take me seriously. Sadly where I am I might find candidates so I don't. Yeah...frankly, I don't think it's cute, I think it's irresponsible. Like, he needs to either train that dog, or lock her out of the room when he records. It's not normal for a dog to bark incessantly like that for no reason. I'm worried that if he doesn't do something, he's going to wind up with an unruly and uncontrollable dog. There's only so much time during puppyhood to correct problem behaviors before they become ingrained, and then it's nearly impossible to fix it after that.
I don't even know why it bothers me so much! It's not my dog, not my problem. Maybe it's the vet tech in me, I deal with way too many problem puppers in this line of work, lots of owners who never bothered to do even basic dog training, and they _always_ wind up biting someone or destroying something valuable and irreplaceable. Then, it's off to the dog pound they go. I guess I'm just a worrier.
I'm also a recording VA myself, I get cheesed at the thought of being constantly disrupted when I'm trying to work. And I have pet birds, so I get disrupted _a looooot._ Plus I have really bad anxiety and constant sharp, loud noises make me really nervous and on edge. Yeah, I know...brilliant for me to work in a veterinary career, right? But I care more about animals than I do my own comfort.
That's also why I really want Yugo to be a good dog, but rSlash needs to understand that it takes a lot of time and effort, he can't just let her do whatever she wants. She needs structure and discipline, just like any human child. He's going to become an entitled parent himself if he's not careful!! "Hey, she's just friendly, so what if she knocked you over and caused you to drop you phone and break it? She's juuust a puuuppppyyyyy, she doesn't know any betttteerrrrr. Don't you _dare_ touch one hair on her precious, angelic little head! Maybe if you didn't jump when she barked at you, she wouldn't have bitten you! Did you ever think about _that?!_ No, of course you didn't, now I DEMAND you apologize to my Yugo!" 😂

I have to re-train my male dog to not over react to a strange dog snapping at his sister pup since her de sexing, he wants to protect her all the time. He broke his collar trying to do so and this dog is a wimp.The only behavior i refuse to teach out of my dogs is them barking at randoms and jumping on them when they come into our yard because people have been taking dogs around where i live.. figured if they jump on the person make them fall, a human breaking something because they came unannounced in the yard is a small sacrifice for my dogs not being used as bait.

Wobbles and Bean Fam, I understand your concern. My mother is a vet, and she has a lot of stories from all kinds of problematic dogs. Training is important and crucial for any pet. But honestly, there's no perfect dog for most people. Dogs are terribly clever and for most people who aren't professionals or can't pay for a professional whenever the dog steps out of what it has been taught, you'll get some misbehaviour from time to time. It's normal. Yugo seems to be noticing that if he barks whenever rSlash talks, he will eventually have attention. That's basically how you get a dog to 'talk' and it's how the dog is training him. Should be avoided and contoured, of course. But you're truly exaggerating on the amount of damage this could lead to. You're clearly overdoing it - with a gentle and simple conditioning of not giving him attention when he demands it, then rewarding when he waits or has a signal that the human is free to play (getting up, as an example), oftenly will do. Barking for attention is no sign whatsoever that it will become a ruthless killer. Nearly all puppies do it. Can be changed with ease. It's *not* a pitbull who bites whenever it is surprised. It's a puppy doing puppy things, harmless to anyone, in a controlled environment. Like a child crying within the family's house. He'll have time to work this out of the puppy.

Yeah i don't even have horses but dog that needs grooming for a lil poodle and 60 plus tips is a good deal. And takes hours to do. I do it myself for the most part to save money but yeah its alot of work. And taking horses into consideration with their size its seems like a really great deal. Its alot of time and work to do.

you are completely correct, feed alone can cost upwards of 200-500 dollars also housing (If your stabling) can be as much as an apartment depending on what barn you use. Not to mention vet bills, shoeing, tack, brushes and sprays, medicine, etc. A wise person once told me before I started to get into riding. "Stop right now and buy a plane, because within a few years you would have already spent as much."

I was working on a stable about a month ago, (same kind of bitchy old lady who's dogs where her babies, annoying yippy things, never thought I could hate a dog) but yeah when I asked the price for taking care of them was about 300 euros before vet stuff
I groom dogs, not horses. But if I extrapolate up, that price they originally offered was more than reasonable. If I had to drive 4 hours ONE WAY and groom three animals that size, I'd have charged more.

Yes horses are very expensive they are big animals so they need to be well kept I have two at my home and during the winter or rain season it just makes it a little harder but when it is hot out I need to keep a very close eye on them since they do sweat a lot and we do ride them so we also keep an eye on their water and hay. I have a pony and a draft and with both of them they both take medicine since on has a little problem with their frogs and the other a problem with their hips and the medicine is a lot of money also

I used to bathe horses, but never did clipping or prep for shows even though one of the horses I cared for was show horse. It was a nice thing to do for them in the middle of the summer day after they were ridden for a bit. The show horse used to give me a hard time all the time unless I was really not having it, but he would never bother me when it came time for a bath; leaving the bath on the other hand...

As someone who has experience with grooming horses, $150 isn't gonna cut it.

I don’t groom horses, I help my mum with dogs and cats- but if she charges like 80$ to wash and cut a big dog’s fur... yeah 150$ is NOT going to cut it for 2 horses, plus an 8 hour in total drive. God people who don’t have any inkling about animal grooming and complain about prices drive me crazy.
