My husband and I just went to Fast Eddies a few weeks ago for the first time! We love trying out new restaurants in the off season. The food was really good and they even had a live band playing right before we left. They also do a NYE celebration. We tried to go but they were sold out.
Hey Jay....Leon's is the same owner, he is just rebranding. Fast Eddie's is now our local go to since the original Whiskers closed. If you go you have try the Hot Iron Charred shrimp! Ocho Rio's has good Jamaican beef patties. Embers has the best strip steak I've had local, we belong to the Legion across the street, which just added that roof deck.

After it snowed here the other day- I felt compelled to make a reservation in OC. Be there in May for the Classic Car Show event. Glad to have you & the family back on familiar ground.
Tell me about it! They just closed it again the other day. I think it should be open soon though, weather looks good with no major wind storms. I'll probably see you out there!
@@ReelJayB We will be spending plenty of time on the OSV - my permit expires in March- just look for the red Dodge pickup with NY plates - or the 2 kites flying on the OSV -
I ate at Fast Eddie the other weekend. Their smash burgers were real good. Priced weren't to bad. Leon's wasn't to bad. Still looks the same as Whiskers.
Thank you for the update. I live in mid-town and pass by the old Hungry Seagull and Dough Roller multiple times during the week. I never noticed the places changed. Wow, got to pay more attention on what's happening around me. New subscriber here and can't wait for the next update. Been to Taylor's before the change over and can't wait to go back - really liked the West OC Taphouse.

Nice video Jay. The place in down town with the steel frame started out with a wood frame that sat unfinished for a while . I see that they keep the same foundation and foot print but it looks like some of the door ways in the foundation have been bridged with steel and will be closed off. Looks like who ever stated it ran out of money and gave up and sold it.
Hello Jay Thank you for the tour of ocean city. I haven't been there in a while now. At. It was good to see the area again. Fast eddie is a nice place to go to. I would say it's not for kids. At least the one I went too But i'm not sure about the one and ocean city. I just found your channel not to long ago & I really like your channel man. Keep up the good video you are putting out man.
Thank you!! You have to check out OC now, A LOT has changed over the years. The Fast Eddies here now is relatively new and kid friendly, it's not a chain so I think your thinking of a different one. If you remember Crabcake Factory, they had another "overflow" location where Fast Eddies is now. The CCF didn't last long until Fast Eddies took over. I guess the concept is supposed to be good with with fast service (hence the name Fast Eddies).
@@ReelJayB oh yes we are planning on going to Is ocean city this year. I have an Uncle that lives in virginia beach so we go there and stay there all the time but I also like ocean city too. I am a water guy. I just love being around water at the beach or kayaking or at the pools. I have a very big family ( wife , 6 boys , daughter in law , 7 years old Granddaughter , & a 1year & 8 month old Grandson , my lil brother Tim & his son Jimmy ) we all love to be around water or kayaking. Hopefully we can hook up and do some kayak fishing there with you if you can man. I hope you & your family are having a good weekend buddy.
I miss the Jamaican meat pies from Ocho Rios and Fast Eddie’s is pretty cool. I was also wondering if you ever did a crab cake review from Rippons Seafood. I used get lunch from there when I worked down the street. Their food is incredible.
Was there in OC last weekend and ended up at Woody’s in Dewey having their outstanding crabcakes. From your video I knew OC inlet parking was free so we went there and walked around. Anyone been to Rosenfelds deli? Thx
Wild Bills is owned by a member of the Purnell family who also own the entire block from wicomico to somerset and boardwalk to Baltimore Avenue. Which has been owned by the same family for over 100 years. The Atlantic hotel is the marquee of the lot. Unfortunately after 7+ generations the block is on the market for sale. I used to work there in the 80 & 90s. Good family to work for and even better people. OCMD is loosing some real OG family from it's history. Sad to say, they will be missed.
I haven't been there recently, we tried to go one time but the wait was too long. One day we'll try to go again. The first time we went was many years ago and night honestly can't remember it too much, I just remember the swings.
Last I heard it's still the same. They were open last year, but they shut down for the winter. But...just saw a facebook post from them that they are moving to Berlin??? We did a walk thorugh not long ago and didn't see them, so I guess we'll see if they move.
