- Join us at Ocean City Maryland as we travel the Boardwalk and try some treats and just have a fun day on the Boardwalk. We will show you the Amusement park and Ocean views Along with several other sights along the Boardwalk. We will try some Pizza at Tony's and some Popcorn at Fishers and a few other items. Same here. I grew up back East and we would go to OC often. It was such a great place and such fond memories. Moved to the west coast in 1989 and haven’t been back there since so nice to see it again 🙂
I haven't been to Ocean City since about 1981, 1982. At least 42 years. From what I remember, it was a great experience.

I love the boardwalk. Last time I went was 2019. The Alaska stand has good food. The bikes are only good in the morning. I once went in the evening and got stopped by the police. Grotto's
has good pizza on 13th street.

My late husband and I used to bring our daughter down to Wildwood NJ, it had a 2 mile long boardwalk loaded with lots of the same types of amusements and food, a favorite of my husbands was Kohr Brothers custard, he would have one every day while we were there, and of course we always had to stop and get fudge and taffy for all the folks back home. We lived on pizza while we were there, I remember the first bite when we would first get there, we'd run up to the boardwalk and get each a slice, nothing better when you're at the beach with the gulls squawking and the salt water in the air. I like the look of the Ocean City Maryland boardwalk and pier, not to crowded and easy to walk. We don't have boardwalks like that in California, and I miss those beach days. Thats pretty neat that you can rent a fishing rod on the pier, it's a great way to have the experience without having to invest a ton of money. Thanks for bringing us along on your walk, it was a nice day out.

I use to love flying my Kites on the beach back when I was a kid in the 1960s and early 1970s. I especially remember my Batman kite. ❤

Haven’t been to Ocean City yet and I hope to go one day. The boardwalk looks really nice and that pier would be fun to sightsee too. I’ll have to remember to go to Kohr Bros and get that ice cream, it looks really good! Thanks for sharing the info on all the places to check out.

I can smell that sea air through the screen. It's been about 25 years since I've been to the beach. My family used to vacation in Atlantic City and it's not there anymore. There's still an Atlantic City but it's an entirely different place.

Loved the salt water taffy when we were at Atlantic City. The popcorn, the Harrison Seafood Resteraunt and Raw Bar sounds good. Caramel Apples, the Ice cream. Just a wonderful vacation you had.

John the oldest amusement park in the world is in Denmark and it opened in 1583. The oldest amusement park in the United States is in Connecticut and was opened in 1846. Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk wasn't even built until 1910. The Atlantic City Boardwalk is the oldest boardwalk and was built in 1870. The famous Wildwood New Jersey boardwalk was built in 1890. 🤔

Loved the kites, such a beautiful day for a walk on the beach, Always amazed by some of the sand sculptures. What a great place for a vacation. I used to live in Berlin MD, just outside of Ocean City. Even the weather in the winter much milder there than in SW Pa. love the fudge, pizza and fries and vinegar. The food & sweet treats looked good, the amusement park looked fun, that shark was big, loved the shark coming out of the side of Ripley's Believe It Or Not & listening to the water was peaceful!! too bad Lombardi's is not on the Boardwalk anymore a large hand tossed pepperoni with a birch beer.. It was located next door the Purple Moose Saloon. I used to buy kites every year when we went to Ocean City on vacation. We stayed 2 weeks every year. You didn't stop at Fun City. The Fisher's cinnamon caramel popcorn IS FIRE

I don't know if you have any Martin's grocery stores in your part of west Virginia but there a sister store of giant food stores out of Pennsylvania and believe or not if you go into giant food stores the sell that fishers popcorn in there stores and it's the same thing if you go into the duchway markets in Lancaster County they also sell fisher's popcorn to

As I live in Maryland, I've been to OC a few times, but our family actually preferred Rehoboth Beach. Boardwalk is much shorter though, but town is quite charming.
We usually liked to rent a house just a block off the southern part of the boardwalk.

Love this video! Spent many summers working and playing from Rehoboth to OC in the ‘80’s 😂 Totally agree with Fisher’s caramel corn and Kohr’s custard. I can spend hours in Playland and have 900 tickets waiting to be used the next time I visit - which is 1-2 x a year as I now live in central Florida. Hope you enjoyed the mid-Atlantic beaches! And if you ever go to Rehoboth Beach check out Louie’s near the Boardwalk.

There's a bridge over the river close to downtown where I used to go crab fishing with my friends in 1982. The memories are still fresh in my mind. It's ironic how time pass you by and you don't even notice. My friends and I used to work at Trimpers's Amusement Park at the time, and we lived in a cottage close to the river. Ocean City is a highly recommended tourist destination and it doesn't cost much.

Smokers BBQ Pit is down there in Ocean City, MD! If you go West 1.6 miles out Rt 50, then turn Left on Rt 611, go 6/10 mile you are there! I can't wait to eat there again after it has been rebuilt! Thank you and keep up the great reviews!!!❤

We grew up in Maryland, and only have been to Ocean City 2-3 times. We preferred Atlantic City, before they changed to casinos, and then Wildwood is our favorite. Not much in Ocean City to do. Go to Wildwood, you would not be disappointed!

Fishers popcorn is the best, way better than Gatlinburg's Carmelcorn Shoppe. In the fall they have the carmel corn with pumpkin spice. Delicious. We pass on the peanuts with are carmel corn.
We would have a hard time passing Thrashers Fries, they are so good with malt vinegar.

I've never has Tony's pizza but Grottos on 13th street is so good. Dumer's ice cream is the best.
